These guys are the best! On your FIRST trip in, they will explain the offers to you. I usually get the Pick-2 with regular rice. It's delicious and they usually have about 6 entrées to choose from. Ive been here a few times and have had 6 to 8 different dishes of which all have been delicious! They have a small dining room that is clean and comfortable enough. I believe there is one, maybe two big tables that can seat up to 6 people. Parking is on the side of the building or on the street. The only complaint was the mango lemonade the last trip. It was plain lemonade so... They have to go containers and stuff A LOT of food into them. They are NOT stingy lol!! Definitely recommend if anywhere in reasonable driving distance! read more

Z Does It AGAIN!!! I've eaten at Spice Station many times but somehow had not tried the Loaded Fries but today was the day to break that streak and super break/ take a pause in my diet. WoW am I glad I did it and tried the fries. That are better than I could describe in words. I mean who doesn't love cheese fries, but then you add that 65 Spicy Chicken and sauce and whatever other golden trick ingredients Z adds to the mix and you can this magical perfect creation. SooooooooO good. Can't wait to have them again and bring back friends and family for this new creation. Of course the service and ambience are always on point. Bonus points for seeing a Cyber Truck parked in the parking lot. I have sen them on the road driving but have never seen one that up close and personal before. Spice Station always delivers. I've been here twice and really, I think this place is great. My first visit they're spicy sense total them I was new and they provided a few small bites of additional menu it's to break me in. The staff has been very pleasant both visits. Today was spicy rice, Coconut Peanut chicken, Ginger chicken and Chicken 65. With a samosa on the side. Rice was light and delicious of course a bit spicy but not a taste bud killer. Ginger chicken was warming and creamy. The coconut peanut chicken is more soothing similar in taste to a korma. The chicken 65 sweet a light crisp and spicy enough to make a little sweat appear on your brow. Of course spice in the way of heat will vary by the eater but for my not as was said at a different restaurant "Indian hot". Even that varies between North and south India. Overall the understates location holds a great experience for a authentic home style Indian dinner priced to feed a family at reasonable value. During a recent trip to South Texas, I was able to stop by and sample some of the foods at Spice Station in Kingsville. It was very impressive! I live in the Silicon Valley. We have quite a few authentic Indian and Pakistani (or Indio-Pakistani) restaurants. One of my favorites is Zareen's -- a Michelin-rated restaurant -- located in Palo Alto and just off of Google's main campus. People travel great distances to eat there (and rightfully so). This is why it receives so much international attention. When I sampled the choices at Spice Station, my mind immediately drew comparisons with Zareen's. It is wonderfully delicious! It's presented in a way that is very relatable to individuals who may not be quite so knowledgeable or comfortable with the diversity or wide spice and flavor palate associated with Indian or Pakistani cuisine. Best of all, this food was surprisingly affordable! I suppose that I am used to California prices; however, I also thought about the prices for food in the town of Kingsville. Food of this quality is usually found in more expensive restaurants or fusion-food establishments. There is a reason why so many people celebrate this place. The restaurant is quaint and clean. The staff is exceptionally helpful. The menu is diverse. The food is exquisite. It really is worth a visit. Despite the large number of Indian and Pakistani restaurants in the Bay Area, I would love to see one of these open near us. Five enthusiastic stars! read more

This spot was recommended many times as the go-to for good Indian food. The spot is a small house-conversion that provides a cozy feeling while not being crowded. The owners/staff are extremely friendly and will let you have a taste of anything, which is really nice, especially if it is your first time there. Be warned, though, the food lives up to the name. Everything does have some level of spice to it. The peanut coconut chicken was absolutely delicious and the rice was beautifully fluffy. Overhyped. Super salty and mushy. Naan is dry and almost stale. Overpriced and small portions.

Drove 80 mile round trip to try this place out after checking the reviews. It's definitely not 5 stars by a long shot. Mediocre at best, then again I have been spoiled with some genuine Indian cuisine while living in San Antonio (Biryani Pot for instance). The saag paneer and meatball curry were probably the most decent, but the butter chicken was bland and watery -- quite disappointing. We also had the chicken 64 which was another one that while toned down and generic wasn't bad. We also had samosas and egg rolls which were ok, but the dipping sauces were meh. The basmati rice was standard but the naan were not authentic and seemed more of a dense spongy bread (likely from too much baking soda/powder) rather than light, airy, bubbly naan with a fast rise at high temps. Over all, disappointed but I still thank God we have food to eat. May He continue to bless us in these dark times. read more

Wow! A great experience at this restaurant! Went through the drive thru and told them first time there and what they recommended. The lady asked one of the owners and he invited me to come in to try some samples. I took the invitation and the younger owner served me 4 different kinds of their chicken. I chose two different chicken dishes with a regular and spicy rice. The food was fantastic, full of Indian spices; I had their chicken & spinach and their spicy 65 chicken. I also ordered naan bread, very buttery and garlic taste. I didn't finish the meal because of all the big pieces of chicken. This food is also good leftover, warmed in a microwave. This place is great! We got sample many of the 10 items you can choose from for your meal. It was all good and it was hard to choose. It's casual and the proprietor is so friendly, making you feel welcome and appreciated. All the food is "made with love" and the portions are big.
