The directions said to pick up from the shelf, there were no orders on the shelf for order pick up...just training manuals and such. So I waited. And waited. And waited. The cashier eventually acknowledged me and asked my name and called it out, but he was literally ignored and everyone in back just kind of disappeared leaving him to handle everything. When he got a second he went to look for my order. I suspect that my order was made as soon as it was received and tossed in a fridge. Considering it was literally a 20 minute pick up time and I was there in 15, that's a little irritating. Pulled it out of a fridge in back. The food...ok. the tortilla chips were slightly better than Tostitos lime chips. My salsa for them was about a shot glass worth. Not adequate at all. The salsa was good, just skimpy. My bowl would have been good, except it was cold. Cold rice, cold beans, cold honey chipotle chicken. Not room temp, cold. Not a great experience. Agree with the low reviews. Food had potential, service was disorganized and staff was lousy leaving two team members to handle the lunch rush, such as it barely was. Restaurant was pretty clean overall. Will probably try other locations, but won't be back to the Elko one. That it was clean was the only advantage over Costa Vida.

All 5 people got their food first and then I waited an additional 10 minutes after that before I got my order. Based on my observation, and there was plenty of waiting time to do so... I saw that only one person was working on online orders. The other 3 dilly dallied around until people started walking in. Finally, I ordered double meat for one and regular for another. They both had the same amount. So my advice is, do not order online, go in and have them make the order in front of you. Otherwise, they'll prioritize walk ins first, and if you paid for extra.... It's unlikely they'll actually abide by that if you are not watching.

But If that's not your thing, tell them cilantro and onion only and they'll make it the street taco way. I love the Mexican sodas and Horchata and the shrimp cocktail is amazing with chips! The service is always friendly for me and they always recognize me when I come in for door dashes orders as well.
