This was my first time getting sugared, let alone a Brazilian and I wasn't really sure what to expect. Finding parking took me a few minutes as they only have two reserved spots in the parking lot. It is a very small salon, but nicely decorated and clean. I waited about 10 minutes at the front desk before someone came and checked me in. I think there were only two girls working and they seemed busy so I didn't really mind. Tiffany was the girl who did my sugaring and did a great job of educating me on what she would be doing. I thought it was going to be slightly awkward, but Tiffany did a great job of making me feel comfortable. I'm not going to lie, it really hurt but Tiffany did a great job and made it quick. Tiffany told me that next time I come in (in 4 weeks) that it would be slightly less painful. When she finished, she put some combination of oils and lotion on that made it feel a lot better. She also educated me on what I would need to do the next few days to properly take care of the area. Been coming here for years, and today was my last day. I don't know what happened to the customer service at this place, young girls that look miserable and have an attitude. I have been in the customer service for 17 years and would never let a client just walk out the door because they were 10 minutes late. I'm still waiting for it to fully develop, but I'm honestly so happy with it. She helped me pick the perfect shade because I'm pretty light skinned (shade 2). She made sure that i wouldn't look all orange, but instead golden WHICH LOOKS GREAT & NATURAL! Also, I'm a plus size girl & it's sometimes intimidating going into something like this & wearing minimal stuff. So i appreciate Emily being so genuine & comforting. This is actually insane, I've tried everything and I have no idea what to do at this point but visit a doctor. It is that bad... do not visit this business for sugaring. Before coming in here, I did my research on waxing and sugaring. Found this store on Yelp and decided to try it out after reading the reviews. It was my first time getting a Brazilian and Daniela made me feel so comfortable and at ease for a first timer. She answered all my questions and concerns. Made me feel like we already knew each other by talking about our lives as she worked on me. I was extremely nervous as I made my way to the store but it all went away when Daniela introduced herself to me and told me what was going to happen step by step. I am beyond upset right now! I contacted this location to schedule an appointment for Sunday May27th. The receptionist asked me "what time would you like to come in?" I said your first available appointment. She said okay come at 9:00 a.m. I drove from Chino Hills (approx 38 miles) to arrive at 9:00 a.m. When I pulled into the parking lot at 8:51 a.m. it was completely empty. So I sat in my car until 8:59 a.m. I attempted to open the door at 9:00 a.m. and the door was LOCKED. So I knocked on the door and called their number. I could here the phone ringing and no one picked up. Upon returning to my car, I checked on Yelp to see the time that they opened and it stated 10:00 a.m. I thought maybe I got the time and / or date wrong so I checked the text message that was sent this morning (by Sugar and Bronze) to confirm my appointment. It also stated 9:00 a.m. I am beyond furious. At this point in my life and working two jobs... it burns me up when people waste my TIME! I'd rather you waste my money than my time! Time is something you can NEVER get back. I could've slept in my bed for that extra hour or grabbed breakfast. So I'm waiting in this parking lot until someone arrives. But this will be my LAST time coming to this particular location. I never cared for it anyway because the ladies are not as nice, caring, patient, or friendly as the location in Beverly Hills. Just a clarification update. I've been getting sugared for the past 2.5 years up in the Bay and recently moved back down to SoCal.The hunt for a new sugarist has been tough, and I've tried around 4 different sugaring places in the last six months or so around Orange County. My first experience at Sugar + Bronzed was pleasant and went by quite smoothly. The prices for Brazilians (if you do the yearly membership) are excellent given the service for this particular time I went. Other places around Orange County charge far more for no noticeable difference in quality, and others charge less for significantly horrible service. My second experience here was a few months later and was an altogether different experience but I'm going to attribute it to a one-time event that's not the norm... In a few weeks I'll be able to try sugaring here again and update accordingly. What I can say now: the customer service here is exceptional. After my second experience, I was quickly reached out to by the owner and was told of what initiatives have taken place to prevent another customer from having the same experience I had. That speaks volumes about how they think of their customer base. read more

I really liked my tan at first but the fade off is horrible. I can't understand why nobody has posted about it. I was thinking at first maybe my tan was splotchy because I came at the end of the night, maybe the solution wasn't as fresh who knows. But my best friend came earlier in the day and did a complete different formula and hers is doing the same thing actually worse because she chose a darker shade. It's so horrible I don't even want to wear shorts. I have never seen such horrible fade on the skin even from a spray tanning machine read more

I really don't like putting negative reviews because I too am I business owner in the beauty industry. However, I felt compelled in this case as there is a lack of diligence that i experienced with this business. Let me start by saying that I've been getting spray tans for nearly 10 years and offered spray tans in my business for many years as well. So I am well familiar with the ins and outs of this service and how to properly pre and after care for it. I went in for a spray tan 3 days before an event I was hosting. I showered twice after my spray tan and did all due diligence to make sure the top layer was all off. Long story short, the $850 white silk bodysuit i wore the day of the event got completely DESTROYED by the spray tan. There were stains on the inside that even made their way to the outside making it unwearable. I dry cleaned it 3 times, which wasnt cheap either only to be told that this won't come out. Even the dry cleaners were surprised. NEVER have i had a spray tan not only stain my clothing so severly, but also not come out with dry cleaning. Sugared & Bronzer prides itself in having a color that t they themselves formulated. That is quite unfortunate as there are countless high quality formulas on the market that are much more adequate. The color itself was also way too dark, even though i asked for the lightest one. Luckily for them, their waiver mentions that they are not responsible for stained clothes so I have absolutely no recourse and have to take this huge loss on my brand new bodysuit. I really would not recommend going here. read more

I was super excited for this place because I read all the good reviews about it. Went there for my first time on Wednesday, receptionist was really nice, the place was really clean! The only negative thing I have to say about this place is that the girl that sprayed me did it really fast, & her customer service wasn't the best. It wasn't bad but she seemed really bored. Still tipped well cause I thought my tan came out really well, at first! I noticed the back of my leg was a lot lighter than the rest of my leg, didn't say anything cause i thought when it sets..it'll blend in. I wait 12 hrs to shower, I look at my leg and it has a whole white spot. Not only on one leg, both legs !!! I was pretty upset. If anyone is new to this, make sure they spray everything evenly!!!! read more
