I have been a loyal customer of this Subway for the past 6-7 years since I live in the neighborhood behind the store. Unfortunately, my experience today (around 1:30 p.m.) was the worst customer service I have ever received here. When I entered the store, there were no employees at the counter, although two customers were already eating inside. I waited several minutes and politely called out "Excuse me?" and "Hello?" because I could hear employees talking and working in the back. No one acknowledged me. Another customer who witnessed me waiting even tried calling out to get someone's attention, but we were both ignored. Eventually, an employee came out. As I started placing my order, she interrupted me and said, "Y'all customers need to be more patient. If we're not out here, we're in the back doing something. Not just sitting around." I was shocked. I had done nothing except patiently wait and respectfully ask for assistance after several minutes without acknowledgment. I explained that her comment was rude and that a simple "We'll be with you in a moment" would have been sufficient. Instead of addressing my concern professionally, she rolled her eyes, argued with me, and eventually threw her hands up, said, "You know what?!" and walked away, seemingly refusing to finish helping me. When I asked another employee for the store number and contact information, I was told she had "just gotten here." When I asked for the store's phone number, she told me to "go look on Google." I work with the public myself, so I understand that everyone has stressful days. However, there is no excuse for speaking to customers this way. The issue was never the wait--it was the complete lack of acknowledgment followed by an aggressive and dismissive attitude. I'm disappointed because I've supported this location for years. I've submitted a formal complaint to Subway and hope management addresses how customers are treated going forward. read more

I totally agree with prior review. Yelp is forcing me to give this roach trap 1 star. Eboni (with an I) has NO customer service skills whatsoever. This chick tried to wrap up a burnt sandwich for my child. I informed her that I am not buying that. Another worker remade the sandwich to my child's liking. I asked Eboni why should she try and serve the sandwich after she let it burn in the toast oven. She refused to provide her last name. 15 people in line and Ebonis walked from a break and took her time to come back to the front of the store to wait on the customers. I will be contacting the Subway franchise. This place need an entire employee makeover, and a class on how to treat the public. read more

YELP IS FORCING ME TO GIVE A ONE STAR! THIS PARTICULAR SUBWAY DESERVES 0 NEGATIVE STARS!! Hiiiii Amber and EbonI (With and I)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not only insulted, but so angry at what took place this afternoon and how I was treated as a LOYAL Customer at Subway. I walked in and advised Amber (Manager) that I would like the Subway $3.50 6" inch Sub Sandwhich. After advising her of everything I wanted on it, she wrapped it up, cut it in half and asked another cashier to ring it up. The total came too almost $7. I asked why did it come to that price and Amber said because I added on Bacon and Pepperoni. I asked her why didn't she advise me of the additional prices as I was adding the meat on and she ignored my question and told the cashier to take my Sandwhich and ring me up for ONLY a Turkey Sandwhich and she will make a new one with only Turkey in a sarcastic sassy tone. After her ignoring my question, I then asked why waste that sandwhich and throw it away and waste more of Subway money? The cashier EbonI (With an I.... as she sarcastically spelled her name even though I didn't ask her for the spelling of her name ) then speaks upon her behalf and says these aren't our rules, please leave. I then asked for the girl who made my sandwhich name and she finally speaks up and says Amber. This whole time my tone didn't change and I remained as calm as possible because now its about the principle. I asked to speak to the Manager and in the most Sarcastic Tone EbonI (With and I) said Amber is the Manager. I said I hear so many horror story's about this particular Subway, how the customers are treated, the cleanliness/hygiene, and now I am experiencing it first hand. I see these kids or young adults who work there hooking up there friends with free Sandwhiches, sodas, chips all the time and this one time a loyal customer wasn't advised of additional prices and instead of allowing me to this one time to pay this price, I was treated like a monster. It is the PRINCIPLE NOW!! Since the Manager (Amber) had her spokesperson speaking for her I asked her, her name. That's when she said very sarcastically "Oh its Eboni with AND I"). I hear about these young kids or young adults treating customers like trash from my neighbors and friends, but I have now experienced it. To add insult to injury as I walked out I saw a ROACH!! That is also something I heard about this Subway, but the Health Dept. made them clean it up, so I decided to give it another shot. I am so angry and if this issue does not get fixed, I will be sure to let everyone know. GOTTA LOVE THE INTERNET!! Just so happens my Aunt is a Health Inspector for MD and I'm sure it wouldn't look good that this Subway still has roaches. Ohhh, as I left out the door I heard one of them call me a BITCH, not sure which one!! They didn't shout it out, but they said it just loud enough for me to hear it. SMH I have contacted Subway Corporation and waiting for there Immediate Reponse! NO CUSTOMER SHOULD BE TREATED THE WAY I WAS TREATED! A YOUNGER ME WOULD HAVE HANDLED THIS SITUATION ANOTHER WAY!!!!!!! This Subway is very nice. The employees were all very nice, and they made my sandwich very quickly. I was in and out in under 5 minutes. I will be back to this location in the near future! read more
