I love this place! Even more importantly, my 8-year-old son loved it too. He couldn't stop talking about how good it all was. The naan, the hummus, the lamb, chicken, beef, rice, and the desserts. He said this is his new favorite restaurant in town. My husband and I loved it all too! I wish I could bring a truckload of the garlic naan and hummus home. The staff are so nice and so helpful. Ordered two lamb wraps, lamb was extremely tough. We don't complain often let alone drive back to ask for a refund but when explained to the staff they had to call a manager to request a refund and when doing so they told the manager the wrap was already half eaten (the hardly touched wrap below) and so we could not be credited. When I asked for a managers email so I could reach out they could not provide any contacts and said I could call another day and ask to talk to one. And the hummus is some of the best ive ever had. I only took off a star because they mixed up our order on one of our deliveries (sent us kabob platter instead of shawarma platter). The people who were eating it do not like sauce and the order arrived covered in it so they didn't get to eat that night. The only kabobs I liked were the chicken and the beef koftas. Very flavorful. The other kabobs (beef as well as the lamb) were, although flavorful, kind of mushy. While it may be supposed to be like that at this place, it just isn't for me. I also tried the chicken shawarma, and I wasn't a fan. I've had plenty of shawarma in the past (in the Toronto area), and this was by far my least favorite. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it wasn't tender. I wouldn't say necessarily dry, but compared to what I've had in the past, it would be considered dry. Perhaps it's been sitting out and rotating too long? I don't know. Personally, I'm going to stick with the garlic naan (though I like my naan puffier - perhaps the regular naan is?), and the koftas. I may give the gyro a try as well. The rice was amazing and that was the only redeeming thing about my meal. My family also ordered naan (which was EXTREMELY burnt). After the food was delivered i saw how burnt my meal was as well as my son (husbands meal wasnt burnt) i called the restaurant and asked if they would re cook my meal and send it back out to which the guy who answered the phone said no. They didnt even bother to offer a refUnd for the burnt dishes. I had to drive to them, they re cooked the food but it was still burned and at that point i just didnt want to keep sending it back. So i basically got full on rice and threw all the meat away. My meal cost 19.99 not including tax. I will not return to this place or order anything from them again.
