Finally found a better alternative to shaving! Shaving always causes me razor bumps that last forever, Nair never gets all the hair, and waxing doesn't leave them smooth. This was totally different. 100% worth the money. I will be coming back regularly. I had Jenn and she made me feel comfortable and did a great job. I came in and The receptionist (I have no idea her name) she has lots of piercings she (somewhat) greeted me. & I made small talk with her until it was my time to be seen. at times her responses seemed condescending and her vibe was fake nice like she didn't want to be bothered Which made my mood/experience not the best.. anyways I met with my sugarista Mya.. she was knowledgeable and friendly the pain level was about a 6 probably due to the numbing spray . I wasn't thrilled with my results it wasn't what I imagined. It was obvious after one quick feel that hair was left behind at the top and it didn't give me the flawless feeling I hoped for still felt some pricks. And yes it was a Brazilian. i made the appointment a day before and they had plenty of openings thank god! i requested a Brazilian wax, numbing spray, etc. the appointment was very quick easy and simple, took about an hour, it was my first time for a downstairs waxing, the place was adorable inside, the ladies made me feel very comfortable and eased my nerves, i had Valerie, she used an all natural sugar wax, still painful as expected, but only for the initial rip. right after each rip she applied pressure and so it did not hurt, afterwards she tweezed remaining hairs and applied a natural oil and i was all done. she chatted with me the whole time so i wasn't even thinking about when the next rip would come. afterwards, i got dressed, walked out and paid. she gave me some great tips and recommendations for aftercare, wish i could've tipped more but they have pre set tip selections that only go up to 25%. they also took off some extra things i selected for the appointment that weren't necessary or needed for the appointment. i left very happy, she did recommend drinking lots of water, taking an ibuprofen and having no caffeine before the appointment and minimal friction on waxed area for 24-48 hrs after. After some brief research about waxing services I choose to come here for body waxing/sugaring. Being middle aged and having never had body waxing before I was a little nervous as to what to expect. I found their website and I booked an appointment right online. Easy to navigate website and in an hour I would be hair free (down there). When I arrived there were 3 lovely ladies who greeted me. I was given an iPad to fill out a questionnaire and sign some stuff about the services, potential side effects etc. after I was done my esthetician Tynya showed me back to the sugaring room. The salon is clean, bright and tastefully decorated. I booked a Brazilian service and then she gave me instructions to undress (below the belt) then to lay on the table and she would be back in a few minutes. When she returned she asked some questions about what I was familiar with and about previous experiences. We talked for a few minutes while she cleaned, examined and then she added the numbing spray. I paid to have the numbing applied since it was my first time and really didn't know what to expect. She gave it a few minutes to set in and then returned. She made me feel really comfortable and we talked about random stuff while she applied the sugar mixture and pulled it off. I wish I had something to compare it to but again this was my first ever experience with a Brazilian, I had nothing to compare. I will say that it wasn't near as bad as I anticipated. It could have to do with the spray, but I don't think so. I have to think that it was Tynya and her professionalism and her kindness (such attention to detail) and the vibe of this place. I've done waxing, laser hair removal, and electrolysis but had never tried sugaring. This is definitely my favorite of all of them. The lobby is cute; the tables in the waxing rooms could be a little more stable or impressive-looking, but the work itself and my sugarista, Wynter...excellent! It's no secret that any hair removal is uncomfortable if not painful, and I'm happy to say this method is the best for me and I'll be sticking with it. The systems could be better; it's not always clear where you can book online if you don't want to call, and I do wish they had more package options. Right now, it's either one at a time or an unlimited package --- there's no in between. Everything else is great though. read more

I just had my second Brazilian sugaring yesterday and I thought it's time to finally compare two different experiences and make a review. My girl Alexis is amazing. The first time I got my Brazilian, I was so anxious and she made me feel at ease and comfortable. She answered all my questions and gave me a heads up on what to expect and feel during the entire process. She even instructs me when to take a deep breath and exhale. It was very helpful. Now, the experience (Brazilian sugaring) I have to tell you, it hurts. So bad. But maybe because that was my very first sugaring / waxing down there (shaving was my thing prior to this). I have high pain tolerance and already took 2 Tylenols 2 hours before the sugaring and it was still painful. It hurts so much it made me question what the hell was I doing. The pain didn't end there. The following day, it was still a little swollen and just tender and had some bumps. I was uncomfortable. I wasn't sure if it was just normal reaction since it's my first time getting waxed / sugared down there and it's Brazilian or if I was having a reaction or some sort. I was starting to get nervous. The second day was about the same, the swollen has gotten down a bit but it was still tender to touch. I was about ready to schedule an appointment with my doctor cause I was so scared that I am experiencing sugaring gone wrong. But lo and behold, I woke up the 3rd day fully healed! The swelling and tenderness was gone and so are the bumps. I was able to do water sport that day with no problem at all (kayak for 4 hours) and came home with pretty looking coochie. I was a very happy and satisfied customer! It also took about a week an a half before I could feel the hair growing back which is good cause usually, the next day after shaving, i could feel my hair growing back again! Hair still grew but not as thick and as much as it used to be so I'm very impressed. So, my 2nd sugaring experience is a little bit different. It still hurt on some places (top part / pubic bone) that part still hurts like hell even the 2nd time around and I did take 2 Tylenol as well. But some parts were a little tolerable now. Definitely not as painful and not as bad the first time! And the after effect is different as well, it wasn't swollen nor tender and no irritation at all. Just a pretty, clean looking coochie. It was such a better Brazilian sugaring after experience. I highly recommend it. read more

I came into this store ready for my lash lift and was very disappointed. The lady helping me was very rude and my lash lift burned. This woman also left lash glue on my eye lids. I got sugared by Jen and she was awesome. My first time getting any type of hair removal and it was the best experience I could ask for, now I won't go anywhere else.
