Acai Extravaganza
Courtney G.

Acai bowl was good. Fruit was fresh. Customer service was good, guy working register was super sweet. Disappointed there was no Nutella. Spoons were wood which were kind of weird. Other than that everything was great.

I've only had Lanikai Juice twice and this time I ordered a Açaí extravaganza bowl. So delicious, I ordered the largest bowl they had and it took me half a day to finish, so it could be worth the price. I would go back and order something new to try, I'd also recommend their monkey bowl and pitaya smoothie. The service was good and they worked efficiently, they seem understaffed so try to be patient if it gets busy there.

Took along time to get the bowl. Seemed under staffed. The blueberries were mushy. Good amount for price. The best part was the granola. Location was difficult to find. It's located in the food court upstairs at the NEX.

Short wait times at the NEX Lanikai Juice on a Sunday afternoon. Amazing service and refreshing juices! Anything pineapple. Mic drop! Bar tables and stool were nicely cleaned and not sticky.

Awesome service and drinks! Shoutout to the hardworking young man hustling to get those orders out! Taking orders and making them! I wanted to leave a tip but the screen didn't allow it which is why I'm leaving this review! Got a lanakai splash and tropical bliss! Bomb! Will be returning whenever I'm back! Can I get 11 booms out of ten on the chat?

Dr. Green - medium
Catherine P.

I ordered the Dr. green smoothie in a medium. The smoothie was very sweet and tolerable as a "green" smoothie even my husband tried it. I wasn't sure what to expect but this was really enjoyable. Service was quick and there is ample parking as it is located above the commissary outside the NEX. The choices on their menu and plentiful and they have weekly promotions. This week was 10% off the kale tonic. Lots of seating in the food court inside and outside.

Plethora of bowls, juices and smoothies. I needed an energy boost and inquired about bowls without bananas and chocolates. Five stars for above and beyond, excellent customer service! Owner was very considerate, thoughtful and recommended Berried Treasure without organic cacao nibs. She offered chia seeds in place of organic cacao nibs which I'm very grateful and didn't expect. She disclosed to me that she used a clean and separate cutting board so there's no cross contamination. Berried Treasure in large size fulfilled my appetite. Enjoyed the fresh ingredients. I will take into consideration ordering a Knight Rydah minus organic cacao nibs next time.

Newly opened location at the Navy Exchange (NEX). Located in the food court on the 2nd level just off the escalators. When I'm in town Lanikai is always my go to for Acai Bowls and smoothies. My favorite is always the Extravaganza Bowl because it has all the delicious fresh fruits, crunchy granola and topped with honey. My kids like the Acai Monkey because they enjoy the creamy peanut butter and cocoa nib topping. Definitely a delicious and healthy treat for the whole family. Promotions going on right now, must check it out!

Pitaya Bowl!

I always forget there is a Lanikai Juice in the NEX. The vendors in this food court are always changing so not sure how long they will be here. The staff are super friendly and the juice is good. The pitaya bowls are large and they offer a lot of toppings.

Acai extravaganza bowl and a mini banana bread

I don't know why businesses don't stay in this location at Pearl Harbor Exchange food court. There was a Seattle Coffee which I loved, then another coffee and smoothie place, and now it's a Lanikai Juice. Tried an acai extravaganza. It was ok, everything was fresh, but I can't say as I'm in love with their acai bowl blend. The staff was helpful and I have yet to try the banana bread but it looks onolicious. Hope they can make it in the location!!!

Came in to buy something, walked out with a tasty smoothie bowl. Newly opened in the food court, wanted to try it out. Went with a monkey biz which had banana, protein powder of your choice, almond milk and peanut butter topped with banana, chocolate chips and granola. It was pretty good, it was honestly a smoothie in a cup, wished it was blended more on the thicker side since it was already melting by the time they gave it to me in the counter, asked me if i wanted a cover for it, most likely because it was melting. Service is okay, workers are nice.

Da Classic

Came to check this place out for their acai bowl and it was decent. It's like any acai bowl you'd typically get anywhere else. I got their acai bowl called "Da Classic" because I prefer a simple acai bowl. It was good and the portion size is enough to share. Service was quick and efficient. Ambiance of the place is casual. There's plenty of seating indoors since it's located inside a food court.

Probably the healthiest option at the NEX food-wise. The açaí bowls make a good lunch!

We came here for açaí bowls after reading some yelp reviews. We normally go all the way to…read moreWaikiki's Waffle and Berry for our açaí fix, but living in Aiea makes it so far! We ordered the açaí bowl, (small $12.50 and large $14.50) and also ordered popsicles (10 for $15). Already the price of this was way cheaper than W&B. Liked it! I apologize for the lack of photos of our açaí bowls, but I have a bad habit of digging in right away then realizing that I forgot to take photos when it's half gone. I'll attach photos when I go back...because I most definitely will be back! I think I still prefer the taste W&B açaí, but the açaí here is really good and satisfies the craving! The popsicles on the other hand, were just ok. It was described as large otter pops and while I wouldn't go THAT far, I don't think I'll get those again. Didn't try the juice yet, but the price is pretty high so not sure if I'll get around to it. Especially since the açaí is soooo good!!! I'll probably always get that instead!

I wish I could give this place a 3.5 overall, but the service deserves 0 stars…read more From the moment we walked in, there was zero acknowledgment from the employee. She was watching Tinker Bell on the TV and didn't greet us or even look up - no hello, no smile, just awkward silence. We were the only ones in the store and still had to awkwardly approach the counter just to get help. As first-time customers, there was also no explanation of the scoop sizes or pricing, which made ordering more confusing than it needed to be. When we finally ordered, two items were made correctly, but one person in our group ordered dragonfruit gelato. The employee started scooping strawberry instead, and even after we politely pointed it out, there was no acknowledgment or apology--just silence. It made for a really uncomfortable interaction. While we were eating, the employee went into the back, and we could hear her loudly scrolling on social media with the volume on full blast, even laughing at times. Toward the end of our visit, she came back to the front, sat down, and continued on her phone. The entire atmosphere felt so awkward that we decided to leave and finish our gelato in our cars. Even as we walked out, there was no thank you, no goodbye--no acknowledgment at all. It was honestly disappointing. That said, the gelato itself is actually really good, and the interior of the shop is nice. That's the only reason I'd consider coming back. Unfortunately, the service really brought the experience down. Proper customer service training is definitely needed. I would come back for sure, but I wouldn't return if that same employee was behind the counter.

I usually take out-of-town guests to visit Ulu Mana (after we get fresh fried taro chips from the Hawaiian Chip Company across the street) because HCC gives out coupons for free cookies. I will pick up their ulu beet hummus and have my guests sample the ulu chips. One visit, I ran into a friend who told me the acai bowls were the best in town. I skeptically asked if she had tried all the acai bowls to determine that and she said YES I DID! lol. So of course I had to try one and was hooked! These are damn good acai bowls! Pictured is the PB & Cacao Acai Bowl. Note: They offer you a sample of whatever shortbread cookie they are baking that day. One visit, I got a cookie fresh out of the oven. HEAVENLY! Unfortunately, that spoiled me and "not fresh out of the oven" cookies just don't hit the same. I wish they set a time people could come in to buy fresh out of the oven cookies with milk or something. I would totally stop in for that!

Samples of cookies, as well as their different flavor 'ulu chips were handed out. Can also ordered a box of fresh chips. They suggested calling in beforehand to place an order so that it's ready upon arrival. The chips were thin and crispy. We walked out with a bag of the garlic bits - as good as the regular ones but just not as pretty, as well as a bag of cookies. We'll definitely be back to try a fresh box of chips next time.
