I scheduled an appointment for a mani and pedi, but when I arrived, no one seemed to realize the person I booked with was off. Instead, they tried to just pass me off to someone else. Honestly, people get tired of always being sent to someone "in training." The nail tech even had to come ask me directly about my pedicure--not the front desk, not the owner. That shows me no one is really paying attention to the schedule, and the person standing up front is just there to smile. What's frustrating is the double standard--if I were late, they'd be quick to tell me I'd have to see someone else. But when they make a scheduling mistake, the customer is just expected to go along with it. That's not good service. read more

Don't be fooled by the beauty of this nail spa! This place was packed, so my first impression was, they must do GOOD work here, NOT! I had an appointment for a gel pedicure with Lily. She moved waaaaay to fast for me, rushed through the "Classic Pedicure" like a kid in a candy store. She failed to clean under each toenail (which is required from what I'm use to) and her polish skills were mediocre (glad nobody's looking that close to my big toe - Lol). However, she was very detailed with trimming and shaping but that's about IT! Now that I'm writing, she didn't provide the callus remover service as stated in the brochure (ugh-my fault)! In addition, this was the worst massage ever, I didn't need my legs rubbed...felt like my skin was going to come off. I'm use to a deep massage of the ankles, toes, heels, and legs. Another issue, I waited for a nail tech to do my nails, and no one showed up! When asked after my pedicure, the owner replied, it will be another 30mins. Mind you, I had an appointment for gel manicure too! Completely disappointed! So when it was time to tip, I gave back the same energy. Oh and what do you know, she had the nerve to question the gratuity! The tip was not for the service, but for the expedited appointment, comfort, and cleanliness. Holly does an amazing job! I tried a few other locations and they were not up to par. I will only get my nails done with Holly and still looking for a good fit for my toes. What I've noticed is regardless of what pedicure you get, they don't always do what's noted. Pay attention and make sure they paint your toes correctly! This review is based off of my Mom and Sister's service and my experience purchasing a gift card. Couture Nails is located in Ashley Park, near the movie theatre and next to Five Guys. Given its location, parking is plentiful whether right in front or behind the shops. I recently came through to get my mom a gift card for a mani/pedi and while the process was pretty easy and straight forward, I was a little taken aback at time of purchase. I personally have zero clue of pricing for these things, so I let the gentleman know that I wanted to put enough on a card for a basic mani/pedi for my mother. He quickly quoted me $75 and again, given my ignorance in this price wise, I agreed...until I looked down at the pricing list and saw that the mani/pedi went for $50. I originally thought he may have included a tip, albeit a large one, but he then asked if I wanted to put $90 so it could include tip. Once I pointed the pricing out, he changed tune and we settled on $65 with tip included. Normally at this point, I would have left as that was a sad play on his part, but my mom previously visited this location and had a good experience, so I went through went the purchase. Both my mom and my sister have visited a time or two for a Girls Day Out and have gotten mani'pedi's on both occasions. My mom is always pleased with the end product, as well as the process itself. She stated that they take good care of her, are gentle and she really enjoys the finished product. My sister echoes these same sentiments. Overall, as long as my mom and sister continue to enjoy themselves, I will support this spot...however I just have to make sure I educate myself on pricing a little more before purchasing any more gift cards! read more

Unfortunately, the associate doing my pedi, got very rude and loud with me in front of other customers as well, as the manager. I told the manager that she was not friendly and, could not do what I asked for. So, I had to go with something, I DID NOT want but, she was not commutative with me. I got a Elegant Pedi which is the 2nd tier pedi it was $47. The lady who did mine was talking to her coworkers the whole time so I feel like she didn't go into detail. Barley scrubbed my feet or got all my cuticles which was the main reason I came. It included a massage which she spent about 1 min on each leg I timed it lol... I should have just spend $10 less to get the classic for $37 definitely wasn't worth it... Looks good from far away I guess... oh also no drying fans. read more

ZERO stars would be most appropriate. My child has been having her nails done at this establishment by Ally for a year or more and has been pleased many times, but somewhat disappointed on multiple occasions and reluctant to say anything. The disappointment comes not only from the poor quality nails, but also from the TERRIBLE customer service. This particular nail tech does not take criticism well at all and gets an attitude with any comment concerning the job being done. She also spends much of the appointment looking at her phone and talking to other employees. This is one of the most unprofessional businesses that I have ever encountered and the behavior is not only permitted by the owner, but also displayed by the owner. To help future potential customers decide if they want to experience service this poor while paying upwards of $80, here are the specifics of the most recent experience. My daughter, a 14 year old, communicated what she wanted to the nail tech; very short, coffin-shaped nails. Any experienced nail tech would know immediately that coffin shape will not work on very short nails and should communicate that to the customer. The nail tech proceeded to cut the nail tips down to my daughter's desired length and shaped them into what she called square; however, her idea of square must have meant longer on each side and shorter in the middle. This would be concave, which is not a nail shape to my knowledge. So not only did she not deliver on the coffin request or communicate that the desired shape was impossible, she also did not deliver on a square shape. When confronted about these issues, the nail tech stormed off and the owner proceeded to get in a shouting match, blaming my daughter for the failure. At the end of this disaster, the owner offered 15% off and when told we weren't paying for such poor service, proceeded to tell an employee to clip and soak them off. This whole experience was traumatizing to my young daughter and should have never happened. While it is true that my daughter requested something that wasn't entirely possible, it is also true that the nail tech did not communicate this with her. EVERYONE working in this establishment should know how to listen and communicate with their customers, but they seem to only be concerned with doing that with each other. After this experience, I decided to read other's reviews and have found that we aren't the only victims of the poor service. The owner responded to one customer with a very similar experience and also blamed it on the customer, as I'm sure will be the case here, but if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, just trust that it is a duck. There are too many other customers with the same experience to believe any rebuttal that the owner can offer. Do yourself a favor and stay away. There are many other establishments to choose from. We will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

Came in with mydaughter, was told 10 minutes...waited over 30. Was walked past several times until we got ready to just leave. Polishes were dried out and had to change polishes twice. Very unfriendly staff. Once polish completed, was never even checked to make sure everything was dry. No one even said anything on our way out.
