My wife got a chicken gyro and enjoyed it, but said she would get the sauce on the side the next time. The portions were huge, so it justified the prices. The dining room was clean and staff were friendly. The bathroom could have used a bit more attention, but was functional. Overall a pretty good experience. I mentioned to the waitress that this didn't seem right, and her response was simply, "That's just how long it takes." I explained that if carryout was actually going to take 45 minutes, I should have been told that upfront. I would never have chosen to wait that long. What disappointed me most wasn't just the delay--it was the lack of communication and the lack of concern. A sincere apology or an honest update would have gone a long way. The El Pastor in particular, which is a marinated pork taco, had more of a subtle flavor from the marinade that did not jump out at you versus some of the better ones I have had. Having said that, they were still good authentic Mexican street style tacos. Overall, this restaurant is a great option If you are looking for better made Mexican food and are in this area.
