I had the pleasure of tasting this food truck at the PG County Fair. When someone mentions birria, this spot usually comes up, and once I saw them I ran right up. I had said "I heard you all have the best birria" and I was so excited for them to tell me what to try first. They have birria quesadillas and much more, but the lady told me to try the tacos. I ordered that and it wasn't too long before they were ready. I didn't uncover the consomme in my pic, but trust me when I say it was delicious. The tacos were the perfect texture, were flavorful, and it was such a delightful little tray of food. I'm glad I can finally say I have tried this spot. I went about noon on a Saturday. The place was completely empty, but the gentleman working was very pleasant. He greeted me immediately repeated my order back to me. The food was ready in about 10 minutes and it was piping hot, which I appreciated it. Really good serving size. I had the Carne Asada tacos, which were $18 plus tax. I was excited to place an order with this establishment. I arrived early for my order and after waiting almost 45 mins they gave me the wrong order. In the time i waited the staff updated me once saying that my order hadn't been prepared bc the ticket didn't print. I was not offered anything for the delay. When i finally received my order, i checked it in the car and it was a burrito that i didn't order instead of the carne asada tacos. I returned the rose and got a refund. I told my husband about this place when they opened, but yet I never went to visit until he told me he stopped and ordered the birria tacos and said they were good. I'm barely down this end of Upper Marlboro, so since my big back era is over, I wasn't going to drive out my way for some food. I ordered the Carne asada tacos, and they were perfect. There are three tacos in an order. Each each taco is wrapped in two corn tortillas. It's topped with onions and cilantro. In the container, there is some sauce and a tiny piece of lime. With no hesitation, I squeezed my lime on top of my tacos and poured the sauce on each, and took a bite. Oh my, I devoured that taco before I ever put my car in drive. It was very good and flavorful. I also ordered a horchata as I needed something to wash the food down. It was good. It tasted a little different than others I've had, but definitely not in a bad way. Prices were fair, I guess, for this economy. It's was about $18 for three tacos. I've been here twice and both times were excellent. The first time I was with a group of four coworkers: we had fajitas and tacos. Everyone left stuffed and happy. The most recent time I came with my besties. We had a time. We had the virus tacos, a large guacamole appetizer and a purple "lemonade" that I'm so sorry I can't remember the name of but trust me ORDER IT! The staff was exceptional both times. Driving from Richmond to Delaware and needed a spot for dinner...I adore Birria Tacos with consume dip and so when I saw Birrieria in the name of this spot, we stopped. Did NOT disappoint! Our waiter was lovey - a young guy who answered ALL our questions w a smile. We a cucumber margarita (yes, it is bright green and so you would think it would be sweet but it was not!) and a regular margarita. Started with Mexican street corn and grilled shrimp over guacamole - both fresh with vibrant flavors and they make their tortilla chips in house. Then of course we needed to get the Birria Tacos, we went beef but they also offered it with shrimp or chicken. It was everything I love about Birria tacos. came out hot with a good amount of melted cheese with a crisp shell - the consume was delcious. Their menu offers tortas (birria), quesadillas (pollo, birria, and shrimp), tacos (carnitas, carne asada, pollo, and shrimp), tacos de birria, and Mexican street corn. We came to check the truck out while in the area, and we ordered the following: +Tacos - I liked that you could mix-and-match up to 2, so we went for 2 carne asadas and 1 pollo; these come with onions and a huge dollop of creamy guacamole; I'd probably get this as a side, the next time, as I prefer mine simple with just onions; the carne asada was good-sized chunks and super tender; it was great dipped in the super spicy hot sauce it came with; the pollo was okay - could have been more flavorful, and it was a little dry +Tacos de Birria - the birrias were very juicy, tender, tasty, and very cheesy; slightly bland, but it was good with the super spicy hot sauce it came with; comes with a side of consomme, which I thought could have been a bit more flavorful; the birrias come in 3s +the Mexican Street Corn - I liked that this wasn't heavily mayo-dressed; the corn was fresh and it had a nice little seasoning to it; good as a side or as an app Service was very friendly and welcoming; our order took about 10 minutes or so, and made fresh-to-order. HANDS DOWN AMAZING! I was searching on yelp for some authentic Mexican food and came across this gem! Everything we had was so tasteful and perfectly proportional. Super friendly staff, Cathy you are amazing and made is feel right at home! It really felt like you walked into a piece of Mexico and I cant wait to go back! We had the Birria Tacos chicken and beef. Both were excellent! The Carne asada Tacos made me pause and look at it. THATS HOW GOODT they were!! Came in on a quiet Thursday with my friend Came in and the lady was instantly rude, letting us know that we have to sit ourselves and that they will get to us when she can , finally came to the table wasn't helpful with drinks at all , wouldn't tell us none of what our options were. But the food was so ,we'd notice that we never got chips and sauce like a normal thing and we asked if we could have some and was charged five dollars for it. Each business dose their own thing and we understand that, but with the gratuity already added our bill at least you could do was give us some chips . our food came out and we needed A couple things from her and it was very hard to get to her. It was an older lady with black hair, heavier buildIt was time to pay and we need to pay with two different cards once again, very hard to get to her, and when we did, she was very rude. We asked if you could do it and she told us to go sit down cause we came to the bar to ask her. She comes to the table and the checks were not split like we asked we tried to explain to her how we wanted to check to be split 34 and one card and the rest on the other card and she just didn't understand and slammed her device she was using on the table and told us if we can do a better do it ourselves. At that point we felt uncomfortable and very disrespected. We decided just to pay cash. I gave her $100 bill for a $70 dollar check she came back with the change incorrect owe me $10 so I called her back over and she yelled "omg lady are you serious can you just leave " to my response was yes once I get the correct change, she didn't try to argue with me any further my exception was she was trying to steal My money for her tip since she knew at this point it was slim to none of her getting a tip . She came back with the correct change and we were left very disappointed in this experience at the restaurant since we always enjoy when the food truck comes down to pop up and grow and we never have an issue there. HORRIBLE customer service!! WARNING: DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I went today, it was empty. I sat at the table nearest the door when an older lady asked if I was dining in or takeout. I said takeout and she asked me to move to the front of the store which was 2 ft from where I was and were also the "takeout " seats. I was like but I'm sitting already and no one else was there, I mean totallyempty. Long story short, I ordered the birria pizza ($38) with extra cheese. The menu says it comes w/ 4-5oz cups of consomme or 20oz of consomme. When I got my order the old lady walked out with my pizza and the bag of extras. The pizza she was holding with 1 hand which caused the box to be leaning and open on 1 side. 2nd red flag. Then I look in the bag and it's only an 8oz container of consomme. I asked for the remaining 12 oz that comes with the order, she got upset and said it inly comes with 1 cup. I showed her the menu and then she asked for the 8oz back and said I'll give you 4 smaller cups. I asked why not just bring me another 8oz container and let me leave especially when I purchased a whole pizza...$40.27 w/tax. By this time she tried to grab the 8oz consomme from my hand and said if you don'tgive me the 8oz back, i won'tgive you anythingelse. I knew I would not be spending any $$ there not today or EVER AGAIN ! I've been there b4 but the birria tacos were not good enough for the $$ I spent nor poor service received. Went here after strawberry picking today. Was told that the actual location on Crain highway was opened 2 1/2 months ago. Very welcoming staff, was greeted as soon as we walked in. Opted for takeout because of our toddler lol. However inside was clean. Decorated colorful. Now on to the food! We got the Birria tacos, birria burrito, chips and guac and chicken fajitas, all came up to $90 with tip. (Yes I tip on takeout especially if the staff if as welcoming and helpful as they were!) Husband said tacos and the guac were a solid 7 1/2, he expected a bit more flavor. I rated the same for the birria burrito, I expected a bit more flavor for the consommé and a little more kick.
