Grabbed a dragon fruit lemonade (high fructose corn syrup) :/, cinnamon roll with cream cheese and a Boston cream bowl. $16.86 The dragon fruit lemonade tastes like heavy syrup, has some bubbles. It's not good. The chocolate is a hard coating on top of the bowl. The cinnamon roll dough is no longer soft. The cream cheese frosting is thick. The frosting is decent. The roll is hard as a rock. The Boston cream bowl is so-so. The cake is almost like an angel food cake. The cream is bland, not as rich as I had hoped. It's an interesting combination though. read more

Walking down the main drag, wanting something sweet and knowing that the fudge shops and candy stores weren't gonna cut it. Saw the sugar daddy name and thought it was gonna be a candy store. NOPE! Cookies, boba drinks, cakes in a bowl, sandwich cookies and more. The cakes in a bowl are massive IMO and meant to be shared or eaten over several days. The size of a cereal bowl for reference. Cashier was super patient with us as we decided. Ended up with carrot cake, Boston crème pie cake and oatmeal sandwich cookie. Definitely had the best milkshake of my lifeeee at Sugar Daddy Bakery. We drove past here in the morning & saw their milkshake signs and I said "wow that looks amazing" so we went back after lunch and tried and it was AMAZING. I've tried a few of this style of over the top milkshake and honestly most of them focus too much on the decorations and don't taste that great. This one was incredible. The cookie dough tastes like it's made in house and there's tons of delicious chunks throughout the shake, as well as in the toppings. My husband said the strawberry one wasn't as good but the cookie dough definitely deserves five stars. Definitely stop here if you can! read more

We passed by here a few times and finally decided to go in for some of their $10 milkshakes. We got what I believe were cookie dough and caramel ones. Both were really good and had a lot of items. The top third or so of the cup is covered in chocolate or caramel, then rolled in cookie crumbs. The shakes were stuffed with cookies and candies. They were really good, but it was a lot of sugar at one time. I'd have preferred a 2/3 size shake instead. The staff was friendly and they were quick with our orders. The only thing I didn't like was that the cookie in my shake was only about 1/3 of a cookie when I pulled it out. The way it is presented looks like a whole cookie (and this was a serious cookie), but after anticipating a full one I was surprised (especially at a $10 price point) to see less. To the contrary, there was a pretzel stick in the shake and it was probably 10 inches long. read more

Sugar Daddy's in Brimley is great. Went to the Soo location hoping to get a cinnamon roll and breakfast stuff, all they had were two sausage and cheese rolls and two dough wrapped kielbasa things. Microwaved to heat. No water, no diet drinks. I think they were getting the foods from Brimley and are preparing to close the location for the winter. Should close earlier. Totally underwhelmed. read more

Some of the best we've had! Husband and I are from the Detroit area and stayed at Brimley State Park campground for a week. We visited the Soo Locks and came across Sugar Daddy Bakery. We were so impressed with the raspberry shortbread cookies and cold vanilla chia latte that we had to stop by the one near the campground two more times before leaving. 10/10 quality and service all around!! read more

We were walking on Portage Avenue looking for an afternoon dessert. We were considering ice cream and fudge, but we just simply couldn't stop drooling after seeing two kids gulping and slurping loaded milkshakes from Sugar Daddy Bakery, even though each looked like it contained 10,000 calories. Oh what the heck, we were on vacation. We faced a dilemma of choosing between Oreo, strawberry or cookie dough, but we settled with cookie dough. And the loaded cookie dough milkshake was amazing to say the least! The toppings were wonderfully excessive (with a good-sized cookie dough ball, half a cookie, a wafer roll, some chocolate bar, whipped cream and chocolate chips)... so insane. At $10 it was kinda on the expensive side, but it was worth it as an occasional indulgence. We really wanted to try their cream cheese cinnamon rolls which looked bomb, but we were so stuffed after the milkshake... so maybe next time. read more

I finally decided to walk in here with my family yesterday and I'm so happy I did! We were greeted with a very friendly employee, he was patient with as we had two kids under the age of 3. He was very smiley and extremely polite. The bakery smelled of fresh baked waffle cones, although I didn't see any! However, the goodies they had were hard to pick from. We ended up with a pumpkin frosted cookie, an apple pie bar, and a oatmeal cookie. THEY ALL WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I can't wait to try more things! read more
