    Chicken Philly

Was nearby for shopping and stopped in to pick up a quick lunch. It was a smooth ordering process and the cashier was patient in answering questions. It was around midday lunch rush, but I thought prep time was reasonable. We had Chicken Philly + Korean BBQ wings. The food was good and I'd recommend it as an option if you're in the area.

Was angry that I had hair in my food. Then I tried to call but the phone was busy all the way to the store closed. The most disturbing thing ever.

Cheesesteaks are one of the things that I try to stay away from when it comes to giving recommendations. Like everything else, everyone has their own opinions but the debate over a "good cheesesteak" is one for the books. All that being said, Charleys NEVER lets me down. Although it was a limited time offering I was able to get a GREAT Philly "clone" called the "Old School" that just had grilled onions and Wiz on it --- it was PERFECT. If you are a person that likes a cheesesteak dressed up with a bunch of toppings they have that too. With the decline of St. Charles mall I am glad to see that Charleys opened a location right off 301.

First, love the food and happy this location opened. Would have given 5 stars but there is a problem that I hate to say I have now experienced twice. It's time to require your employees to wear their hair up or covered, as this is the second time I have found hair in my food. The first time was in my chicken cheesesteak and this time in my fries. Nothing worse than having your mouth ready and then to have to toss food you paid for. The first time I just said, forget it sure it was a one time thing and it was late. But for the second time for lunch I have to say something. I have made several purchases since you opened and am now thinking I'll find a different favorite spot. Can't be grossed out everytime I eat or wasting money. Before anyone says maybe this is my hair...sorry I'm a truly curly girl. Do better Charley's. Hygiene is everything

I purchased the CHICKEN CALIFORNIA and there was a piece of plastic in my husband's sandwich. So disappointed and so disgusted.

But I finally made it! I ordered a chicken Philly with onions, sweet peppers, and mayo. I've tried a Philly cheesesteak in Philadelphia several times before and wanted to see how this compared. The portion size was huge. Definitely enough for two meals. The meat was also thoroughly seasoned, but a little dry. Not a lot of cheese, which was disappointing. I was looking for the ooey gooey cheesy cheesesteak that I've seen on tv and food shows so many times before. This wasn't it. But it wasn't bad. Be prepared for long lines and long wait times. I really like the pager system he has, which allows you to wait in your car until your food is ready. He also has a variety of toppings including mayo, mustard, ketchup, onions, sweet peppers, mushrooms and more. I'd go back, but next time I would like to try the water ice. I was torn between giving 3 or 4 stars and decided to go with 4 due to the large portion size and taste of the food. I think it makes a difference if you don't have a reference point for Philly cheesesteaks. Without comparing it to what I tried before it was pretty good.

Never heard of this place, but we decided to give this place a try for lunch, as we had heard about their cheesesteaks. We ordered: +a Cheesesteak - opted out of the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and the red pepper relish, and just stuck with the mayo, fried onions, salt, pepper, and American cheese; this was super delicious! It was greasy, juicy, flavorful, and super generous in the filling; the roll was soft, too, and we thought this was prepared pretty well! +Gyro Wrap - served in pita bread with onions, tomatoes, and a huge dollop of the house tzatziki sauce; this was a bit forgettable, as it could have had more gyro meat; the pita bread was soft and fluffy; wasn't really a fan of the thick tzatziki sauce +a Four Cheese pie - topped with provolone, mozzarella, cheddar, and feta; probably one of the worst pizzas we've had; it looked pretty trashy, as you can see slices of the cheese that were used, rather than shredded; the tomato sauce was more on the sickly sweet side and had an offputting taste to it; the crust was super soft, and didn't seem like the 'brick oven-style' that the place was touting Staff were very friendly! There's only a couple of tables inside to dine-in, but most seem to call ahead and take to-go orders. Definitely would return for the cheesesteaks! Located in the Smallwood Village Center, there's ample parking available. +cheesesteaks! +friendly service +limited seating inside +located in the Smallwood Village Center +ample parking

I've been to this place randomly for a little over a decade and a char burger with half fries are my go to. Fries are always top tier as well. I tried a cheesesteak (with mayo and grilled onions), a hotdog (with bbq sauce and grilled onions) and some onion rings. The cheesesteak was very bland. It lacked seasoning, and they put so little mayo on it that it seemed like just eating steak and bread. I had to add some pepper and sauce at home to add some flavor to it and make it more enjoyable. The hot dog was better from a sauce perspective, but the meat itself was just ok. I had hoped they had something special about their hotdogs, but it seemed to me it could have easily been something I picked up at the local supermarket. Solid, but not something I would order again. The onion rings were good, and the establishment was clean and inviting. I may go back to try their charburgers, as those seem to be a specialty. Hopefully it will be better than the meh meal I had today.
