This place is so so so good. I've been to two locations and the employees are so sweet. They make you feel so comfortable especially if you've never had a Brazilian before!!! They talk you through it the whole time and I was laughing though the pain both times I have gotten a Brazilian. Sugaring is PERFECT for sensitive skin!! I promise you, if you get razor bumps and rashes you need to come here!! After some horrible waxing experiences on my lower legs, with the hair growing back quickly within two weeks and lots of ingrowns, I decided to give sugaring a try. Based on the Yelp reviews (always!). Enter Elaine! She did a thorough and as painless as could be job. She was a great coversationalist as well. She tipped me off that regular exfoliation in the shower would help keep my legs smooth and free of ingrown hairs. While she did recommend their product, she certainly did not push it, even when I admitted I'd probably just get something from Walgreens. I'm going on week three with minimal regrowth. While the price is higher than a chain waxing place it seems worth is because, at least for me, it's longer lasting. I plan to try a bikini wax next and am hoping for similar smooth results. In the interest of transparency, they do offer 15% off your next service for a Yelp review, but I'll be going back regardless. A horrible job wouldn't bring me back for a discount. I have always heard about sugaring, but was so used to traditional waxing that I never checked it out. After many years of waxing, I decided to try something new. Amazing sugaring experience! My first time doing sugar instead of waxing and it is sooo much better. I have extremely sensitive skin and when I was told there wouldn't be residual redness for weeks after like waxing I was skeptical. I've been to this Sugaring and the Santa Monica location. Manhattan Beach is by far my favorite. You can see the ocean while getting your treatment! The staff is AWESOME! Angela is my favorite and always makes my sugars pain free and super quick- while still paying attention to detail and not leaving anything behind!
