Our waitress, Lisa (FUN SIZE), is such a doll. She has a cute voice and was very accommodating. She mentioned to us if we check in, we get a free soju shot that you can mix with cranberry juice. A one of a kind bikini bar. Place is super chill lots of regulars. Lots of good music, pool and darts. There is even a street fighter video game in the corner. Drinks are average priced, they do have several tv's, a few pool tables, a lounge area, a really modern juke box ( has recent tunes ), cute ladies, beer pitchers were $14, a street fighter machine in the corner, and some taco lady outside who brings your orders inside ( $2 bucks for a pretty large taco ). Can't really ask for more. Bartender Lisa even hung out with us for a bit for a drink and was nice enough to explain how they work, what their specials are, and wasn't pushy about anything. Sunday fun day .... My boyfriend and I work retail so we rarely have days off together so tonight we decided to go play pool and just enjoy our time together. We decided to go to Sugars in Garden Grove and the bartender Lu was amazing!! She told us what was best around drinks, shots, pitchers and after I ordered a pitcher she came by and filled our cups when they got low. It wasn't too busy but she made sure to spend good time with everyone. I wanted to dance but I'm terrible at picking music at the jukebox because I never remember artist names or song names so I asked if should would help and she did, without being frustrated or anything. After picking songs she circled the bar asked what they wanted to listen to so she could make sure everyone was happy. When new people walked in she excused herself from who she was talking to and she greeted them asked if they had been to the bar and did what she could to make sure they had a great experience....overall Lu was AMAZING!! My boyfriend and I were playing pool and a ball got stuck so I asked the manager Jeremy if he could help and he was so quick to help and I had originally apologized for asking and he assured me that he was there to help me, he said I could bother him or ask hi for help anytime no problem. He got our ball that was stuck and asked if we needed anything and asked how Lu was doing. Which we told up she was amazing!! Overall an amazing night!! We've gone to sugars before and had decent times but tonight was by far our best night!! I know that it's because of Lu and Jeremy's service (not just to us but to the whole bar)....thank you!! read more
