I walked into a very inviting space and greeted by extraordinarily pleasant staff. Then the moment of truth! Heather ushered me into a very modern, bright, and fresh space where "it would all go down". LOL! Heather explained everything step by step. WOW. I am so impressed with the tan I just received yesterday. This is the first time that I'm not slightly embarrassed walking around the day after a spray tan. I woke up this morning thinking "oh noo, I look like an oompa loompa" and to my surprise, after I showered, the tan was PERFECT. I'm used to showering and my face still being two shades too dark. Not to mention, the scent is amazing! It does not smell or feel like a typical spray tan. I vow to never step into a mystic tan or versaspa machine ever. SO SO SO SO impressed. I love these girls! They are so friendly and awesome at what they do. Sugaring beats waxing 100% as a service, in my opinion, but the best part of this salon is that they make you feel SUPER comfortable. I've had a lot of waxers make me feel sort of insecure or worried, always trying to upsell me products and making comments that insinuate that if I don't come in to wax every 3-4 weeks I am not taking proper care of myself (waxing is so expensive, it's nearly impossible to go that often!) but these girls are so down to earth, I always feel more than comfortable during my appointments. They do an awesome job and offer an amazing membership pricing that has allowed me to keep up on my self care and make it more painless every time I go in:) read more

I use to have a monthly spray membership here and loved it. I had to move back home for three months to help with family so I had to cancel it, and CJ Lane took care of it very professionally and efficiently. I have now moved back to Oc and have been coming in for single spray tans as I have a busy schedule being a business owner. I came in the other night, and had my gf meet me there because we were grabbing lunch after. I was not impressed with the greeting I for when I walked in, nor was my friend who has NEVER been here. I then got sprayed and came out to pay. I pretty much waited and was looking at my gf because it was awkward for anyone to say , how was your service, your total is, etc. so I then said , did someone want to charge me for the service today? I was then disrespectfully talked back to with , " oh well we were waiting for you." I had been at the counter waiting to have someone charge me. First, if my front desk girl ever talked to my clients this way, they would get a warning and write up, second, my best friend has never been here, maybe have better customer service, and shoot try to upsell to her? She was really taken back by this experience as well. I wrote this review because this isn't the first time I have heard this from the front desk ( my other best friend actually tans here too, and had a similar experience with disrespectful behavior) I caution the owner to be aware of her staff, and people that are walking through the door that are loyal, and being people who could possibly be a new client. OMG WHY AM I JUST FINDING THIS GEM NOW?! 1st time here and I'm SOLD. I came in pretty pissed and with a somewhat bitchy attitude but the girls there handled it like a pro! I was mad because I drove 30 minutes here and upon arrival, they said I had to wait 15-20 minutes because I was already late 10 minutes & they don't want to have the customer after me be late for her appointment since she arrived early and on time. I 100% respect that. But of course, when you're stuck in traffic for a while only to come in finally and have to wait again...I was upset but I'm honestly amazed by their professionalism and kindness regardless of my attitude. They did all they could to get me in as fast as possible and I really appreciate that. On top of that, I had the AMAZING Hayley do my sugaring and she's a pro. Her technique is on point and even though it hurt (of course it would since I haven't gotten sugared for a couple of months), she made it go by so fast. Not only that they provide wet wipes so you can wipe yourself before they start sugaring. I love that. I've been to a lot of sugaring places & I don't think a single one has offered that. She even took the time to tweezed the stubborn small hairs after which I really appreciate because I specifically said I don't want to leave with any hair left. All in all, this places checks everything on my checklist. I can't necessarily recommend names because it's difficult to request people when you make an appointment but if you can't past that you'll find they are all trained and the services provided are consistent The only draw back is the don't always answer the phone so text messaging or on line appointments are preferred,- not necessarily my preferred method but it seems to work. This was the worst tan I've ever received. I was literally botchy by that evening. I've been doing spray tanning for years and well aware of the pre and after care. This formula was either bad or the person doing it was not well trained. And I hate the fact that they ask for tips in front of the tanning specialist. First - why am I tipping? I'm already owing $30 for the tan. Pay your employees better and don't transfer the cost of labor To your customers through tipping. read more

I have always been getting waxed for my Brazilians but ever since I've tried sugaring I will never go back! There are so many good things to say about Sugar + Bronzed. Here are the benefits I've noticed with sugaring versus waxing: First, it is so much quicker than waxing. Waxing usually took about 30 minutes to do a thorough job but here they only took 15 minutes max. This brings me into my second point - it is much less painful than waxing!! It doesn't stick to your skin like wax does and only grabs onto the hairs so it is much less painful. Not only was it less painful but there was absolutely no residue left behind after my session whereas when I get waxed sometimes I find some wax pieces left behind. Third, the results last a lot longer than waxing! I noticed that when I waxed it would grow back within a week or two, but with sugaring the results lasted about 2 and a half weeks without any itchiness. I also noticed my hair grew back softer, lighter and less abundant. Now to talk about Sugar + Bronzed as a business: The staff was very welcoming and friendly when you come in. They were super efficient and quick. Every time I come I'm in and out within 15 minutes. It is located upstairs and there are 2 designated parking spots for them. Although it may seem like limited parking, they are appointment based only so there will never be a need to go elsewhere to find parking. The prices are amazing!! They have a special deal where if it's your first time you get two Brazilians for $49. They also have plenty of other discount offers too so if you get Brazilians every month then this place will be the best price you'll find around. read more

Got an airbrush here and found the intense lines and darkness of my hands and feet to be unacceptable consider I used to work at a tanning salon myself. I've been to S+B many times in the past and never had an issue, but this was sprayed too intensely on my hands and feet. read more

Allie, my sugaring beautician was absolutely wonderful: fast, friendly, professional. I was in and out LITERALLY in 10 minutes. I have sensitive skin but my swelling went down in 40 minutes and i am as bare as a baby. Price wise, i gotta say is REALLY generous. Other places that i check out range between 50-70 dollars for sugaring for first timers, but B+S has a promotional deal right now for 49 for 2 sessions. Such a convenient little spot with the sweetest girls that work there! They have such good hours too so if you spray late at night they have that option and others don't.
