I had to find a somewhat healthy(ish) dinner while in Windsor (I was starving!), so I popped in here to get a salad made. The sandwich artist made me one of the best salads I've ever had, to be honest. He won't exactly what I wanted on it and listened when I asked for extra onions & black olives. delicious food. i got a tuna sub and it was truly perfection just melting in my mouth. im dead serious. ignore the bad reviews, dont know what subway they went to but it couldnt have been this one bc it was so gosh darn good. people were very nice and smiley, great service. not too busy so it was nice and quiet but with some really good music in the background. i think it was fleetwood mac. overall serving yummy food, good smiles, and great tunes! 10/10 experience, definitely come here if you need a place to stop. i would add a photo of my food but i gobbled it up so fast that i forgot to take a picture. sorry! read more

I ordered a Philly with double meat. The sandwich description states double cheese, but I was charged for double cheese in addition to the sandwich price. I also asked for it to not be toasted and was served cold steak. I order this sandwich this way all the time. If you look at my account in the app I actually ordered it yesterday at another subway. I asked why it wasn't heated they said that's not how we do it have a good day. Once I was visibly angry and asked for my receipt, which I didn't get to begin w bc I don't need it, a lady tried to explain the other person was new or offer other excuses but when I approached the counter to inquire about the temperature all 3 employees stood there like sorry enjoy your bacteria ridden cold steak sandwich we overcharged you for. Just came through while passing through town and had a fun experience here. One employee was new but I could tell she was trying to do a good job and taking her time to make a good sub! Another employee (white female with tattoos) was also very friendly and accommodating, both to the customers and her co-workers. Another black woman was also working and equally as nice! Had some laughs and a good time and wanted to share the positive experience via this review. Unfortunately i didn't see name tags! I'll never eat at this subway again, may not eat at any subway due to the continued sub par food and service at this location. My latest and last experience: made an order using the app. When I picked up the food I noticed there wasn't any cheese sauce for the footlong pretzel. I knew to check because they left it out last time too. Because I checked the cheese I also found there was no way they toasted the bread as ordered. Initially the two workers ignored me. The male was helping a customer, so no issues, but the female just ignored me. So when the kid finally went to get me cheese, there was hardly any in the bottle. He went in the back to get more and apparently they were out so he did his best and gave me maybe a 1/4 cup. Didn't bother to ask if I wanted a different sauce, just gave me enough for about 3 dips. Then when I brought up the bread not being toasted they developed an attitude so rather than addressing it with the two people who obviously have no pride in their work I just left. That was a mistake because the meat was freezing cold. There's no way they even microwaved the meat let alone toasted the bread. Just the latest in a series of horrible service, bad tasting food, and lack of pride in their jobs. Never again Windsor Subway, never again. read more

I love Subway in Windsor but tonight I had the worst customer service! This was my first time ever having the worst customer service at Subway usually the kids are friendly but tonight a young lady name Chloe had a very nasty attitude her service sucks. I let it be known that I would know that I would be calling the manager in the morning to let them know about her attitude. First she was not greeting she just rush me when asking what I wanted then when I gave her my money she gave me my change and just threw it on the counter and I told her that wasn't the way she should have gave me my money back and she was just nonchalant and was like okay. It's just hard to explain in words you just have to be there to see her attitude and how nonchalant she was it's like she was trying to impress a little young guy that came in but she was very rude but when she started talking to the young guy that she knew her whole Attitude Change something needs to be done about her because her attitude is not good for customer service read more

I went here for lunch during my break . I ordered the tuna and it smelled sour and oh man tasted horrible I haven't returned since.

I stop here to and from the beach multiple times a year as I have food sensitivities and they have been kind and accommodating. It is not easy to find real food on road trips. I usually take my own food and eat out at farm to table scratch kitchens as I favor healthy, organic, fresh, local, real food but those places are normally expensive and sadly they are few and far between. Subways sometimes work for me...have noticed some are better than others. Sometimes at normal Lunch hours they have been busy and were a little slow. Anyway, this place works for us... I get a plain lettuce salad here and ask them to shred/chop it fine for me and just use oregano on it as I travel with my own dressing. My family who are without food restrictions can order sandwiches or salads and we have never had a bad experience in the 4 years we have been stopping there. Nestled in a corner of a small shopping strip...but easy in, easy out, plenty of parking, The tables and restrooms are clean and it is a good place to stretch a bit and most importantly they have been pleasant! read more
