This is the first we ordered the Cubanio sandwiches from GrubHub. The sandwiches were good and well made with the pork, ham, swiss. It does need the be pressed into a grill with butter, so that both ends are brown and crisp. Doing this would make it a true cubanio. Other than that, I would order it again. We had a few different toasted sandwiches/actually little subs or hoagies. You pick a sandwich and build it to our liking. The chicken club with apple wood smoked bacon and cheddar was a hit. I'm late to the PotBelly chain but I just heard about their Pup Cream and I love my dogs so I placed a mobile order and picked it up just minutes later. Everyone working was very friendly and very efficient! I was surprised my custom order was ready so soon and done perfectly I really like their tuna, better than Panera's actually. I love that it's not too wet and I added banana peppers, subtracted the cheese on the custom online order form I also love that they sell shakes in two sizes! The food is 5/5 but the service is a 2/5. They used to be so friendly, talking to you as you went through the line... but I don't know if it's this particular location or all locations, but they are allowing the employees to wear air pods. The lady who took my order and did the meat was apparently on a phone call, and the one who was doing the toppings had AirPods in. He didn't even say a word. I ordered the chicken and cheddar, 2 oatmeal cookies that are irresistible, chicken noodle soup and a vanilla shake. Customer service is a plus for me and I wil be back. I wanted a sandwich for dinner & remembering that Potbelly just opened, I decided to stop here. I ordered a Wreck, minus the ham. I had also seen macaroni & cheese advertised at another store, but there was no such signage or any indication that they offer it. Too bad, because I might've gotten som The first problem is that, unlike with other chains, the counter is so high that I couldn't see over it. I am very short, but it seems that if food is being made to order at a place like this, the customer should be able to see it. It also seemed to take a very long time, considering I was the only customer in the place. Before my order was rung up, I asked for an ice cream sandwich and was told "No problem". Um, it SHOULDN'T be a problem -- it's their JOB to give the customer what s/he asks for! But that's a semantic issue that always gets under my skin. Then, another counterperson asked how I'd be paying & I said credit card. He ran some card for the register, and then the young woman who waited on me asked me again, so I told her again. (She was standing right there when he asked, so I don't know why she felt the need to ask again.) Then she slid HER card through, handed me the sandwich and said "Have a nice day". I reminded her that I'd also asked for the ice cream sandiwch, and she said, "Oh, right. Pick the 2 cookies you want." That surprised me, as I thought they'd already be made up. Given the choices, I wanted oatmeal raisin, but they only had one, so I took that and a brownie chocolate chip. She then scooped some vanilla ice cream & put it on the cookies, so I assume there are no other flavors. And, of course, she hadn't added it to the sandwich, so she had to ring it up separately. I have never personally been here living in Florida, however I came across a tiktok from someone that did order from this location and felt compelled to write a review. The person that posted the tiktok was in the hospital, and ordered the food to be delivered and included a special request for "extra condiments, because the hospital food was awful." To her surprise, not only did they include extra condiments, they provided her multiple additional sandwiches, and multiple additional cookies. To me this gesture was so heart warming to see, and such a selfless act of kindness. I was in this store last week, it was 2pm so well after the lunch rush. There was a sign on the door that said orders had to be placed online. As I walked in and noticed that I was the only customer in the store, I thought perhaps I could place an order with an employee. Nope! As I was standing there going on line to place my order, I noticed there were five employees and one was sitting down behind the corner eating. I couldn't help but wonder why one of these employees couldn't just take my order. I submitted my order and as I waited, there were four people that walked in and when they saw that they had to go online to place their orders, they turned and walked out. I'm not sure whether the store owner knows this is taking place or not, but regardless...this process is losing them business. Potbelly is probably my favorite sub chain. They have a good variety of sandwiches and quality ingredients. Besides sandwiches they have salads, milkshakes made from hard-packed ice cream and real fruit (also smoothies), and they are now offering Mac & Cheese. The prices at Potbelly are also competitive to the other sandwich chains. The staff this location in Bloomfield Hills on Telegraph is really friendly and the food has been great. The store hasn't been open super long but everything has been great so far (over multiple visits so far). The parking lot can be quite busy though - it shares the lot with a Chipotle and a Starbucks. Even so - I'm sure we will be returning frequently to this location. read more

Really not sure how I never tried potbelly. We didn't haven't them where I used to live but I've now lived near this location for 3 years and somehow have never ordered. It was 90 some degrees out and needed something cold, salad sounded great. I was super surprised to find a pick two so I can try some other stuff too! Ended up with the powerhouse salad with chicken and Mac and cheese added bacon and hot peppers. Everything arrived how it should, cold was cold and the hot was hot. I was surprised the salad wasn't ice burg which is a good surprise trust me I don't want a bowl of water. Topped with avocado, red pepper hummus, cucumbers, grilled chicken, tomatoes and egg. Definitely a good salad combo and will order this again! The Mac and cheese wasn't bad but I think it could've been a little fresher. I like the location of this particular store... they have some outdoor seating which is nice when the weather permits it.. the staff is friendly and thankfully not slow.. there is a lot of seating inside and if you get a soda with your meal you can fill it up yourself. Their shakes are always delicious! I like the turkey breast sandwich on wheat.. I like to get some of the add ons especially the hot peppers.. I like that they cut the sub in half. Their cookies are pretty good.. they are soft! They have some different combinations like oatmeal chocolate chip and brownie cookie.. the brownie cookie was pretty good! They do have restrooms inside and for the most part everything is clean. Staff is pretty attentive and when someone leaves I have seen them go over and clean the table so it's ready for the next patron. That is nice! My experience at this Potbelly was OK. I like the decor in this space. I had a mushroom and melted cheese sandwich and it was very bland. The counter is too tall and I couldn't see them making my food. They didn't run you through the ordering process and I was very confused on whether or not you choose your own toppings and they seemed very annoyed with me. I work near by and hit a lot of local restaurants for lunch. Went to potbelly's (which every one seems to rave about). Right off the bat I was treated rudely by the employees. I was the only customer ordering food at the time, and still had to wait a long period of time for my sandwich. I paid for my food, got my drink . And then was told "I need to get back over here to pick my toppings" RUDE! I asked for mustard and was not aware it was spicy mustard. And was given attitude when I asked about it . ( food took long enough to make that I could pay and get a drink before it was done) I mean over all the food was good the employees ruined it for me . I used to really like Potbelly but this location has changed with my last couple carry out orders. Mediterranean Salad came with nothing but yellow cores, and soggy brown lettuce. Next time I ordered the mushroom melt since the salad was so bad. It's supposed to come with the usual lettuce, tomato and sauce toppings. It had only mushrooms and cheese.
