Absolutely, without a doubt... awesome lil ice cream parlor with an old fashioned country vibe! The staff were very friendly & welcoming! There is a nice variety of homemade unique tasty ice cream! We enjoyed banana pudding & butter pecan ice cream! It did not disappoint! When we visit again, this place is definitely on our list!

Stopped in after a play at the Smithfield Little Theater. The Country Ham Sandwich was very good! Salty, and simple. I don't know what to say about this place except comfortable, nostalgic, friendly and good simple eats!

I love the ice cream here. The Hershey's ice cream is so nostalgic! I haven't been to an ice cream parlor like this since I was a child. The food could be a little better but the ice cream was amazing. I love the location in the middle of Main Street in Downtown Smithfield. This is one of my favorite places and I love walking down Main Street and looking at some of the shops on a leisurely stroll. It's very beautiful, especially with all the Victorian style homes!

I love visiting Smithfield for its small town charm and not being congested. The hubs and I had finished kayaking in the area before stopping in. Luckily we found parking on the streets right by the shop on a Sunday. Upon entering we saw candy striped awning with a fifties feeling of an old fashioned ice cream shop. Red stools and booths gave the place color. This one in particular had a sandwich station on one side near the entrance with ice-cream on the end. Sandwiches and ice-cream, my favorite combination all in one place. We walked up to the counter and looked up at the menu. I decided on a hot Reuben while my better half who wasn't as famished as I was chose the kids grilled cheese. Both came with a pickle, chips on a paper plate. One thing I heard a lot was the microwave. It was positioned not to far away from where they toasted the bread. I guess that's how they melt the cheese and quickly make "hot" sandwiches. My Reuben was tasty and warm. It was good thousand island dressing, sauerkraut, and pastrami. Both sandwiches were served on paper plates making it easier to dispose of it. Salty ruffle chips followed to accompany my sandwich. I found out they serve Hershey's Premium Ice-cream. I was a bit confused, because the shop said Smithfield's ice-cream parlor. I thought it was going to be home made or in-house made where their ice-cream creations was exclusive to their store. That was a bit disappointing, but we still ordered a strawberry milkshake to satisfy our sweet cravings. It was cold, thick and creamy. Hershey's is a good brand when it's available to have. It was a great stopover for lunch. Great place for families, friends, and little ones to grab a quick bite. We will be back when we are in town :)

First the location: it's in a strip mall, which it shares with Kroger, a thrift store, and one of the last Roses stores around. The inside was very nice and had a real country atmosphere. Everything appeared well-kept and clean. As we entered we were quickly greeted and taken to our table. Within a few moments, we had our two sweet teas, and our order was taken. Let's say wow - our order was delivered to our table in maybe 7-8 minutes. I was in total shock. The meals. The wifey has the Monte Cristo French Toast meal. I could tell she liked it a lot. As I look at her taking her first full bite and her eyes are blasting open. She said it was absolutely outstanding. As for me, I had Biscuits & Gravy with potatoes and bacon. I will also tell you I was very happy with the taste and the portion. As for service: We had a young lady named Stephanie. I bet she checked on us 6-7 times during our stay and we were not her only table. She was just that attentive. Total for two of us - $33 which include includes a hefty state and local tax. 12.25% - Virginia and localities have gotten out of control. So I will give this place a solid 5-star review and hope that if you're passing through - and need a nice breakfast or lunch, go on in.

My husband had the gluten-free pancakes and he really enjoyed them. He also got their grilled pork chops which he liked. Their coffee is amazing, strong and hot! We shared the pecan Dijon salad. It was okay. We got a side of fries...hot and just the right amount fit salt. It's a very popular spot as we had to wait a little to be seated. But it is truly worth the wait! We will definitely be back!!

They opened up about a month or so ago. I live about 80 min away from Cape Charles. So I generally I plan a day trip to visit. My kiddos and I had a Monday trip this week. I was worried they may not be open since sometimes Monday's are a day businesses close to recover from the summer weekend rush. But, they were open! When we arrived we headed straight back to where they are located inside of Table & Tonic.... Super cute store by the way. They still had a pretty good selection around 12:30pm. We picked up some sandwiches, chips, pasta salad, soda and their homemade desserts. They have a whole self checkout system set up. You bag it, and pay for it all on your own. They have plastic wear and condiment packets if needed. The male there (assuming owner) was great. He was attentive and helped a customer chose their sandwich... which ended up being the chicken salad. The sandwiches were fantastic! Fresh and tasty! My favorite was The Virginia. It was like a chicken Caesar salad on focaccia. The bread was perfect, not hard at all. My children raves about the chicken salad sandwich. Their two pasta salad options are a perfect accompaniment to the sandwiches. One is a creamy base and the other is more of an oil and vinegar type of base. Both were absolutely delicious! The salads looked fresh and the homemade desserts were a sweet bonus to everything. I do wish there is lighter options, as tthey do not weigh so heavy on the stomach for the beach. Other than that everything is wonderful and keep up the great work! You will go places for sure!
