Sudbury Seamless Gutters were great to work with from start to finish. We got a quick response and estimate from Joe, the owner. We wanted the gutters cleaned and leaf protective covers installed. The cost was fairly priced and the work excellent. We ended up needing one gutter adjusted and one replaced as well. Everything was neat and clean when they left and the guys were nice and seemed to really know what they were doing - thanks Will and James! Joe came by after to make sure all was set and we were happy. I also like the fact that we supported a local family business instead of the big national conglomerates always advertising on TV. I've had no problem getting in touch, both 15 years ago when we first worked with this company and recently when I reached out to work with them again on a home addition. I hired this business back in October, paid a deposit, and never heard back from them. They don't reply to emails and calls. Their office was closed when I went to see them. They promised to get the materials within 2-3 weeks. I would understand about delays due to the pandemic, but they never replied to me at all. Very unprofessional. Not credible at all. read more

They were highly responsive to returning to adjust a few small details once it rained. We chose them because of their thoughtful approach to assessing how our old gutters were designed and how the layout could be improved to maximize efficiency and drainage. It takes a lot to get someone to write a review of a gutter company, right? Well, in this case the company deserves a really positive Yelp. I've used Sudbury Seamless Gutters at two of my own properties, and both times I've been incredibly impressed at how much the owner (Joseph) cares about the quality of the job they do. On my last house I had a major water management problem - and had to use a sump pump. I finally called in this company to see if the gutters could be improved upon. I had gutters in place - why weren't they working? Joe and his crew came in and repitched them all so they actually WORKED. Two things - the next pouring rain day, I saw Joe in a yellow slicker in my front yard. He had come to check up on how they were working. Impressive, right? Oh, and I lived there another three years and my sump pump was never needed again. I call that a gutter win. They just finished work at our new place yesterday. They work fast and neat and the job is beautiful. I needed some new gutters, repitching, and drip edge installed in areas because rain off the roof was not making it into the gutters but was instead running down between the soffit and gutters. It POURED this morning - buckets. And the gutters performed perfectly (this time it was me out in the pouring rain in a yellow slicker!). I'm a real estate broker so I know properly installed gutters can be a blessing or a curse. I also see that often people think this is something anyone can install. But it takes someone who really knows water management to get it right. I think they are a family-owned business - all my interactions with people from the office to the field have been great. PS - our dog's favorite toy had been stuck on a flat roof for months. Without even asking us, they retrieved the toy for her - even though it actually wasn't an area of roof they really had to go up on. Sweet, right? read more

I have an old house (circa 1905) and needed a gutter installed to prevent water from icing my steps in the winter. Joe came by the same day I called to give me a quote. He explained exactly how they would attach the gutter (it involved carpentry) and how it would look. Two weeks later, Joe and his team came and installed the gutter in a matter of just a few hours. It fits beautifully with the look of my house. Joe and his team also cleaned and tested my other existing gutters to make sure the system is working properly. I called for an estimate in November of last year to install a gutter on one side of our garage, and also to move some gutter guards from the back gutter of our house (second story) to the front (first story). They were prompt and left an estimate in my mailbox within a week. But after that their response was horrible. I called and left a message that I accept their proposal. But I wanted to make sure they got my message. I called a couple of times during business hours and it went into voicemail. I left a message for someone to get back to me to confirm. Nobody did. I finally got a live person. She confirmed they got my message and that I'm on the schedule. She said their jobs are about a month out and someone will call me a week before they do the work. A month later after not hearing anything, I called to make sure they weren't going to come the same day another company was fixing our roof because it was the same space. Again it went into voicemail during business hours. I tried a few more times; same thing. Their voicemail message mentioned an email address, so I sent an email message. No response. It's now five months later. They never came to do the work and never responded to any of my messages. Fortunately I hadn't paid them anything (the proposal said to pay when work was completed). If for some reason they never got my original message that I accepted their proposal, I can understand them never coming. But their office assistant confirmed I was on the schedule. It's so odd that they just never showed. I guess I'll make the same assumption as a previous reviewer: if your job isn't big enough, they just drop you. read more

Sudbury Seamless installed our gutters, and we've been very pleased with the product. Their installers did an efficient, professional job. And that's where it ended. Despite the fact that I booked them to clean the gutters on two separate occasions - first in August, and then again a couple months ago - there is absolutely no follow-up on their part. Each time, I've gotten quotes for the cost and promises that they'll do the job when they're in the area. I just gave up in August but I really needed the work done by the fall. I have made repeated calls to them, and early on received assurances that we weren't' forgotten. My e-mail attempts yield nothing; there's apparently a glitch on their website and the e-mails don't go through. I'm pretty loyal to local contractors and businesses and prefer to stick with companies that do good work. But when they drop you like a hot potato because the job isn't big enough - my assumption - it forces me to look elsewhere. I have recommended this company in the past, but I will not be doing so again. read more

Wow, do these folks know about gutters and the ways of water. They're knowledgeable, enthusiastic, energetic, courteous, reasonably priced, and sane. The estimate is detailed and includes a diagram.
