Great food and service. The refried beans are top notch. The chicken quesadilla is super flavorful.

We have been back a few times. Still feeling the same way about the food. Haven't seen any fruit agua frescas lately--hopefully soon since it is Spring. Mangonadas have improved to include size, fruit chunks, and tamarindo sticks. The churros are good. The Tres Leches Cake always seems to be out of stock so haven't been able to try it. Guy that works there always seems to be working hard and is nice.

Had the breakfast burrito with chicken, it was amazing. Service was really good. Woman who took our order was very friendly and polite. The restaurant is very cool. Decorated with so much detail and games on the table which we played while waiting for the food. Not much wait but either way, the wait is worth it. Amazing place 10/10 would definitely try again. Oh and the HOT sauce is actually HOT.

Loved the mangonada, and the mole chicken tacos were great. Nice spot with an smallish but interesting menu.

Amazing food in a small chill restaurant. Highly recommend trying the shrimp! They pay attention to the smallest details when preparing each plate and the staff are very friendly.

Great tacos and enchiladas. Loved the breakfast burrito. Very clean restaurant. Service was outstanding. Good food in Lakewood.

3 taco plate: bland pollo, carne asada & Al pastor tacos with yummy rice and salty AF refried beans.

As a taco lover I was excited to try their tacos, but I wasn't very impressed. I got a variety in a combo with rice, beans and horchata. I had one steak taco with mole, a chicken taco and an Al Pastor (pork with pineapple) and compared to other places, these were all pretty bland. The best of the three was the Al Pastor in my opinion. The pineapple helped give it a nice flavor. I usually love beans when I eat Mexican food too but sadly their beans are outrageously salty ... I don't normally enjoy the rice from mexican restaurants but surprisingly, their rice was the best part of the meal for me and had the most flavor !! Horchata wasn't the best but it was decent. I really wanted the cucumber agua Fresca but they were out. I'm not sure if I would get food here again... it wasn't terrible but it also wasn't great. If I do return at some point though I'd definitely skip the beans and try something different from the tacos.

Delivered hot, flavor packed, and delicious! Ordered loaded nachos Strawberry churro and 2x Eloites corn! Bam!

    Loaded Carne Asada Fries

For the loaded fries were 18$ witch almost seemed really steep till they came out and boy they were packed and more than enough for two, fries where nice and moist and the meat was tender and juicy. The interior of the restaurant was small and quaint but really inviting and overall chill. The portions are well worth the prices and Abraham (the gentleman at the register) was super professional and inviting, man was super out there and chill. Definitely coming back!

You can leave your tab open, which we almost did just try more food! We got three vegan dishes: the vegan nachos, the vegan Cubano, and the Chef Daddy Mac (vegan). Everything was so good! The nachos were a huge serving. There were two of us, and even though we had two more dishes coming, we still ate almost all of them. My friend got the vegan Cubano. She's not a vegan, and she said she really enjoyed it. She would definitely get it again. I got the Chef Daddy Mac. I ended up only taking a bite because we had eaten so much already I brought it home and it served me two more dinners! And it was delicious. I went to the bar and flagged down one of the bartenders to let them know how much I appreciated that they had a vegan menu at their restaurant. I was so pleased with the food and the thoughtfulness that went into the dishes. It wasn't just food without meat, and it wasn't just regular dishes with a meat alternative. These were crafted vegan dishes that can stand up in any restaurant against any animal-based dish. The atmosphere wasn't my vibe. As a Christian, it felt a little odd to be in that environment. The food was so good, though, I can't wait to come back and try more vegan options on the menu.

Want to play some pool? GOOD LUCK! Especially if you're a stereotypical introverted goth that doesn't want to talk to anyone, since the need to ask whomever is currently playing on the sole table, is likely the only way you'll get access. :-p Orrrr maybe your game is strong and you can just stare them into allowing you next? Either way, get the chips and salsa. Just don't eat them on the table, you heathen!! Also..... NO Nickelback, and NO Country!!!

I enjoy Mexican places that feel authentic, feel like a genuine in Korea, and also have the option for you to get some salsa, onions, and radishes, along with limes to go along with your food . I wish they had a little bit more variety to the salsas in terms of taste, complexity, and heat... but I still appreciate that they have this option I have had tacos here, burritos, and other items and I feel like usually they are pretty spot on Although for a Mexican place, this place is extremely expensive. When I do find a Mexican place that meets my needs, I will probably go to that place instead of this place as I think it is ridiculous to charge the amount they are charging for the ingredients that go into Mexican food. Ambiance wise, it looks like a typical Taqueria Nonetheless, I think this is a place that is definitely worth trying

This is the best burrito in all of Tacoma/Lakewood!!! I tell everyone to try them. People don't know what they are missing, because they are just getting pupusas. They use their delicious black beans, their white rice with a few little veg, sour cream, onions, cilantro, you can get really good chile sauce if you want it spicy. The sauce is so good. No cheese... can you believe it? Cheese is not even needed. You can get chicken or carne asada, or like we got, no meat and they will add avocado slices. I really wanted no meat, and platano frito added. This is what we used to get, and it's great. They should add a no meat option to the menu, and also the platano option.
