You're missing out if you haven't been to Sucree D'Luxe!! It's a family owned dessert shop, with an aesthetic interior and amazingly good desserts. I tried 2 of their roll cakes and 6 mochi and can confirm that their desserts aren't too sweet. Their mochi is also amazing - delicious flavours and the mochi skin is super thin. I would say it's even better than the infamous Sasaki Pastry in J-Town. Beware that they do run out of stock quickly, so it's best to either order ahead or go early. They also only allow preorders for their pancakes, which I'll do next time! The girl at the counter recommended the Nutella banana mochi, and even though I don't really like Nutella, it might have been my favourite one!! I was originally introduced to Sucrée D'luxe through a Yelp experience a few months ago. I was blown away by the mochi, marshmallow bars, and cake that I returned last week for more. When I drove here the first time, I used Waze and didn't arrive successfully. Whether using a driving app, such as Google Maps or Waze, it led me to the wrong building. Both referenced building A. The address has this store being a part of building D. It's basically the building across from A, but the east side. In other words, you are driving along the third-last aisle that's parallel to Leslie. Waze has corrected the issue. Google Maps hasn't. Use Waze to get here. There were plenty of parking spots in front of the store. It was shaded there. I backed into a spot both times and walked in. I got a different female staffers on both visits. They were both helpful and warm. I have had the matcha KitKat mochi, which had bits of KitKat. Each mochi is individually enclosed in a box. It feels like opening a jewellery box. The mochi is delicate and a decent size. I am not a huge whipped cream person. However, the KitKat was broken up into two pieces and surrounded by the whipped cream. The filling was amazing! It was light and yummy. The mochi had matcha powder on top. It had a subtle matcha taste. The mochi was delicate, but still strong enough to hold in the filling. It was so soft and almost malleable. It was the best mochi that I have had in eons! This visit, I got a six-pack of these mochi flavours: - Mango - Pineapple coconut - Lychee - Golden kiwi - Nutella banana - Strawberry banana If you get six or more mochi, you save a bit. If you pay with cash, the tax is waived off. The mango mochi was awesome! It had diced mango mixed in with the whipped cream. It was dreamy. I got to sample a strawberry marshmallow bar during my first visit. It's not really a bar. It's more of a square. I loved the strawberry flavour. It was slightly sweet. The marshmallow is an experience. It's not squishy like a typical marshmallow. It's crispy on the outside, but softish and moist inside. It's pretty cool. It's not quite dehydrated, but it's halfway there. I got the honeydew marshmallow bars in a little bag last time. They had a natural sweetness to it thanks to the honeydew. It was so good. This time, I got a jar of strawberry marshmallow bars. They still taste as yummy as the first time I had one. Delicious! I ended up getting a couple of cake rolls during my first visit. Both flavours, the taro lychee and ube coconut, were still available this return visit. I rattled off everything that I had bought the last time that the nice woman during my most recent visit gave me a chocolate Oreo cake on the house. Wow! I wasn't expecting that kind gesture at all. The chocolate Oreo cake is decadent. There's chocolate pudding in the middle that is divine! I loved the other two flavours, but the chocolate Oreo is now my new favourite flavour. This place accepts credit and debit cards as payment methods. I used a credit card both times. You can tip if you'd like. All desserts are slightly sweet, with the mochi being a touch sweeter than the cake rolls. If you are like me who doesn't like overly sugary items, the desserts at this store are for you. This place is such a gem. I originally had one mochi. It was not enough! I wanted more and returned to indulge some more. If you love mochi and unique desserts, like marshmallow bars, come here. Mochi lovers paradise! If you love Mochi this place is a MUST TRY! And by try I mean you need to get six flavours for just yourself just to make sure. I thought I knew Mochi, but this is a fresh, delicately thin, soft, slight chew of the sticky rice perfection. There is talent is making these, because once you hold it and it starts to stretch down your fingertips, you will understand the craft it takes to wrap it up. The filling inside is fresh whipped cream, enveloping a slice of real fresh fruit. One Mochi problem is how to enjoy it beyond one or two bites. Durian Lover? Or know of one?? Than you must get the Durian Mochi! The soft smooshy fruit inside really accentuates the delicate wrapper of the Mochi. It's the perfect mouthfeel combo. Warning: Just check with your nearby company before you open the box Yes, yes I know the Mango is the most popular there, sweet chunks of ripe mango fruit, however if you appreciate Durian(The King of Fruits, and either perfume/garbage aroma) this one is done very well. Pancake Mochi, is made not with sticky rice but flour like a real pancake. This holds the dessert much stronger yet still delicate more so than a crepe. Fridays and weekends is when Lillian will have portioned roll cakes out. Her Ube & Lychee Rose Whipped Cream is another unique hit. Imagine Issey Miyake Cologne in dessert form; the alluring sweet fragrance from her lychee whip, sprinkled with rose petals, the soft ube cake roll whispering more vanilla like notes in harmony with this dessert. It's lightly sweet, it's very moist, one roll is not enough, I had two to be sure of this. Marshmallow Treats are not the typical kind. Her squares are interesting, like those marshmallow rice crispy squares meets golden grahams and granola mixed into one. Crowd pleaser for sure, the kids destroyed The Original Milk and Honeydew. This is my second time here after coming in for the yelp event. Lilian was there to assist me and I got everything that was left at 5:45pm (they closed at 6pm). I called before coming in to see what was left. Lilian was so kind to help even though it was almost closing time. Paid 3.50 for each mochi because we got more than 6 of them (pineapple cocount, matcha kitkat, nutella banana, and golden kiwi). She also threw in a couple of mochis extra since end of day. She also went to the back to give me and my kids a sample of mango marshmallows (it was so good). I think I'm addicted to these mochis. I am coming back again. Take my money! read more

I came here for the Yelp event. I'm not particularly a huge dessert persin but I love this place. Service - 5/5: Lillian was super kind and helpful. I wasn't sure if I could only choose from the ones with the yelp sign. She said I could choose any flavour. She had a fresh batch of honey dew mini marshmellow bars and she let us try. The honeydew powdered dusting enhanced the flavour. Ambiance - 5/5: nice and bright. Minimalistic approach. She doesn't put a lot on display at a time so if you have trouble picking between options, it helps. Everything is clearly labelled. She also gave us a little gift. Food - 5/5: mochi - we got the mango one. I don't actually think it's icecream inside. I think it's fresh cream. There's a good filling to mochi ratio. The mangoes were nice and sweet. Chocolate marshmellows - marshmellows in general was a present surprise. It's not the normal texture that you expect. It reminds me of a crispy/crunch nougat. The chocolate was more mellow in flavour compared to the honeydew. I also like to note that there are 2 layers of wrapping which helps keep the freshness of the marshmellows for longer. There are nuts in the marshmellows (at least the 2 that we tried), just for any readers who have a nut allergy. Overall, the desserts are not overly sweet and I totally appreciate that. Overall: 5/5. My other half and I were in the area and came across this place and it piqued our interest to come in to take a look around and wow we did not regret it. We were pleasantly greeted by the store owner who gave us a brief walk through of her offerings and we settled on just getting a mango mochi as a sample. The mango mochi was light and fluffy, true to its name with the mango flavors and was enough to make us definitely want to check this place out again. The owner is super nice and we chatted for a bit. Apparently this store front has only been open for 2 months but shes been running things for a few years now. On top of the fluffy as a cloud mochi they also offer something called a "marshmallow bar" that is only related to marshmallows as it is one of the ingredients used to make it. Otherwise everything else about it I just cant quite explain as it was quite unique and I havent had anything quite like it that words escape me. AMAZING MOCHI! Legit was so impressed with the mochi here. We got Nutella banana, durian, mango, and matcha KitKat. All of the flavors were soooo good and had fresh fruit in them. The mochi was super soft and thin and was the perfect amount of sweetness. Get a whole six pack or more. Like really, you'll be wanting more after your first bite. There is no big fancy sign, plain interior, however, you will come across the most fluffy, creamy mochi desserts. These desserts were absolutely lovely. I would recommend eating them as soon as possible. When you first get them, the cream is so smooth inside and the mochi skin is so soft on the outside. The flavours were also very delicious. I was surprised to bite into the strawberry mochi and find kiwi inside! I loved the interesting flavours that were available. The Oreo and Matcha Kit Kat mochis really took me by surprise. I had never tried them in a mochi dessert before. There was no hassle with pick up. The owner is very friendly and kind. There is no dining inside, it is a kitchen where the desserts are created. I would recommend trying this place out for mochi desserts. read more

TLDR - A rare 5 STARS rating for a delicious and one of a kind dessert that has no near competitor to even compare against. Sucree Dluxe is located in the ground floor unit of a commercial office building. (You read it right). Other than some signs and graphics on the storefront, no one will suspect the existance of a retail dessert store. Yet here it is, Sucree Dluxe makes fresh cream and fruit filled mochi and pancakes. Each piece is a pillow, wrapped by a feather soft, thin and light mochi/pancake skin. Inside is cream soft like cotton. And a piece of fruit of your choice. During my visit, the selections were durian (very strong), strawberry, mango, kiwi, lychee, and matcha. These aren't expensive ingredients, but the craftmanship is so superb. Even better, I ordered 3 different pieces. The quality of the craftmanship and ingredient was consistent, meaning high quality control. The price is $3 to $4 a piece, depending on volume. I think the price is fair and these would be more expensive if sold at hip cafe. As unit price drops with increasing volume, Sucree Dluxe is perfect for events, such as bacherotte party, birthday party, office events, etc.. If not for a Yelp event, I wouldn't have heard of Sucree Dluxe. I am so glad Yelp spreads the word, cause the young owner/chef has exquisite skills and big dreams.
