The wine selection not only wide for local but absolutely amazing. The riesling is honestly my favorite. David the owner was so friendly and the store vibes are cute. Definitely will be returning!

First birthday stop and it set the mood. We started with the wine tasting where you get to taste up to 5 wines. I stayed with the sweet side and tasted the Marquette that was "chef's kiss" delicious. Allison was on staff and she was so nice and knowledgeable about the offerings. She taught us to swirl the wine to open up the grapes for more flavor. I ended with a wine slushy that was the best thing to have on a hot day. A variety of wines...Zinfandel, Cab, Sweet's Fall, Redside Rapid, Rubicon and Ruby Rapid.

This is the best winery in Carmel, In. Good quality wines and a great staff. Ladies night or any other night is a great opportunity to have a tasting. Wines are selected by dry, semi- dry and sweet. In my opinion the Cab and Zinfandel are amazing. The Zinfandel has great jam and oak characteristics and I can appreciate that. My friends who are sweet wine drinkers couldn't get enough of the Silver Grotto Riesling...she mentioned grassy notes. Not sure that I can agree with her however I would say it was crisp. Other favorites were Sweet's Falls wine and the Redside Rapid wine. The winery does not offer food however there are a couple of restaurants within less than 30-60 seconds walking distance. You can order your food, pick it up and bring it back to the winery. Great time, great company and most important GREAT WINE and wine slushies.

What a great winery! I could take a glass of everything we sampled. You can get 5, 1oz pours for $6 to get an idea of the offerings. With fun names like the Terminator Malbec or Vulcan's Anvil Cab I wanted to drink them all... and we got through a fair amount. They have a great outdoor space with a fire pit and fountain. It's a good space for groups. They also have a back room that you can rent. I also appreciated that they have glasses/pitchers of water that you can grab because hey someone has to drive... plus you can order in food and hang awhile. we will definitely be back!

Very pleasant outdoor experience. Asked them to light the fire pit out front. No problem! Enjoyed a 5 oz pour of their Pinot Grigio, just lovely, tasty. Live music BT Koning acoustic guitar, nice surprise. Lagniappe - Cajun for a little extra for no additional cost.

This has become one of my favorite local wineries in Indiana. Not only is Sugar Creek just a mile down the street from me, but their wine is excellent and of pure quality. Kristin and Rachel were very hospitable and took good care of our wine group when we came to visit the other night. Kristin was very kind enough to put aside a box of wine corks for me to give to my friend who is working on an arts and crafts Project with wine corks. She went above and beyond the call of duty and that is very important to me when visiting a winery and for customer service purposes. The venue is very nice and they have very unique decor around the place with witty signs and wine decorations that stand out very well. I find all of their wines to be very good especially the cabernet sauvignon reserve and their zinfandel reserve as well. The marquette is very interesting and has a unique okay taste to it, but I did like it. I like the fact that Sugar creek allows patrons to bring in food outside to enjoy with friends or have dinner while hanging out with a glass of wine. It is a good way to relax and enjoy an evening with a group of people. Sugar creek winery is a wonderful place to enjoy a glass of wine with your significant other or hangout with a group of friends and share a bottle of wine or two. I would recommend this winery to all of my friends.

We had a blast here! Walked in and David (the owner) was so accommodating and personable. He really wanted to get to know my husband and talk it up with him which was really nice. Tenille was our server and she was extremely nice, knowledgeable and personable as well. They offer 5 tastings for $7 bucks! Their wines were really good and tasty. They had live music going, family friendly, and also pet friendly. My favorite was the mulled wine! She mixed chambourcin in it as it was super sweet before but mixing it was super yummy. They made our 2 year anniversary very special and we will be back. Im excited to bring my friends bask and wine taste together. I also like that they have a wine club and different options that comes along with it. Thank you Tenille and David!!!!!

I happened to find this new business while filling time before a local concert. This locally owned business grows about 70 percent of its grapes in Montgomery County (near Crawfordsville) and chose this location on Main to open its first tasting room. Although the patio faces north, there is a south entrance from the convenient parking lot for the retail/housing complex. I usually do wine tastings on my first visit, but because of my time constraint, opted to go with a chardonnay that is my default wine type. I was offered a sample of the Yellowstone Creek (2017) and found it to be excellent! So, with glass in hand, I browsed around a bit. There are some tables for larger parties on the side opposite the order counter. There are also some taller tables for folks to stand by in small numbers. I selected one of those and noticed that the front patio was nearly ready for the season (it was raining and so the chairs were turned down to avoid holding water). Inside the decor reflects the owner/president of the company's interest in rafting. In fact, he stopped by to chat with me to see how I liked the place and the wine. Very personable fellow who seems to really enjoy this new venture. Interestingly, the wines take on the names of parks/rapids. As I was wrapping up my visit, a local musician was setting up to provide entertainment for the evening's guests. Good first taste. I will have to stop by again to sample more of their offerings, and maybe pick up a bottle or two. Review #2497

My boyfriend and I visited Sugar Creek because I'm looking for a venue to host a private party. I thought the space was large and the owner showed up a nice private room. The room itself had a large 12 person table to back patio access. The biggest perk of this spot is you're able to bring your own food! Some of the wineries in town restrict what you can bring in. We both did a 5 sample tasting for $5, and found the wines to be pretty good. Our favorite was the Cabernet Sauvignon, and we ordered a glass to sit and talk after. We'll be back.

    Wine by candlelight.

This Winery has my vote for the best wine on the Northside. High quality with many wines made from locally grown grapes. You can tell that the owner appreciates the outdoors from the names of the wines and the decor. The space is very large for being part of a larger complex. Much bigger than you would expect from the front . There are several 8 top tables as well as a private room available. Front and back porches for when the weather is nice! The owner, David came up and talked to us for awhile. He was very nice, personable, and knowledgeable. I appreciated the gesture as well as him educating us on local grape growing. Tastings and glasses are very reasonably priced at $5. Flights for $12. Bottles are more expensive than I normally would spend at a store, but on par with other wineries in the area. They average around $25.

Glass of the Petite Shiraz.. definitely the best on the menu!

True to form, I almost missed the turn and had to pull off a dramatic last-second brake maneuver, shout out to the empty road behind me. At first, it was just a couple of wine drinkers, but then people started rolling in for a vision board event, and suddenly it was a full house of dreamers and brunch lovers. I went for the Fig sandwich (hold the meat) with chips. It was tasty, though there was a mysterious aftertaste; was it the brie? The apples? The suspense continues.
