I have used this car wash before and was very pleased, but yesterday was a major disappointment. You could barely tell my car had been washed. The windshield was not cleaned and the rear end looked like someone had taken a dry brush to it and then only on the two ends. See for yourself. This recently opened car wash replaced the late great Sea Galley on C Street. We have a monthly membership that allows us to visit pretty much when we want. According to my spouse it was a deal he couldn't pass up. Since there is a separate line for memberships, lines move rather quickly. There are two wash "experiences," mountain and ocean. I believe the difference is in the lighting possibly? I have only done the mountain wash thus far. The amazing thing about this wash is towels to dry your car off as well as vacuums are free to use here. Lastly, our car is always super clean and spotless when we leave here. No issues. read more

The powerful car wash cleaned my car, and even bent my license plate a little, but the car looks great and I really liked the vacuum stations with all the different attachments and a high pressure air spigot to get into those hard to reach areas. They had a monthly subscription so all I did was pull up to the machine and it automatically scanned the barcode sticker that was placed on the window otherwise you just pay by cash?/credit. I didn't have a problem with it scanning the barcode but I can imagine it being finicky if you're not directly under the spot it registers to scan. There is a screen prompt that will tell you to drive up until you are on the conveyer belt in which you will then put your car on neutral and it takes you through the wash. I think it was a bit aggressive to which it knocked one of the side mirrors inwards so fold those babies in before sliding through if you're worried. The car was pretty clean as it had accumulated quite a lot of dirt so I was satisfied but unless you're handwashing, the tire area is never cleaned well. They provide free vacuums and clean towels to use, you just have to go to the small building down the vacuum strip to grab the clean towels. Overall, great experience but quite busy! read more

The attendant guided me in and my van being low due to handicap accessible stuff, caught the trim on the guide rail. The attendant did not stop me and it broke the fairing. Management will not repair. The manager on duty at the time admitted the rails are different than the Anchorage wash and they are scheduled to be replaced. Cancelled my membership. Manager who responded said I didn't follow the attendants direction...but, THE ATTENDANT IS HOLDING A STOP/GO SIGN IN HIS HAND AND IS LOOKING RIGHT AT MY WHEEL...COULD HAVE STOPPED ME. The quality of the wash at this new car wash is horrible. The brushes completely missed the back of my 4runner. There was also a 4" wide strip from the middle of my hood all the way to my windshield. When asked if I could go back through, she said it's my truck style that prevents the brushes from doing a complete job. So I drove down to the other location (froemerly the Pink Elephant) and still a horrible job there too as now that location is installing the same brushes at that location. Looks like it's either a Lazer wash or by hand. At least the Do It Yourself Wash in Mountain view it'll come out much cleaner and abiut the same price but it'll take longer. Oh well. So much for the new car wash in town being a great wash. I would never go back there again!! read more

I went to this car wash and the attendant said the best deal they have is $10 car washes for 30 days. I just have to put a sticker in my window. I told him I am only in Anchorage for a week and that this would probably be my only wash. He said no problem and took my credit card and did the transaction. He neglected to tell me I was signing up for a recurring charge of $66.99 each month. I live 300 miles from Anchorage and would have no reason to sign up for this service. When I contacted the company, they said they will not do a refund but will cancel future charges. This was such a scam for such a big company. This is the third time I have used this car wash, twice with a pickup and once with an SUV. It simply does not clean the back of my vehicles. I even went through twice today with the most expensive package $25 but it is still horribly dirty. Eagle river has a person using a pressure washer but the one in Anchorage doesn't. It doesn't even look like the brushes hardly touched the back except the side edges of tailgate and about 8 inches on the tailgate itself. It cleans the sides and front fine, just not the tailgate. Instead, I got a pushy sales pitch, poor customer service, and a truck that's still dirty. Told the staff three times I wasn't interested in the monthly membership. They kept pushing. That's not customer service -- that's pressure. The wash itself? Terrible. Dirt still on the tailgate, along the lower panels, and the wheels were barely touched. For a brand-new "hybrid tunnel" with soft cloth and high-pressure systems, it performed worse than some old gas station washes I've used. If you're going to claim convenience and consistency, you have to actually deliver. This was a waste of time and money. I won't be back. read more

Horrible service and there isn't clear direction of how to proceed in this car wash as it's different than most. It was actually very stressful as they just told me to put my car in neutral as I got in line to enter the car wash however a car hit me from behind during it and they even had to stop the car wash during service because my car went off the little rail part and hit one of the brushes. Zero directions, just staff screaming to get drivers' attention and repeating the same instructions of keeping my car in neutral when it was still causing problems. And they were not kind.
