Manchengo toast and bursts salad. Both amazing!

Great lunch spot close to Sagrada Familia! We went with our large group of 8. Lovely outdoor shaded seating. Lots of delicious options. Great service. A nice place to rest and get away from crowds after visiting the church.

My last (for now), and favorite meal in Barcelona. I went here on my last day in Barcelona for a late lunch. Exact names I struggle to remember however the two dishes I ordered were the ravioli and the classic platter. Both were spectacular. I totally did not expect this kind of quality so close to the tourism central of Sagrada Familia. The ravioli were filled with some sausage I believe and sauce, and fried on the outside. (See photo) I would've been happy just ordering this x3 they were so fantastic. The platter comes with a variety of great Catalan food, such as sausage, beans, pan con tomate, and a mixture of peppers, onions, mushrooms. The flavors here all go splendidly together. Highly recommend this dish, especially if looking for a bit of variety. Will definitely return when I am back in Barcelona.

We found this place on Yelp, it seemed like a casual place for tapas. We came around 4pm on a Sunday afternoon, there was ample seating and cool for a hot day. Waitress was really friendly. We stayed for long time because they have wifi and they didn't care, but at one point there was only one girl working - taking orders and cooking and cleaning up and doing the bill and I felt really bad. She was also very nice. The king prawns were ok, it wasn't too fresh but the flavors were fine. The croquettes were good, although our croquettes were a lil cold on the inside. But it was a pretty big croquette compared to everywhere else. They had these "crispy raviolis" which were very interesting, I've never seen them before and they tasted very good but also very salty/deep fried. It a was a bit heavy for my taste palette but it's good to share with 3 people. The jamon was ok as well, it was very moist. I like jamon more dry. Their coffee ice cream was solid

Amazing three meals here this week. Great tapas, salads, bread, desserts, Tonight we decided to return and have the Paella Catalan style... We were so happy! Great small restaurant with personalized service!

Awesome place. Arthur is so nice. The cod and grilled vegetable dish and gazpacho was fantastic. Beer is 2 euro. About a block from the Sagrada Familia.....

Sausage and Brie open faced sandwich OMG!

This place is still open. Don't know why Yelp is listing it as closed. We came here for lunch on our last day in Spain and wished we had come earlier so we could have hit it one more time. The octopus salad was great and tasty full of octopus and avocado. The open faced sandwich with sausage and Brie was a flavor treat. My daughter had the gazpacho and did not particularly like it as it had an underlying flavor of olive which she can't stand. I thought it was good, but I like olives. Sangria was nice both red and white. Come and enjoy the good food!

OMG, Food is fantastic and staff are super nice. We were a group of six people and tried different tapas and sandwiches. One dish came after another one, more delicious than the last dish. It mad our day after a long walk and site seeing.

location is great but the food was so so, it was hit or miss. Service was good but some of the food was missing salt no flavor. The Sangria was good and they had wifi

Tiny place with not much staff, but great food! Convenient spot near La Sagrada Familia. Best to go and relax, not a good place if you're in a hurry. the fish with greens, the steak, the squid, and the shrimp were all cooked to perfection. The desserts made the kids happy!

Looking at the review from Boo Boo, we had to try this place! Boo Boo did not lead us astray. The food was good, as was the service. I had patatas bravas and they were spicy. The aioli sauce on them was very good. My husband had squid and octopus. The Catalan creme for dessert was a nice finish to the meal. By the way, we did reservations, which worked well.

A nice place with a small terrace close to the Sagrada. A brunch menu at 7€50 per person, with eggs bacon pastry juice coffee chesse and sausage, everything tasteful. The orange juice wasn't fresh but apart from that, a really good deal. The staff is friendly.

Very flavorful and fast experience. Oxtail and mashed potatoes 10/10: the oxtail meet is so tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes pair so well with the oxtail. Mushroom, steak, and egg yolk 9/10: soo flavorful and balance of veggies and protein. Amazing textures and flavors. Sparkling sangria: 8/10 I don't normally live the taste of alcohol but this was great. Not tooooo strong and if tastes pretty good if you mix it with the orange juice. Fresh orange juice: 10/10 so tangy and delicious. I can't recommend it enough. Patatas bravas: 9/10 solid no complaints! Dessert Tapas: - bread dessert (Tarija): 11/10 amazing dessert that is creamy, cameralized, and has a mochi like texture. This fried chewy dessert is not too sweet and such an affordable price. - coconut pudding 9/10 solid and refreshing if you like flan - bread, chocolate oil, salt 7/10: I live the complex flavors. The chocolate mousse was light and the bread to mousse ratio was perfect. It's a smaller dessert tho I wouldn't recommend it if ur sharing. Service: amazing! The feta cheese was absolutely disgusting, it tasted like imitation rubber cheese. - The "Al Ajillo" Style Shrimps (GAMBES AMB ALLADA) had a very strange flavor within it, which overwhelmed the garlic flavors. - The Beef Tenderloin (FILET VEDELLA), she had to spit 1/4 of it out because it was too tough. - Everything was overpriced there for the value. The foie gras was absolutely unforgettable--rich, delicate, and simply to die for. The sangria was equally exceptional, fresh, balanced, and dangerously delicious. Well, the restaurant was cute and cozy with a great ambiance. With luck on our side, we found two seats at the bar and quickly ordered drinks. We ordered a pitcher of the sangria (because why not?). The sangria was delicious, refreshing, and made to order. It was definitely more authentic than what we're getting in America. We ordered the patatas bravas, tempura asparagus, the octopus, and the steak. It all came out as it became available. We couldn't decide what our favorite was, to be honest. We ordered an ice cream sandwich for dessert and quickly requested our bill. We didn't want to hold the staff up as we noticed they were cleaning the establishment and people were finishing up. Overall, what a great experience for our first meal in Barcelona! Cute and hidden gem.

Taverna El Glop wraps you up in its warm, lively atmosphere the second you walk in. We were a group of four, and from start to finish, we had an awesome time. The open kitchen is a great touch -- you can watch the chef in action, which adds to the energy and makes the whole experience feel more connected and authentic. We shared a bunch of dishes, and everything was on point. The paella was rich and delicious -- exactly what we came for. The patatas bravas were crispy, creamy, and gone in seconds, and the shishito peppers were the perfect salty, snacky starter. Of course, we had to get a pitcher of sangria (okay, maybe two), which was fruity, refreshing, and just strong enough to keep things festive. The space itself has this great, rustic charm -- complete with checkered tablecloths and even an old cigarette machine near the bar (haven't seen one of those since I was a kid -- aren't those banned in the U.S. now?). I don't smoke -- smoking sucks -- but it added a bit of unexpected nostalgia and character. Service was excellent. I always make a point to be friendly, ask people their names, and introduce myself -- and that's usually met with warmth. It definitely was here. The staff were quick, kind, and seemed to enjoy the place as much as we did. Personally, I loved it. It's the kind of place you remember -- not because it's fancy or trendy, but because it's fun, flavorful, and full of heart. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
