A friend brought lemon raspberry cupcakes from Sugar'd to my home. They were spectacular. Not too sweet, wonderful texture to the cake and so beautifully decorated. Even the paper wrapper was pretty. I will be trying them myself.

First visit owner came out and talked through options regarding Dubai Chocolate, said I wasn't really familiar with but my wife was interested and wanted to try it. Thought it would be a different and fun idea for Mother's Day. After buying a coffee she gave me a cake pop as a sample.. OMG totally wasn't excepted. The atmosphere of the store was wonderfully bright and friendly, young lady at the counter was very nice and helpful. What a Great place... After my wife try's the cake pop I will let you know how she like it

Girls day out with my bestie, decided to stop here for some goodies. From the moment we walked in we knew we were going to LOVE this place! Talk about a beautifully decorated and welcoming atmosphere ...this place has that plus amazing drinks and a variety of sweet treats to satisfy the pickiest pallet! We were lucky enough to meet the owner too. She is absolutely the most genuine, kind hearted, and welcoming person. We got some of the wonderful Dubai chocolate bars before they sold out and OMG, beyond delicious! I cannot wait to go back w my girls for some cake decorating.

The donuts are divine. I love all the flavors --- I stepped out of my chocolate comfort zone.

A dessert shop that specializes in cobblers? I never imagined such an operation would open this far…read morenorth. Peach Cobbler Factory has been in business for about a year now in this western suburban Detroit strip mall where parking is never an issue. The inside of the suite was bright and spacious, however there were no seats or tables. Maybe they used to have some stools and high-tops in the past? A faux green wall was on the right, but it seemed out of sorts when nearly all places with such a social media friendly feature also have seating. There were over a dozen cobbler flavors, and each order included ice cream. The surprise was the variety of other desserts that were available. Cinnamon rolls, cookies, banana pudding, pudding shakes, brownies, Belgian waffles, and churro stix were offered. Some of these items were on display in plastic cases at the service counter. By using such a specific business name, it undersold the diversity of sweet treats that you could purchase here. A Mango Peach Cobbler was what I decided to buy. Because everything was packaged to go, the cobbler was served in one takeout container while the cinnamon vanilla ice cream was scooped into its own styrofoam cup. A cobbler is a fruit filling poured into a large baking dish that is covered with a batter/crust before being baked in an oven. It's essentially like a deep dish pie. I didn't detect much mango flavor, but the peaches were very sweet. I wished the cobbler portion size was larger for the $9 price. The ice cream was a nice touch if you wanted to eat the cobbler a la mode.

The peach cobbler…read moreitself was good- and they serve the ice cream on the side in its own cup which was awesome for taking home! It didn't become a big melted mess, so it was nice that they're kept separate. Unfortunately, though, the ice cream itself wasn't great. My husband didn't mind it, and we both enjoyed the cinnamon in it, but to me it was watery and just not something I'd eat again. The cinnamon roll was really bad. It was extremely dry and lacked flavor. The only thing that made me take more bites was the Nutella on top. The employee who took our order was kind, and the store was clean and bright. But I would not come back here.

Alpine Chocolat Haus, stay for the serenity, leave because you can't find anything to enjoy…read more I'm genuinely shocked they are still open, and yet, glad for it, as ACH is a welcome respite in a downtown that can be boisterous at times. If you are looking to a quiet place to gab with your gal pals, this is the place! There was only ONE food item I tried that was worth consuming, except you can't really take it with you - the hot fudge on the ice cream! Please sell this in jars, the taste rivals Sanders! But, everything else I tried? Barely edible. Sampled 4 ice cream flavors , just because I was trying to find one that was palatable, settled on vanilla because I felt bad sampling more flavors...the ice cream is very poor quality. Being a Michigan company, I am surprised that they don't have Guernsey ice cream? That would be a welcome improvement for sure! Purchased 3-4 chocolates to go, I think one with cherries, another with maple, maybe a coconut, and a Buckeye. Let me preface this with the fact I love chocolate...after one bite of each, I threw them away. And the Buckeye was so revolting I automatically spit it out...what kind of peanut butter tastes like that?! I wish you were better, Alpine Chocolate Haus. :(

I visited during the Plymouth Ice Festival and simply had to try a hot chocolate from Alpine…read moreChocolat Haus when I saw that they had dark hot chocolate. Some of the best hot chocolates I've ever had are from chocolate shops (makes sense) so I had high hopes. The price was quite reasonable I think for a premium hot chocolate, $4.99 for a dark hot chocolate with Mayan spice (cinnamon, cayenne, etc.) added. There was an option to add whipped cream and marshmallows but I opted out. The cocoa was excellent - delightfully chocolatey and definitely spicy - it definitely had a kick. I would order again in a heartbeat - maybe it's a good thing for my body that I don't live that close to Plymouth. They also have a nice array of chocolates, very similar to classic chocolate shops. I bought a couple of dark chocolate covered cherries and dark chocolate honeycomb chips for my mother and she loved them and she can normally be very picky about these type of chocolates. She said they were very fresh and the cherry flavor of the chocolate covered cherries was excellent. These were probably her favorite chocolates she's had in the last ten years or so. Alpine Chocolate Haus was definitely a winner and we'll be back whenever we're in Plymouth.
