Craving for a sweet treat?definitely need to check Miya Bowls out..They're located in Wahiawa right next to Teapresso, my kids & I love to come here! Awesome service & you can create your own bowl & you can pick from 2 different sizes a small or a large. You get to choose up to 3 bases, theirs 4 fruits you can choose from & you can choose your toppings & drizzles. My personal favorite is the blue majik with strawberries, bananas & blue berries with granola & chia seeds & with a honey drizzle & Nutella! Theirs tables inside where you can sit down & eat your bowl!

Tucked away in the small town of Wahiawa, Mia Bella Gelato Bar is the kind of sweet local spot that feels like a well-earned reward after a hot day outdoors. After a long day of fishing, my son and his friends absolutely enjoyed stopping in for ice cream it was the perfect cool-down treat. The gelato is rich, creamy and refreshing and there's a nice variety of flavors to choose from so everyone can find something they like. What really stands out is the relaxed, friendly small-town vibe. It's not rushed or overly commercial just a simple, welcoming place where you can sit back, enjoy your dessert and soak in the moment. Overall, it's a great local gem in Wahiawa and definitely worth a visit if you're craving something cold and satisfying after a warm Hawaii day.

Its been a minute since ive been here and again I love gelato, I just always forget that I can just come to Wahiawa for it. Im not the type to eat all kinds of flavors and really just love the Kona Coffee. Upon entering I was greeted by a nice young gentleman. I knew what I wanted, kona coffee. The pan literally was empty so I was so sad, there was like less than half a scoop left in there and I asked if I could just have that, I just wanted my fix, lol. Me thinking it was going in the smallest cup they had because again it was pretty much empty. He than told me "Oh do you mind if I just put it in this med cup?" Umm, I guess, Im not sure why, but I didnt ask questions. I than asked him if I could get a waffle cone, he told me "Uhhh I dont think it will fit" again there wasnt a full scoop left. I told him I didnt mind, I just wanted to eat whatever I was getting with the waffle cone. he did ask if I wanted another flavor as well as checked the freezers if they had more, but they didnt :( so I was bummed, but its okay, gives me another reason to go back. Now, here is what actually took me by surprise tho. 1- I wasnt expecting free, but oh boy, i wasnt expecting to pay $8 for barely a full scoop, lol. I than asked, "wow its $8 and not even a full scoop, lol, but I was gonna pay it anyways" he said "ohhh yea, ummm Ill take off the waffle cone ($1) off for you" ahhh he took something off, so I just paid the $6 and some change. Which is the cost for a 4oz and waffle cone, LOL. But eh, I asked for the little they had so I paid for it:)) I think by him putting in the bigger cup and just literally putting the cone upside down is what it was gonna be for like a 6oz, which i think is what he initially was gonna charge me for. I think I need to start paying attention to the prices on the sign, LOL...

Honestly I don't think this qualifies as gelato as I've been here a few times and the ice cream doesn't have that gelato texture or finish. This is definitely ice cream pretending to be gelato. Overall a cool little spot in Wahiawa. If you're in the area and want some ice cream is a good option. If you're looking for gelato, skip this place.

Been seeing a lot of posts about Miya Bowls so we had to come try it ourselves. I love how you can customize your bowls to your liking. It was so ono and refreshing!!!! Will definitely come back to try their other flavors! Would highly recommend!!!

I love the attentive customer service, modern ambiance, refreshing, and tasty gelato! There's free parking in the lot. Easy to enter and exit via Kilani Ave and side streets. Gelato bar comfortably seats 9 people with access to stools and table or floating countertop bar. Misa was very kind to let me sample the Pineapple Li Hing Mui Sorbetto and Green Tea. Pineapple Li Hing Mui Sorbetto was too tart for my palate. Green Tea tasted like the real deal! Top selling gelatos are Kona Coffee, Honey Yogurt and Ube Cookies & Cream. I ordered medio or two scoops of black sesame and green tea in a waffle cone. I thought the quality and quantity in correlation with the price including tax was worth it. Filled bottom to top. Took a lot longer for gelato to melt. Black sesame tasted fantastic! Yummy for my tummy! Will definitely return when I'm craving for gelato on a hot day!

WOW. This place is an absolute hidden gem! Located next to the Teapresso Bar in Wahiawa, Mia Bella Gelato Bar completely blew me away. The gelato here is the closest thing I've had in the U.S. to what we tasted in Italy (second the Venchi, which they have in NYC)--super creamy, ultra flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. There is a CLEAR difference between Italy Gelato and US ice cream. This one is just like Italy's!!!!! I tried the pistachio, and I can confidently say it's the best pistachio gelato I've had in the states since visiting Italy. Perfectly nutty, rich, and not overly sweet. They don't make the gelato in-house, but it's sourced from a local maker right here on Oʻahu, which makes it even better--it's homemade, just not by Mia Bella themselves. Still, the quality is top-notch. This is officially my new go-to ice cream spot. If you're anywhere near Wahiawa, do yourself a favor and stop by. Service-wise; dont expect much. We went after dinner around 8pm and they had one worker managing Mia Bella AND the Teapresso side. You have to ring a bell to get her to come. There is very little seating inside, but the ice cream was so good it didn't matter.

Love the vibe and how friendly everyone is here. The gelato is very creamy and they have plenty of local favorite flavors. The Mac nut and banana combo was so good! My personal favorite is the dark chocolate with banana.

Do you remember hearing about/seeing on the news that a car drove into the window of a gelato bar in Wahiawa? This place is it. Thankfully, the customers who were injured have physically recovered. But had it not been for that incident, I might not have found out about Mia Bella sooner. This locally owned and well-operated business is deserving of 5-stars and is my new go-to for gelato. They have a tiny shop that offers a couple of tables and counter seating. The customer service is what the standard should be for small businesses. It's friendly, personable, welcoming, and helpful. The employees behind the counter always welcome us right away with a smile and are friendly throughout the entire transaction. They offer samples, so if you're unsure you'll like a flavor or not, ask away! Their owner is so welcoming and also appreciative of the support and patronage of the shop. He talks to us like family or friends that he's known forever. They serve smooth and flavorful gelato, including a flavor that's new to me and has quickly become my favorite. Honey yogurt is simple and sweet. I also enjoy black sesame. Their black sesame has a distinct hint of ginger, more noticeable than other gelato shops. A couple of my family's favorites are cookies and cream and birthday cake. They top your gelato off with a piece of waffle cone. Hope you get to check out Mia Bella. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Dragon fruit with sprinkles holding on for dear life

I came here because I usually go to teaspresso next door and my kids wanted gelato. It had plenty parking and the inside is very cute . There are about 6 seats and the pricing is typical for ice-cream. The service was okay and the girl was friendly. I can honestly say that if you're used to real gelato this is going to throw you off. Immediately I realized when she was scooping we were getting ice cream disguised as gelato . It was actually hard not soft to a point she couldn't scoop it out or get the sprinkles to stick and it melted rather fast. There were many great flavors but my kids all wanted chocolate and they didn't have it available. They still enjoyed the flavors of dragon fruit and strawberry but I can't say I would go back .

I happened to be in Wahiawa and was in desperate need of dessert. I found this gem of a gelato shop near the hospital on Kilani Ave. Thank goodness I found it because if I didn't get my dessert, I might have needed the ER across the street. Lol. It's a nice shop with interesting decorations and parking right in front. They have unique flavors , but I ended up going with 2 staples - coffee and chocolate. Both were delicious! They also have a wide array of toppings like marshmallows and caramel for those that need a little more with their sweet treat. Aside from the delicious gelato, two noteworthy things about this shop. First, the worker was extremely nice, helpful, and sweet. Second, the menu is understandable. It makes it easy to order which I appreciate. I am going to keep this place on my list when heading to the north shore from town or when I'm in Wahiawa for other things.

While I do pass through Wahiawa somewhat regularly, it's not usually at a time when it's convenient to stop for a bite to eat. I was fortunate to have an opportunity recently, and decided to grab dessert here. I have already been back once, and will surely be back again! The workers are very friendly, and the interior is cozy and welcoming. The menu also included steps for ordering, which makes it easy to quickly see the available order sizes, cones, toppings, and sauces. So far I have tried the ube oreo, Hawaii Gianduia (vanilla, chocolate, and macadamia nut), mocha frappe, and chocolate flavors. It's hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to, I think it would go with the ube oreo. I would say that that flavor seems to taste little sweeter than the others though. There are also a bunch of fruity flavors that I am looking forward to trying. Every gelato order comes with a bit of waffle cone crumbles if you'd like them. They also sell other items like macarons in the display case.
