We decided to try something different and this was the perfect place to visit. Farm to table is a great restaurant concept. The creamery / dairy is such a cool addition to the whole experience. They make their own ice cream and various cheeses. They offered them on a cheese charcuterie board for an appetizer. The place sits on a large and very pretty plot of property. The cows are adorable and they have my favorite cows - the cute and sweet brown Swiss and Jersey breeds. The restaurant is vast and the atmosphere is comfy and rustic. The food was great and everyone seemed to enjoy it. It was all well prepared. We tried the fish, burger, mac and cheese and scallops pasta dish. I had a filet steak and it was wonderful. The staff were very knowledgeable and so helpful and friendly. They have a gift shop and sell many cool handmade items like lotions, soaps and food. We stumbled Traders point creamery while driving from the eagle creek park, and were glad we stopped! According to the salesperson at the store this is the first USDA-certified organic dairy farm in Indiana. They have different areas you can visit, The Loft which is the restaurant, the dairy bar which is a small place to get your desserts and the farm store, all the places is a little bit crowded, a cozy place. This place was soooo wonderful - if you haven't been, what are you waiting for?! The food was to die for. The environment was so cozy. The service was so attentive. If I had to nit-pick one negative experience from my visit, I truly couldn't find one. It was so wonderful. The attention to detail was probably my favorite part of my dining experience here. When we were seated, our waitress went out of her way to address all allergies and dietary restrictions, note them, and walk us through the menu to ensure we were well cared for. Yet still relayed all allergies to the kitchen so we were safe. I loved that! 10/10. Also, this restaurant handled my ADA accommodations for my professionally trained service animal like a pro. It was that time of year again, my wife's annual Christmas party for Exercise Inc. We had such a wonderful meal and time together last year, so anticipation was high as we made our way to Trader's Point Creamery. We arrived a little early and were warmly greeted by Bre, Gab, and Carmen. They offered us our choice of drinks from the bar and invited us to enjoy a beautiful cheese and fruit plate while we waited. As dinner progressed, we were treated to exceptional food and service. Our servers kept our drinks refilled, removed plates promptly, and replaced silverware between courses. They were attentive without being intrusive, and the meal flowed smoothly. Each dish was more impressive than the last. As the meal concluded, a rumor made its way to me: Trader's Point Creamery supposedly had the best eggnog and ice cream around. My wife had been on an eggnog kick for the last two months, so naturally, my interest was piqued. I snuck down to the dairy checkout area, where Margo confirmed what I'd heard about the eggnog. I quickly grabbed a bottle to surprise my wife after our meal. The night was filled with great food, great people, and that coveted eggnog. As we left for the evening, we discussed adding Trader's Point to our regular date calendar. Met friends for a birthday brunch. This place is really adorable, the rustic charm in the loft and the farm area is so cool. They were setting up Christmas trees to sell which was just a beautiful setup. The service was ok unfortunately I can't rave about it. Server was hard to understand, acted annoyed when we needed clarification and didn't offer any suggestions. Slow to come to the table. Food was enjoyed by everyone. Our table had French Toast, short rib hash and classic breakfast. I enjoyed the hash, it had a nice blend of flavors. I loved the tiny peppers and pickled onions. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the pool of broth/fat in the dish. The potatoes were floating in it causing them to be soggy I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to try it, just the atmosphere alone makes it worth the visit. read more

This was my first visit in over a year. This continues to be a unique place in the area with creamery, a little local product store and a restaurant. We had a reservation for brunch, but waited about 10 minutes while they prepared a table for us. They seemed busy. I had a coffee and eggs Benedict. I like theirs as I can choose ham or smoked salmon. I chose salmon this time but I know their ham is really good, too! Server was attentive and professional. Great service. Unfortunately it was a very hot day and the place was uncomfortably warm... not sure if they had AC on, but I didn't feel it and I don't think I saw any fan. For this reason I won't be back until it's cooler outside, but I do recommend this place for brunch. I also hope they would consider paving their front parking lot. read more

The inner farm girl of my youth can't get enough of this place. I typically try to time out our dinner reservations with the cow milking so we can soak in the lower levels of the barn that feature for milking parlor and a really fun experience at 6:30 PM. if only the timing of the brunch menu could jive with the cows schedule ;). We frequently enjoy meals here as well as visits to the farm store and they're hiking trails through the woods and along the creek. It's such a great place to stretch your legs and get some fresh air. I also enjoy moseying through the garden during the summer months. During our latest visit, we were able to pop into another bar to see some of the calves. It was so peaceful to have the barn to ourselves and soak in the cow kisses. They have a farm store here where you can purchase local Indiana products and the dairy products (milk, cheese, etc.) that they make at Traders Point Creamery. The Loft restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Indy that serves an excellent brunch on the weekends with excellent customer service. There are a lot of neat things to see here at Traders Point Creamery and it is fun for the whole family. What an incredible Easter! Our little family unit decided not to travel this Easter and instead made a reservation at TPC for their Easter brunch before Church. What a delight! Every option on the menu sounded delicious-it was hard to pick! I did end up picking their mimosa flight (!), chicken and waffles, and a vanilla latte (made with ice cream from the farm!). Everything is ethically and sustainably sourced-much from their own farm. They had thoughtfully planned where to put families with little kids. And the service staff was energetic and full of spring spirit. Stopped here for brunch during a weekend visit. Overall, a good choice with some tasty farm to table dishes. We started with the bread platter. The feta and spinach pie was probably my favorite. Savory and buttery, filled with a perfect mix of feta and spinach. I ordered the chicken and waffle, which was decent. The chicken could have been a little more fried and flavorful but still overall quite tasty. The waffle and butter were a good complement. Since they are a creamery, we had to try their ice cream for dessert. We just got a scoop of vanilla ice cream and it was definitely very creamy but I think the flavor was just a little different so I didn't love it. We just had the BEST brunch here over the weekend. We've been several times and always love the biscuits and cinnamon rolls with the homemade icing (I mean... of course!). I personally love a healthy, protein-focused breakfast and was delighted to see the prime rib hash and grass-fed steak and eggs on the menu. I went with the prime rib hash and absolutely looooooveed it. It had caramelized onion, mushrooms, grilled potato, beef jus, eggs (cooked to how you like), and sourdough toast. The meat fell apart and was incredible. The over easy egg spread across the dish and mixed in so well with the jus. I can't stop thinking about it. I also got a side of fruit was delicious. Our server was great, the milkshake and drink bar is always so appetizing, the farm store has incredible local and healthy options (we got local honey!), and our baby loved seeing the cows and roosters walking around. Please reserve your entire evening for the Trader's Point Creamery Experience! We had a 7:30 Loft dinner reservation but arrived just before 6:30 so we could watch the nightly milking that occurs Monday-Friday. The farmer was so sweet letting us take plenty of photos and even let us know where we could find baby cows to pet after the milking tour. The grounds are expansive - a small lake, multiple barns, multiple lookout points and beautiful sitting areas in flower and herb gardens. We took a short walk after visiting the friendly baby cows (hellooooo homemade ice cream shop!) with perfect time to head to The Loft, their on site restaurant. Food was excellent (aligned to my expectations of the high price tag), especially the cheeses (most were made right on site!) and the meat was cooked with care. After dinner of course I had to stop at the wine and cheese gift shop and purchased some of the TPC cheese and some amazing prosciutto- you could even stock up on charcuterie items there and enjoy their beautiful property with your own picnic - a date night here is screaming your name. This restaurant and farm is the perfect spot for a brunch chat, bridal shower, birthday, etc. as it's pretty large and there are lots of spaces for big groups. The food is pretty good because it's locally sourced but some of the items leave something to be desired. I do really enjoy it though. I haven't had any of the cocktails but hear the Bloody Mary is delicious. The ice cream is great as well. There is a little shop selling some items used in the restaurant which is really nice. The atmosphere inside exudes a rustic charm with high ceilings and exposed wooden beams. They really capture a vintage and farm-house feel with their decor. I've been here many times and the services have always been very efficient. I ordered the Pork Chops ($36) which came over a bed of rice pilaf and yellow squash. Diner be warned. I want to like this place. I've been coming here since the very beginning (20 years ago?) I brought a friend for her first visit last week. The server was a non-native English speaker and could not answer my question about the drinking water served. I tried asking in multiple ways as I am very accustomed to non-English speakers but I gave up and just stopped drinking the water. So, I still don't know why it had a funny taste. Was it well water? Equally bad or maybe worse were the flies! We asked to be seated on the porch and I spent the entire meal swatting away multiple flies. Fly paper, anyone? Both are things the manager and possibly the Health Department needs to address. Keep in mind, the purpose of a review is to advise other customers. On top of the fish was this green salsa almost like a chimichurri sauce and micro greens. So much flavor and the fish was melt in your mouth cooked to perfection! Since Gallery closed and Milktooth is changing, I have been searching for a new brunch place. I found it. I've been here a couple of times and enjoyed it but last Sunday was phenomenal. I started out with a yummy butter pecan latte. Rich and decadent, makes Starbucks taste like dish water. Then I got a cinnamon roll to share. These are made to order. This is how cinnamon rolls should taste, hot, gooey, full of cinnamon and melty cream cheese icing deliciousness. Next, biscuits and gravy. I make some pretty spectacular b&gs, but these are another level. Homemade heavy duty biscuits. Each one 2" high. With lots of creamy gravy with so much sausage. Honorable mention to the hash my son got. That's on the menu for my next trip. They were 10 minutes late seating us and they offered us ice cream. Who says no to ice cream?
