Joanna absolutely slayed my brow lamination and lash lift. My brow literally grow downward from the arch to the tail, but you wouldn't know it after this lami! I had my very first Lash Lift & Tint done here today. My girl was Caroline. She was super sweet, talkative, and great communication! Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because although my left eye came out great, my right eye, only the outer lashes curled and the other half didn't. Also, the middle lashes look a little clumped together. BUT, it wasn't Caroline who prepped the lashes. She initially went to go ask one of the other girls' opinions on what size to wear since I initially told her I like a bold curl. The girl who came seemed a little annoyed and ended up rushingly prepping my lashes with the size they thought was best. Also, someone (idk who cause my eyes were closed) kept telling Caroline how she had to be done at 12 due to having her next client. I feel like they put the pressure on her and made her feel rushed. Mind you, my appointment ran 10 minutes late (which doesn't bother me) so I feel like my appointment shouldn't be rushed if it didn't start on time. But Caroline was great and sweet! She also finished the second half of the lashes great! I just think the other girl who came in, rushed to prep and didnt take the time to seperate the lashes which caused half of them to stay straight. read more

Hidden gem! I come here to get my underarms sugared and I always have a good experience. It's $25 and takes about 15 minutes. I've had appointments with Valeria, Hannah, and Danielle -- they are all great! Gentle, kind, and professional. I love that I can schedule online and be in and out quickly. I started coming here about 2 years ago and haven't looked back since. These girls are your FRIENDS, and the small family-like vibe is amazing. Waxing is my service of choice and I have Lexi as my waxer. She is awesome. She does a wonderful job making sure I'm comfortable and that everything is getting removed the way I want it. I prefer hard wax over sugar (I've tried both several times) and she's great at using either one so whichever you prefer she can take care of you. She knows exactly what she's doing and she's fast and efficient. I work ridiculous hours (nurse) but she always makes sure to accommodate my schedule and she replies super fast every time I reach out. I get a Brazilian sugar wax every 4 weeks and my hair is so light and sparse now so different from when I was doing Hard wax. July 2, 2020 - This was the most pleasant and amazing hair removal process I have ever gone through! I booked my appointment while abroad and it was definitely worth the trouble to connect to them! Scheduling: Scheduling was super easy! Schedule online through their website or call ahead. Service: I scheduled a Brazilian sugaring and full-leg sugaring. The process was NOT painful, especially compared to my previous hair removal processes at other businesses. This time I was seen by Kristyn, but I've also been sugared by Danielle, Mimi, and Jillian. I asked Kristyn about any suggestions for my ingrown hairs and she helped me get rid of as many as her time allowed. She gave me suggestions on exfoliating tactics! Decor: The center is extremely clean. The rooms were lit and decorated very nicely. I am so sad I do not live around Claremont but this my go-to spot for whenever I'm back in town. I hate to be the only bad review especially because everyone at the salon was so nice but my overall experience was not the best. I had done a lot of research on lash lifts and this place had great reviews and pictures of beautiful lash lifts. The salon is very nice and the process is what I expected, though closer to the end of the process one of the products used got into my eye and started to burn very badly. My entire eye started watering and she had to remove everything and try and wipe it out of my eye. This was my biggest fear about doing a lash lift as chemicals should not be used near eyes, though luckily my eye seemed to be fine after the redness and irritation settled down a couple hrs later. Secondly, instead of my lashes having an open look they look kinked and some of the lashes aren't laying the appropriate way. It's not very noticeable to others and with mascara they look better but still not like the pictures. Selena was very sweet and the place was nice but for $115 I was less than satisfied with my experience and the results :/ read more

I couldn't make it to my appointment and the charged me half the price once and the last time they charged me $12 more then half the price which they never explained why just charged my card. When I moved from New York, I was worried that I wouldn't find a good waxing place that didn't use chemicals so I was extremely pleased when I found this place. I live about 17 miles away, but it's worth the drive for great and healthy service. It was the first time I did sugaring, and it works great on legs and is chemical free! It has sugar, lemon, and water. Amazing! There is also hard wax, which in my opinion, works better for sensitive areas, but everyone's experience is difficult, you can try both to see which works better for you. Sugared and Lashed Studio is Claremont's *newest* hidden gem for wellness & beauty. Unlike many small locally owned businesses, the prices are VERY reasonable and the owner, Danielle, is almost always on-site. Additionally, the environment is very welcoming, there are always complimentary fresh organic teas, juices, infusions, cookies, etc. waiting for you when you arrive, and the products used don't contain many of the harsh chemicals used at other studios. The treatments I receive here completely changed my lifestyle and the way I look at myself. I will definitely continue booking treatments at Sugared and Lashed Studio. Being a natural blonde, I also have the joy of light brown & blonde brows, and lashes with blonde bases and tips... *sigh*... This doesn't exactly make for a stunning bold brow & lush lash effect. Moreover, I don't like wearing a lot of makeup because I have extremely sensitive skin. However, when owner, Danielle, recommended I try a keratin lash lift paired with the henna brow and lash tints, it was a total game changer! Danielle has been working with my brows, allowing them to grow out fuller than what was typical for me in the past, then with the henna tint she can incorporate all my "little blondies" (which used to just be wishful thinking, but ultimately nuisances) into the natural brow. Once the whole brow is the warm shade of brown I like, Danielle uses hard wax to gently clean and shape them for a full, but polished look. The result? Fuller/thicker brows than I ever thought possible! Plus, without all the extra synthetics and chemicals, I never experience any irritation after treatment. (See henna brow and lash tints + brow hard wax before & after photos below) While I follow up on my lash henna tinting maintenance just as often as my brow henna tinting (about once every two to four weeks as needed), I *do* have to wait longer in between keratin lash lifts. The lash henna tint Danielle uses for me comes out as the jet black color I look for when I used to wear the occasional mascara. I love how much length is "added" to my lashes just from the henna alone, but when paired with the keratin lash lift (last one done before these photos was 3 months ago) it looks like I'm *wearing* lashes even though they're all mine and all natural. Every morning when I wake up after one of Danielle's keratin lash lifts + henna combos and look in the mirror I think to myself, "So this is what Beyoncé was talking about: 'I woke up like dis; flawless.'" Loved my first experience here with Danielle. However, the second time I tried to book ended up being completely TERRIBLE due to the customer service provided by one of the members here that was working around 4pm on Thursday 5/16. Understanding that I made two rescheduled appointments and tried my best, but wasn't able to make either one due to the passing of my grandmother was frustrating. They gave me a call around the time of my appointment to confirm, so I let them know what was going on. The team member proceeds to say "wow I'm sure that's hard, but when you schedule your appointment make sure it's for a time you know you'll actually be here." She had the most disgusting attitude and behavior with me over the phone to the point where I had to just hang up. If I had known this would be the experience my second time around, I would have never rebooked. Danielle, I admire what you have built but please do not let this young lady ruin it because you have already lost one customer.
