I had to come make a review, my husband and I didn't have an opportunity to figure out dinner until it was already fairly late, we are staying in Port Aransas, and when we looked on DD to order delivery, nothing in the area was even open, we had a busy day, we are out of town, and hoped to order something healthy vs hitting a drive thru. Hubs tried U.E. And found Sufi Kabob. We are relative newbies when it comes to Indian, Middle Eastern cuisine, he's only had tandoori chicken and I've made my way around butter chicken and tikka masala lol, I know we are very limited in our experience for sure. He found tandoori chicken and order his "usual" and i studied the menu and finally settled on Chicken Shawarma. All I can say is I hurt myself eating wayyyy past the point of full My meal was outstanding! Let me start with your fragrant, beautifully prepared rice! The flavor is 10/10, and so stunning to look at, the vegetables and fluffy white rice were perfectly seasoned and honestly I could have eaten just that, but then there is a very flavorful small side salad in my box too, I'm telling you, the salad was so good it did not need dressing, lettuce, small diced cucumber, tomato, and onion. The chicken shawarma was absolutely delightful. Here's what's funny, I was worried that wed be lucky to even get a hot meal due to the time we ordered being closing, I was WRONG. My chicken was moist and the fragrant spices made it so good, if you have ever seen the movie "What About Bob" the scene when he's eating dinner at his doctors lake house... All the "MMMMMM's" and groaning due to deep appreciation for how delightful the food tasted... yeah, that was me! I do not know how I am going to survive going back home 7 hours from here and not having access to your delectable dishes! Now my husband dug into his tandoori chicken like a cave man, I'm still giggling, he's a rather reserved man, very polite and has good table manners, but he did not bother with a fork and knife to eat the leg quarters. I was over there saying "oh my gosh this is good" and sort of focused on my out of body experience when I noticed him holding the entire leg quarter and chewing with his eyes closed, he was almost done with his first piece of chicken when I asked if he'd tried the rice or any of the sauces yet, he just shook his head "no" and continued to eat the chicken off the bone, and I decided to mind my business. Oh my, we also got Hummus and naan, so good, I didn't have enough room to eat much so that will be lunch tomorrow, but it was wonderful. So thank you to the kitchen staff that prepared our food, thank you to the staff that packed it up so nicely, even writing the contents of each container on top, and thank you to the owners for being open late enough for us to have a much needed dinner, you are definitely on our must visit from now on when we are in beautiful Corpus Christi! read more

We ordered delivery from here, so I can't speak to the ambiance of the place. The tzatziki and garlic sauce were good. The salads that came with the platters were nice and flavorful. The paneer chunks were disappointingly large and dry on the inside, lacking the expected burst of flavors that come with smaller, well-seasoned pieces. The creamy chicken was decent but not something I would order again. I felt that with the buy one get one free offer, the meat portion was noticeably scarce, and there was an overwhelming amount of plain rice. A touch of cumin or some light seasoning to the rice could have elevated the dish. I don't feel the flavor of the chicken or paneer was strong enough to be able to serve it with plain rice. The grilled onions in one of our platters were raw. Overall, I was not impressed with the entrees. What I would highly recommend here is the baklava and Kashmiri tea. If you are a tea drinker, the Kashmiri tea is a must. read more

If you want cheap food, this is the place for you as all three of us had a total bill of $35.99. Staff is okay.. 3 fairly heavy eaters were able to eat off of a samosa order and the combination lamb beef and chicken plate and are almost full. BUT, she asked how I would like my beef and lamb cooked and I responded with MEDIUM and it was far past medium -- very dry and hard to cut. The naan bread I must have been absolutely smothered in butter and was a little blonde for my taste -- samosas too as the dough was raw in the thick spots. Wouldn't return again. read more

This was my first time sampling Mediterranean cuisine in Corpus. The restaurant offered an open seating area with plenty of room to navigate. The lamb wrap was superb. The meat was tender, the diced vegetables fresh, and it was dressed with a white sauce that tied the two together. I added the red sauce, for heat, and it opened the sinuses. The side was fries. They were warm, crispy outside, and light and fluffy. All in all, the food was great, the service was fine, and they offer a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Food had 3 white hairs, on each consecutive bite in a row, restaurant didn't have Air conditioning on, drink machine is inoperable, no napkins available anywhere, portions of food has changed quite a bit since 2020. Love this place. Food is amazing, prices suck. That's unavoidable though and somewhat justified because you're paying for authenticity. And it's worth it. People are pretty cool too! I have zero complaints about the food. If you enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine you'll like everything here. If it's your first time, play it safe and get a Chicken Shawarma and a Baklava, you'll like it and will venture into the menu deeper. My personal favorites are the Sufi Trio (Beef/Chicken/Lamb). You'll get a good amount of food so at least you won't feel like it wasn't a value. It does come with a f*ck ton of rice though (more than I usually like). And of course any of the desserts. Get anything, you can't go wrong. Kulfi, Baklava, it don't matter, you'll like it all. Only downside, it can take a long time to get your food (depending on the time of day). If you're eating there, its not super nice. You're basically packed into a counter space area with a few tables. I like to get it to go. I think of Sufi as a hidden gem in CC. read more

It was fortunate that we couldn't find anything open on Easter Sunday and that Sufi Kabob was in the middle of their soft opening. We saw the "Open" sign lit up and decided to try it. OMG!! Am I ever glad we did! They have seating inside and out. The inside is brightly lit, open, and you can watch them make your meal right there. They have glass-front cases with your choices of different meat kabobs, falafels, samosas, and sweet treats, too. We ordered a chicken gyro and a beef gyro. The nice lady told us it might be a bit of a wait (again, soft opening), but we didn't mind. While we were waiting though, they brought us some complimentary garlic naan bread to try. WOW!!! It's deliciously fresh, flaky and loaded with tasty olive oil, garlic and cilantro! I'd be happy with just a dozen of those! Our gyros arrived and they are HUGE! I got to taste the chicken gyro and it was so flavorful! The chicken is moist, lettuce, tomato and cucumber fresh and the yogurt dressing is the perfect compliment. The same held true with the beef gyro. The meat was so tender and tasty! Each of these would make a stand out dinner. We were here for lunch and left so full we probably won't need dinner! The service is very friendly. They even let me watch them slap some naan into their special tandoor oven! Great to know everything they make is on-the-spot fresh. I ordered the beef gyro, small side salad, and mixed patisseries. I should have taken a photo but I ate it all too fast. Ha! The salad was so fresh - way exceeded my expectations. The beef gyro was on point and the wrap was freshly made. I have no idea what exactly was included in the mixed patisseries but they were delicious! My order was hot when it arrived and the fries were actually still crispy. Ordered the chicken kabob as I have 10 times before. The seasoning was the same but I ended up having to call in and talk to the manager because the meat itself was very different than I remembered. The manager said they are now using chicken thighs for the kabob instead of breast as they cannot find breast meat.... I do not eat dark meat and cannot find anywhere where they say they started using thighs instead of breast.... The manager did not offer a refund. Unfortunate.........
