I've literally been craving their acai bowl 3 days in a row and have settled to get it 2 out of the 3 lol. Everything is local and fresh and the price is not bad. The acai bowl is pretty big, there's one size and one type, i love the simplicity haha. I can finish the entire bowl myself for sure. I've also tried their sugarcane juice with lychee and li hing lemonade.. these are my favorite depending on my mood. A drink & Acai comes out to like $22 or something so it's not terrible. It can get really busy and on some days there's only one worker so come prepared with patience :) They also have sorbets which my mom said is really yummy. Not the best place to sit and enjoy, the chairs seem flimsy for this local girl lol. But overall, i really like this place. So happy to find out this establishment has opened a store that more accessible to locals! I got my my favorite drink, sugar cane juice with some lilikoi and a touch of ginger. So I came to SD's to get a friend a drink, that's it. I had already had a venti iced coffee in hand from Starbucks next door so I had no intention of getting a drink for myself. As I walked in, the decor was super cute, it was clean and the staff was very friendly. I watched in amazement how they extracted so much juice from this dry looking stalk of a sugar cane. I start asking questions about the flavors and next thing you know....I'm getting a second drink for myself. Sugarcane with Calamansi lime!! It was refreshing, light, balanced...not too tart, not too sweet..... perfection in a cup. We used to always stop by the Sugah Daddeh's stand at the Pearlridge farmer's market so we were glad to see that they opened up their own shop next to Bed Bath and Beyond in Aiea near Pearlridge (Macy's side). Glad we also have a sugar cane drink spot in Hawaii since I used to only be able to get my sugar cane drink fix in Cali. The owner is really friendly and will walk you through the ordering process if this is your first time here. They have a variety flavors/toppings you can add to your drink as well:). Some of my favorite add ins are the lychee and dragon fruit. My hubby got the special which had pineapple, strawberry, blueberries, and calamansi. Both drinks were refreshing and delicious. The cups are $8/each and the mason jars are $12. They also have gelato in lots of diff flavors, which I'll try next time. It's hard to fine a good sugar cane juice place unless you make time to go to a farmer's market that has one. We found this place on a Sunday afternoon and it was our first time here. We ordered sugar cane juice with calamansi and it was delicious!! The store is very clean and bright, full of colors. It would be very easy to inform me that it would come in a bowl and be charged as an açaí bowl in order to avoid surprises. First had their sugar cane at the Kakaako farmers market and it left such a lasting impression, I had to go to their brick and mortar store! The employees here are so kind! My fav is the sugarcane with calamansi lime. I was tempted to try sugarcane with lychee. Bring your own mason jar for refill discount. I usually can't drink one by myself so I love 1) sharing it 2) bringing it back home and putting a ton of ice to make it taste like flavored water 3) top it off to my sparkling water! This place is absolutely amazing! I get sugar cane juice every time I see it and this place is by far the best. The cane juice is pressed AFTER you order which makes all the difference. Some of the enzymes disappear after the juice sits around for more than 45-60 minutes so fresh is BEST! You can tell they are committed to quality! We also got some of their gelatos too and they were great! This is their second location, their first is in the North Shore. So glad they opened this spot because the location is way more convenient. They also offer more products here and don't have to close when doe has weather because it's a storefront! They are doing 15% for their grand opening! The owner and staff are also super friendly! It was so refreshing and good. Also we ordered the acai bowl that too was good. The drink was pineapple, strawberry, lemon with their sugar cane sugar in it so good. Their acai bowl was with acai, pineapples, strawberry, blueberries, almonds, granola, coconut flakes, bananas, chiya seeds, and drizzle of honey. So filling and so good. Talk to the server and don't know if she is the owner but she said her father has the sugar cane farm in Kahuku and she goes out there to help him but she mainly stay at this store front in pearl ridge next to starbucks and Tamura wine and liquors. It's sort of a hole in the wall but they're products are soooooooo yummy I love all the flavors of the gelatos as well as the sorbets. My fave is the açaí bowl which comes pretty much with everything. The customer service is awesome they really cater to you. After trying them out at the Kaka'ako Farmers Market, I decided to stop by their storefront on my way to check out some beaches on the west side of the island. They weren't busy at all, and so I was able to place my order immediately. I ordered the Guava Sugar Cane juice, and the staff had it ready for me in less than 5 minutes. I love their sugar cane juice and how pure it tastes, and the addition of the guava just added a slight sourness and different type of sweetness that created a very delicious beverage. In hindsight, I shouldn't brought my 32 oz. mason jar that I purchased from them at the Kaka'ako Farmers Market when I tried them the first time, because I think I would've received a slight discount on my order. Regardless, it still came out to a reasonable price, which I'll gladly pay for god sugar cane juice that I can't get on the mainland. There isn't much seating inside - there are some small bar stools and a small table, but I think this place primarily serves to-go customers. With that being said, the interior is somewhat Instagram-friendly with a wall where I can imagine many people taking great photos of their drinks. If you can't visit, be sure to show them love at the Kaka'ako Farmers Market where you can see them grinding sugar canes to order! I used to be a huge fan of Sugah Daddeh's and would recommend them to friends and family all the time, until my last experience that left me never wanting to return back to the Pearlridge location. For starters, this used to be a store next to Tamura's, but now has relocated to a kiosk inside of Pearlridge Mall. It was difficult finding them once they moved, since I didn't see any signage at their old location directing customers to their new kiosk. I finally stumbled across their kiosk by accident, and was so excited to get my cane juice! I stopped by two times on two different days during their operating hours, and both times there was a "Be right back!" sign. I didn't have time to wait for their associate to return, so I left disappointed. Until one day, I FINALLY am able to catch an associate at the kiosk and am excited to get my fill of cane juice. I approached the associate taking my order, who had the most displeased look on her face, and did not bother to greet nor thank me. Her attitude was far from pleasant and she did not care for my being there to make her actually do work at her job. Additionally, she wore long hair, untied as she was making my drinks. I was watching closely to ensure her hair wouldn't get into my drink. This is a food and beverage business, I'd hope to not see any hair in my drink but she did not seem to care. When it came time to pickup my drink, I got handed my drinks, she had the same unpleasant look on her face, and not a simple "thank you" or "goodbye" was said. When was customer service a luxury? And if you're not providing customer service, then how about just showing human decency? To make matters worse, my drink was bitter. I would never leave cane juice behind, but it was so bitter I couldn't finish it. Lesson for me, don't return to this kiosk. If I'm in the area, I'll gladly support Sugah Daddeh's at the Kakaako Farmers Market, but this kiosk has lost my business. read more

They do more than just sugar cane juice. They also have lemonade, tea, and ice cream! Usually one or two people are working the counter. This place gets pretty busy. There are some seats and a table but the chairs are very fragile possibly bamboo?! I feel like I'm gonna break it so I usually just stand and wait for my order. There is quite a few selections for flavors. I ordered the lychee sugar cane juice and the strawberry sugar cane juice. The lychee came with 2-3 pieces of whole lychee and the strawberry drink had chopped up pieces. They were very refreshing and not overly sweet. If you have a kid that goes to the gymboree a few stores down they will give you a discount but I think you need to show proof like the sticker that you usually get when attending a class there. I recommend to give it a try if your in the area. It is a little pricey but at least they were good. read more
