Hi there, got a a gift certificate to this place. Went to get my toes don. Didn't know the color or what pedicure I liked. So, Mr Phong suggested Volcan. That cost $55, ok cool I have a gift certificate. As, he was taking off my old polish he asked if it was gel. No it's not I stated, because it DOES'T last. He then said no you need to try OUR GEL I SAID OK. He picked the color. Now the volcano service includes hot stones. Massage towel is warmed crap that they put in your water to bubble it up to make you feel like you're getting something fancy. It also includes a paraffin soak meaning is supposed to soften your toes and heels. He put the paraffin wax on didn't even in there correctly. It's supposed to be in the foot like no foot He just put in a regular plastic bag hold of my foot. I got some of my toes a little bit of the heel. It's supposed to soften up the bottom of your foot. Go figure for yourself. Never at one time during the to me jealous is going to be $15 didn't ask me never said anything remember the service was $55 I have a gift certificate for $25. He brought the hot right along when he did bring the pass and wax never used them just left them there in the bowl. He did my toes didn't ask him cut my toenails so they're like at a point with a bunch of told me just hanging out and I told him that in the end of the service everything was fine except for you cut my much. I don't like them your toenails grow straight out. I don't know why someone would cut your toenails in a curve. They're not my fingernails their toenails. We're done service go to pay. The says $45. I'm looking like $45 for what your $70. How is my service $70 you get 15 extra dollars I said what to me if you were gonna extra because I asked what comes with a pedicure regular OK but if you're adding on something you should let your customer know OK if you want which suggested I didn't. I'm sad to say that I won't be returning to Kedron Nails, after being a regular customer. Today, myself and 3 girls had appointments. We arrived 10 minutes early to pick polish and be ready for the techs at our appointment time. From the time we walked in Kent was extremely condescending to all of us. He had the girls sit at empty tables and said he would do my nails himself. He was on his iPad and after a few minutes, I asked if there was anything he needed from me. I could tell by his hand movements he was playing games. He said he had just started something. One of my daughters pointed out that he was playing Candy Crush. He told me he had 4 minutes and a 10 minute grace period before my appointment started. We left. I've seen Kent at the front be abrasive with customers, he's been a bit short with me, and my teenage daughter said she felt belittled at previous appointment that I didn't attend with her. I've always excused it because I've thought to myself, that he's running a business, doing nails, and there is still a bit of a language/culture barrier. Today was none of that - no phones to answer, no one else to serve, and absolutely no language barrier. The other staff here have always been great. Had been going here for two years + with my wife and I. The folks there are awesome except for the owner Ken / Kent. He totally demeaned my wife on her last visit. He had done this before but not as overtly and she always shrugged it off as the staff there are great. We are now going to a competitor, we discovered Kedron Nails is the lowest rated nail salon in PTC when we started looking for alternatives. He is a miserable bully. When the lady started doing my nails, I was a little unsure from the shape she made my nails. She left me right after starting and did someone's eyebrows. Which I understood. As she continued to do my nails I really didnt like how they looked and let her know. She got very angry and then sent me away to do my toes. I really enjoyed my nail service here. The people were super friendly and accommodating to my walk-in emergency. I arrived to ATL for a business trip with a nail that had broken way past the smile. My finger was sore and the skin was randomly catching on things, even snagging my hair. I was able to get a tip put on and a dip manicure (they use Kiara Sky). I was really impressed with my nails and the five coworkers I traveled with complimented how nice it looked. The tech was an older gentlemen who was kind and gentle. In the past I have had people overfile my nails leaving them in poor conditions. I love how the tech (Im sorry I cannot remember his name) used light pressure and one pass. The only peeve I have is that the implements didn't seem to be properly sanitized. There was no blue barbicide any where in sight. That doesn't mean there was none, I just didn't see sanitation occurring. In Ohio, nail Techs are required to sanitize implements between customers. Many of the course black files were pretty white from previous uses. Georgia may have different standards. The salon was clean and modern. I loved the ton of options for colors for SNS and gel. If you don't know what you want coming in choosing a color may be the hardest part. read more

Racist! The boy at the front station alleges that he "over heard" my conversation with the nail tech. He proceeded to tell me that I should go to camp creek if I wanted long nails. As this is a "conservative area" so their clients requests are basically natural manicures. I never once requested long nails or discussed anything with his tech about long nails. The tech was explaining to me that my nails were "coffin shaped" when they were in fact just square. I don't wear "long nails" but this boy was inclined to suggest to me where to go for "long nails" as he implied that his staff lacked the ability to shape my nails as coffin shaped(narrow tips) and v-shaped nail tip. These are extremely basic requests that techs all learn in cosmetology school. Upon checking their social media, they in fact perform other styles and designs so I'm uncertain why he felt so compelled to tell me where to go for "long nails" which were NEVER a request of mine. He expressed that his salon "charges for everything" as if I'm not familiar W/ asian owned salons charging for every single thing, as someone who's unfortunately been getting their nails done at asian owned salons for more than 10years. Tonight, was confirmation to NEVER give these type of business owners a penny of my earnings! Poor quality & poor service! I couldn't be paid to waste another 2 1/2 hours of my life at this nail spot again! I wish he would've expressed his racism before I paid for this piss poor service! I already knew when the tech didn't remove the dirty water from the pedicure bowl before he had me sit at this station, that this would be my 1st and LAST visit to this place. RACIST! Save your time & money & go to the nail salon next to the CHASE Bank in peachtree city instead. Much better service & quality! My nails are the mint colored nails in the photo. They require appointments but will take a walk in right in front of your time and make you wait. They refuse to book appointments to do mani and pedi at the same time. The service time for them is the same but for the client it is 2 hours instead of one. They told me if I could come during the week they would accommodate me. Some people have to work during the week. I wanted to come on a Friday at 10:00 am but they don't consider that a weekday. I just discovered Kedron about 6 months ago and WOW, they never disappoint. I actually enjoy going there! Every single person is personable and down to earth. Kent (the owner & awesome person) has created an amazing product called Hawaiian Nails. After doing an acrylic overlay for years and trying gel and SNS out as they were introduced he sat me down one day and explained the way to save money (I neglect going e try two weeks as I should) and explained the process of "Hawaiian". I absolutely love them. He's able to get them super thin and they look so natural. I'm constantly getting complements. I got sns and the guy who did my nails rushed threw it, didn't get the dip close to my cuticle so it already looks like my nails grew out for a few weeks, and he filed half way into my nail so now my nail hurts.
