The Flavor Bursts are the best! I believe there are 7 flavors but I could be wrong. It's vanilla ice cream with which ever flavor swirled throughout the ice cream. Absolutely delicious... My husband & I go there everyday (except Monday because they're closed on Mondays) for an ice cream date. It's become our little date time away together. My favorite is Black Raspberry. His is Butter Pecan. If you're lucky you get these little pockets of the flavor bursts inside the ice cream. Extra bonus! I believe the other flavors are Strawberry, Root beer, Tropical Orange & Green Apple along with Black Raspberry & Butter Pecan. I'm not sure if I'm missing one or not. The service has always been polite. Depending on what time you go you can either have no wait or a wait. It's hit or miss. You never know but obviously lunch & dinner time are always busy. If you're looking for a great ice cream cone. (Soft serve) Billy Boy is the place to go! They do serve vanilla & chocolate but why get those when you can get a flavor bursts instead?!

The place was super clean, they give you HUGE portions, and talk about fast and friendly service! Not only was our waitress Cayla super nice, so was the cook, Cody. And come to find out, they're twins! I have twins in my family, and when Cayla had a few minutes to spare, she approached our table, and we chatted briefly about multiples, as well as what brought us to Harvey's that particular day. So, as far as Ken and I are concerned, Harvey's is at the top of our list! Their food is delicious, and the staff is super friendly! So for those of you reading this review, whenever you're in the Military Road area in Sioux City, and you're hungry, stop at Harvey's restaurant, and you won't be dissapointed! My Fish and Shrimp dinner was subpar, but nothing horrible. The fish is advertised as "freshly breaded", quotations included. The quotations do a lot of heavy lifting in this claim as the breading was soggy by the time it arrived at the table. I still tipped 18% because I'm not a monster and this wasn't the waitress' fault. She was very sweet and came around to check on us. Overall: I write this scathing but honest review to ward off future customers. This is assuredly the most unfortunate $50+ dollars I have ever spent.

Didn't get our drinks for 30 min. Had 3 servers and a bartender and a manager on staff with only 5 tables full. They forgot my order and forgot our refills. The pickle chips were pure salt. Right across the lot is the city's minor-minor-minor (I don't know the official term) baseball league home. It's all next to an ice rink that is used for sports and recreation. It's a great family-friendly area of Sioux City. Food is the same as the SSC location which is wonderful. They have the BEST burgers in town. I also LOVE their fries. The only thing not making these restaurants my favorites is the ranch dressing. They just use generic, bottled ranch. It's not good. I'd kill if they made actual 'restaurant' ranch. I've literally brought in my own ramekin of ranch when I'm craving a meal I usually eat with it. BUT, the brown gravy and queso are to die for. It would be a part of my last meal. Staff is great. This area has a smaller bar than the SSC area, but the bartenders whip up everything the same. I don't drink, but they're down for their margaritas. This place is kinda like a locally-owned Chilis, but with better food. A great place for even a couple drinks and some poutine.
