Overall really good expedience. Came her for $7 wing week. New place to try. They have lots of flavor options so we thought we'd stop. Ordered some Cajun tots without the spicy ranch and we got the $9 12 wings bbq and split it. Better deal than the $7 wings. The Cajun tots came out super quick. They were good. Not spicy but a bit of zest. We got them with plain ranch. They were good. I'd get them again. The wings came out shortly after. They were pretty big and meaty. Had a decent crunch to them both drums and flats. The bbq sauce was more on the sweet side. Overall they weee good! I'd also get these again. Place is big. Typical sports bar with large bar area and TV's. They had a fair number of people. Server was very nice. She checked on us multiple times. We sat in a booth and it was very dark. I have been here several times with my boyfriend, we like to come watch playoff games here. They have a great black bean burger they make in house and are happy to make vegan with a couple mods. We were seated right away. Place was update inside - industrial, open space with garage doors. They were out of Labatts on tap, which was one of the specials, but they made it right for us. I can't believe I haven't reviewed Suds yet I've been coming here since they (re) opened, and I also hosted my 20-year high school reunion in their party room. We typically come here once a week in the fall, on Friday nights after the high school football game. The atmosphere is fun and laid-back. The staff is attentive and there's also trivia on Monday nights. My favorite things on the menu are the steak cigars appetizer and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The steak cigars are basically and fried steak and cheese roll up and they're served with a creamy horseradish dipping sauce. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is a generous portion and is fried to perfection and is served with sweet pickles and Duke's mayonnaise. My husband loves the sweet and spicy pizza, which has jalapeños, pepperoni, and pineapples on it. For our reunion we worked with Jimmy and everything went off without a hitch. The private room was the perfect size for our group and has its own bathrooms and bar. We had plenty of food and the staff was great with dealing with all of our classmates. I highly recommend Suds! Here we are back at the good ole Suds. Old watering hole for my grandpa Paul at the old location. I'm BFFs with Kenny so it's a little biased but this is plain & simple the best bar in the world bc I go there. Nice outdoor seating but it's a blast furnace today and even I need the AC. there's a big cemetery next door. They should put up a fence bc they're dying to get in there. Big place gets crowded at the crowded times. The bar I mean. The cemetery is a ghost town lolz. The pizza is really kick ass. This review may be full of bs HA but not about that. Today the sriracha ranch chicken pie. It's a medium thin crust piping hot and made with love they always say. Pepperoni pie is great too it never fails. It's the great crust here that really makes a difference. The best in town. I recently attended a private event here. So first, they have a nice private room with a full bar. The space was quite large and pretty open. Our menu consisted of a variety of appetizers including pizza, boneless wings, salad, spinach and artichoke dip and maybe something I'm missing. It was pretty tasty bar food. We were gonna have a few drinks before ordering some food to go we tell her. We have to pick up daughter from dance at 9:30. We had a couple rounds and friends stopped over at 8:30 and told Sam we needed to order some food. She said ok and she proceeded to clean some tables. Didn't see her for another 20 minutes. We wanted something really casual and easy for our wedding rehearsal dinner and after dining there a few times, we decided Suds Maguires would be perfect. We worked with Jason to arrange the details and he was so awesome. We had a pretty large group- about 35 people- but he allowed us to order off the menu. The private room is great- plenty of space, private restrooms, separate bar. I wish I could remember the other guy who was helping to take orders and tend bar. They worked so hard to make sure our party went smooth. You wouldn't believe it was just 2 people doing all of it, but all of our guests were very happy. They had some appetizers hot and ready when we arrived and our food order (remember, 35 oFF THE MENU orders!) did not take long at all. I recommend Suds for not only your fun, casual dining experience, but also for parties and events! They have so many options on how to arrange the menu, the bar, the room. I'm heartbroken to leave a bad review for one of my favorite spots; I grew up going to the original Suds & loved bar bowling there as a kid! The original closed when I was in high school & I was thrilled when the new location opened a few years ago; we enjoy the patio & eat there regularly! In late '18, we chose Suds for our class reunion. It was a success & we enjoyed supporting the business! Due to only good experiences at Suds, we decided to host my 40th birthday there in Jan '20. I met the manager (the same one I'd worked with on the reunion) in June '19 & paid the $100 deposit for the party room in July. I got a receipt for the deposit, but no other paperwork. Because my reunion had been equally informal, I didn't question it. At that time, there was no fee for the room - we just had a minimum spend of $650, which the manager said wouldn't be an issue - & then the $100 deposit would apply to the final bill. I mistakenly assumed the cost for the party room had not changed. In Oct '19, I called to confirm a start time for my party & learned the manager was no longer working there. I contacted the new manager & everything seemed ok; my date was on the books & we would finalize the menu later. Despite knowing I'd booked with the other manager, there was no mention of policies or fees for the room during any of the calls prior to the party. My party began fine. The room wasn't really clean, but we wiped down the dirty chairs, rearranged tables & decorated the space. I'll admit my turnout exceeded expectations. Many people arrived with no RSVP - but I'd been assured the kitchen would be able to add food as needed - & they did. There was a delay on plates & utensils provided by the bar, but generally the food situation was ok. The bar line was long in the party room all night, so guests were going to the main bar where there were more bartenders & fewer patrons. Instead of being served, my guests were told they had to order in the room. This was not the case during the reunion, so I asked a bartender about it. She said all party sales are subject to a 20% service fee & that is why we had to order in the room. I was shocked & went to ask the manager (who was also our party bartender) about the fee. She basically said, yes, that is the policy. I asked her to show me where I had signed & agreed to this automatic service fee - knowing that I hadn't signed anything. She then called the owner... I explained to him that I'd booked with the former manager & was unaware of the fee. I expected him to be professional. Unfortunately, that was not the case. He essentially told me I was lying & there was no way his manager wouldn't have made me aware of & charged the 20% at a past event. The class reunion had been a 'wristband' event with open bar & food for a set period of time, so we collected cash at the door & paid at the end. Had there been a 20% fee added, we would have been short money & we were not. As it was explained, the 20% would be added to the "main" tab in the room. My family & I were paying for the food and 1st round of drinks for the room. After that, guests were starting their own tabs. To be clear, I was NOT trying to avoid tipping on our final bill; I was just terrified that in addition to the hundreds of dollars of food & nearly 100 drinks, we would be charged 20% of everything ordered in the room! With 100+ guests drinking, it would have been well beyond what we had planned on spending. I was upset & asked why this wasn't explained &/or printed in a contract. He said that no other customer had ever questioned it. The owner was very abrasive in his words & tone. As a customer, I can't ever recall being spoken to like this by an owner or employee of a business. At one point he even threatened to call the police because he said I was refusing to pay! I never refused to pay; I was just unaware of & shocked to learn of the fee half way through a large, expensive party! We ultimately paid 20% on the main tab (fair, standard gratuity) & then each guest was charged 20% on their individual tabs. After this was settled with the owner on the phone, I attempted to explain to guests that 20% gratuity was being added to all checks, so additional tipping wasn't necessary. I was visibly upset & it was very awkward to explain the mess to friends & family. It was not at all how I wanted to spend a good part of my milestone birthday. On a cold January night, my party brought 100+ people into an otherwise nearly empty bar to eat & drink for hours. And instead of appreciating the business, the owner threatened to call the police when I questioned his undocumented policies. If you decide to have your party at Suds despite my experience, I urge you to please disregard their casual & informal business approach & insist on a detailed contract for your own knowledge, budgeting & protection. read more

they pass on their credit card costs to you. I have been there multiple times and I pay cash. no one has ever refunded the service charge to me. I call that dishonest.
