Jenny is the first person that I ever did sugaring with! Years before I had a bad experience with regular waxing with the strips and it traumatized me and I never wanted to try waxing again until I heard about sugaring and did some research about it. I was super nervous on my first time but Jenny was so sweet and patient with me even though it probably took us over an hour! But she made me feel comfortable and I loved the results and have been going back faithfully every 3-4 weeks! I get ingrown hairs a lot and she showed me a product that helps with that and will take any out that she sees after sugaring! Jenny is just the best! I despise shaving! I hate everything about shaving in my bikini area. With that being said, I had a membership at well know waxing chain for 5 years. I thought waxing was the best form of hair removal until I discovered sugaring! I had a friend that was raving about her sugaring experience and outcome with jenny so I decided to give it a try...okay I'm dead serious when I say I saw results with my first Brazilian sugaring appointment I'm not lying! Usually after I get a Brazilian wax, my skin would feel kind of raw, sensitive, and sticky for a couple days (I thought that was normal) But when I got sugared my skin felt soft, and it didn't feel like I just got a bunch of hair ripped out of me like I would after my wax. Weeks went by and I noticed that my hairs were growing in really soft and it seemed like new baby hairs. It was bittersweet for me bcuz sugaring with jenny made me realize that 1. This whole time I've been getting waxed, what was really happening is the wax would just break the hairs off instead of pulling them from the root. That's why the hairs weren't growing back as new soft hairs and the results didn't last as long 2. I feel like I've wasted my money waxing FOR 5 YEARS! I didn't see results like this with waxing. I've already been back to get sugared a few more times before writing this review. Goodbye waxing, helloooo sugaring! (Also jenny is so professional. I had a great experience! First off, she's very accommodating with scheduling. I tried to book 3 services last minute and she came in early just to squeeze me in, so amazing customer service from the start. I got my underarms sugared, brazilian, and eyebrows waxed. I had gotten my underarms sugar for the first time ever (somewhere else) 4 weeks prior to this appointment so it was time to do it again. The first time I was ever sugared there I was surprised at how much it hurt, but my hair grew in thinner so it was much better this time around. I was super nervous to get my brazilian done since I had only ever had it waxed and that was like 8 or 9 years ago and it hurt so bad. But I knew I wanted to try because shaving wasn't cutting it anymore, bumps, razor burn, itchiness, etc. I took 2 advil about half an hour before my appointment and she did my underarms first which gave it more time to kick in. She gave me stress balls to squeeze when it was down under time. If you've never had a brazilian before, just know this- it hurts! It just does. I've given natural birth 3 times and this still hurts, but it's totally bearable. She does a really good job at conversing with you though, it definitely helps distract and it doesn't feel forced. She let me know which area would hurt the most and it didn't take long at all, from the second I walked in and got all 3 services done and paid it was 50 minutes. She got all the hair and it all looked amazing. It's been almost 2 weeks and I barely have hairs coming out and it's sparingly and much thinner so I know when I go back in 2 weeks it won't hurt as much. It's been so nice to not have to shave and still not have hair 2 weeks later, it's amazing! Everything was clean and sanitary. When she needed more sugar she took off her glove and put a new one on then proceeded to get more sugar. Overall it was the best sugaring experience I've ever had and will now be a repeat customer. If you're on the fence take the leap and try it out-you won't regret it! read more
