Food was great. Crunchy seasoned fried artichokes, savory cheese sauce, and the egg- rich. Bread was a good sauce bread. Wine was great! I would definitely come again, my server Matias had great service and held good conversation.

I truly love this corner restaurant in Barcelona. There is all about the food quality and the fusion of exquisite Catalan cuisine!

Artichoke and egg dip... make sure you order this!

We visited Barcelona last week and stayed at the Weflating Suites in Sant Antoni, and the first thing we noticed when we walked into our apartment was the flyer for this restaurant, which was conveniently located downstairs from our apartment. Our first night in Barcelona we decided to try it and what a great dinner! The menu is simple yet has something for every preference! We asked our waiter (who was also lovely btw!) for some descriptions and recommendations and we were not disappointed. We started with la ensalada Rusa (potato based salad), followed by our all-time favorite, the artichoke and egg dip (AMAZING!!!). We also decided to order the octopus with the pumpkin - the personal theme of my Barcelona trip was octopus since I tried it at every restaurant and this was definitely top 3. We also ordered the duck, which was grilled and served with some sort of soy sauce based sauce. Lastly, we ordered the scallops with pancetta, which of course was the perfect finishing touch to our meal. The service and food were so amazing we actually went back again before we left. Highly highly recommend if you're in the Sant Antoni area. If you're feeling adventurous, the restaurant is only about 2-3 blocks from the Sant Antoni stops on the L2 line. Buen provecho!

    Galician digestif. Strong and good!

The food's good and it's a place loved by locals. Book ahead to get a table. Without booking, consider being lucky to be seated at the bar.

Very flavorful and fast experience. Oxtail and mashed potatoes 10/10: the oxtail meet is so tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes pair so well with the oxtail. Mushroom, steak, and egg yolk 9/10: soo flavorful and balance of veggies and protein. Amazing textures and flavors. Sparkling sangria: 8/10 I don't normally live the taste of alcohol but this was great. Not tooooo strong and if tastes pretty good if you mix it with the orange juice. Fresh orange juice: 10/10 so tangy and delicious. I can't recommend it enough. Patatas bravas: 9/10 solid no complaints! Dessert Tapas: - bread dessert (Tarija): 11/10 amazing dessert that is creamy, cameralized, and has a mochi like texture. This fried chewy dessert is not too sweet and such an affordable price. - coconut pudding 9/10 solid and refreshing if you like flan - bread, chocolate oil, salt 7/10: I live the complex flavors. The chocolate mousse was light and the bread to mousse ratio was perfect. It's a smaller dessert tho I wouldn't recommend it if ur sharing. Service: amazing! Staff I'm everywhere so it was very easy to order more food. Also we were sitting buy the area where they made dessert and they allowed me to record them making it!! Comfortable ambiance great for date night or casual meals!!!

The feta cheese was absolutely disgusting, it tasted like imitation rubber cheese. - The "Al Ajillo" Style Shrimps (GAMBES AMB ALLADA) had a very strange flavor within it, which overwhelmed the garlic flavors. - The Beef Tenderloin (FILET VEDELLA), she had to spit 1/4 of it out because it was too tough. - Everything was overpriced there for the value. If you are in the area DO NOT waste your time nor money dining here!!!

Thank goodness we had a reservation, otherwise the wait time for walk-ins was quoted to be 2-3 hours. We were seated at the counter, smack-dab in the middle of all the action. The drinks were just okay, but the tapas were great! We tried the anchovy dish, jamon, tomato toast, paella, padron peppers, spanish omelette, mussels, and finished with the crema catalana for dessert. All of the dishes were outstanding and they did not disappoint. Service was phenomenal and they were all very friendly and engaging with diners. They guided us on how many plates to order and stopped us from ordering too much, which I appreciate since we weren't sure how big each portion was. Would definitely come back if I had the chance!

Be careful ladies! The street outside this resturant is not safe in my estimation. I mean my beautiful daughter did get chased by "a newer uninvited resident." Inside? The best resturant in the city. Maybe in all of Spain. I could make a case for it to be THE BEST RESTURANT ON EARTH. (Except that title goes to Commanders Palace in New Orleans or Caviar Kaspia in Paris. But maybe not.) Great service. Great food. Great feeling place. Drawbacks? The neighborhood. The entrance to get in is AWFUL. The place is always too crowded and it can get very loud. Yet I am giving it the maximum stars? "Why Mancow," you ask. Ready? I don't know! Its just THAT SPECIAL.
