Loved returning to this little gem for the first time since moving out of town just before COVID. Happy to see they opened back up. However my 1star is solely the result of the door security guard I interacted with. I think his name was John? As a woman, and a bar manager for 13 + years. Aside from lack of initiative, I wouldn't be comfortable with any female, inebriated or not, being around him. Might be beneficial to observe the character of your forward facing staff. I went to Beach Girls bar this past Saturday it's a cool spot. Multiple TVs playing sports, pool tables, darts, good music on the jukebox. What made it a huge plus was the bartender Becca. To the owner: Yesterday, November 20th between 3:30pm -4:00pm I came to have a drink. Please review the security tapes. I was greeted by a young man wearing a white shirt who asked to see my ID at the door by the jukebox. Being born in 1970 and having visited for a few years, I know it's common to have new employees ask everyone for ID. So without hesitation, I presented my ID while the young man examined it. He then asked if I brought him lunch. I was greeted by your Thursday morning bartender and got my usual drink, put down a $20 next to my coaster and ate my tacos. I only planned to spend about 30 minutes because I had to be in Irvine around 6pm and the traffic was bad. I noticed the guy who had checked my ID was drinking a white claw and sitting next to a smaller guy with an dark Arizona State sweatshirt. They kept saying IDGAF and posting stuff on social media. The guy in white crushed his can and tossed it on the bar like a frat boy. He had a cigarette on his ear which is odd bcz nobody really smokes anymore. It kept falling from his ear. These two guys turned their attention towards me and started calling me Ngr. They then told me they were going to assault me and take my food. I moved my tacos to the left and said,"get away from my tacos". I then asked if they were allowed as employees to ridicule customers with racial slurs. Then they videotaped themselves calling me Ngr and telling me they were going to assault me. At this point I caught the bartenders eye and motioned to cash out. She came over and took my money for my drink. I left bcz I was going to leave soon anyway. My question to the owner: Was he your employee or was he lying. (was the guy in white checking IDs at the door related to you or someone at the bar? Was that somebody's nephew or something learning how to work security?) He said he was an employee when I asked him point blank. It's hard to imagine someone acting that badly knowing it's going to affect their coworkers and boss. read more

My husband and I just moved to Huntington so we've been trying to make it a point explore the area. This is the best bikini bar we've gone to. We went on Friday and there were 3 bartenders. They were all talking to customers, laughing, just being so friendly! There's something for everyone. Some people were dancing back and forth from their table to the jukebox, some were playing pool, and some were just talking to the girls who are soooo nice! Jordyn was serving us and you could just tell she loved being there. She was the sweetest little thing! You could tell it's a bar full of "regulars" but definitely think we're going to be becoming regulars here. read more

This is a usual's bar. Bartenders seem timid/not very personable to a new-comer like myself. I've come on a Thursday afternoon, so the crowd is very sparse. Atmosphere looks like it would be a chill bar during the nighttime. Pool tables, dart boards, giant connect 4, jenga, a touchtunes jukebox, and several TVs make up the entertainment. Let Me start by saying I'm not from the area. After having dinner I Wanted to stop for a drink and talk with my buddy in a quiet setting and was driving by. Spot looked shady and that's usually a good sign of a local bar. There were 8, yes I counted, patrons at the bar on a Saturday night? I wanted quiet and got it. Like walking into a private clubhouse without a membership card. That's when I noticed the very attractive bartender wearing a bikini top and sat at a small high top table with my back to the bar as I am really not into the bikini bar thing as in my opinion feels like the hopeless hangout. Regardless, I saw an another very attractive younger Woman start walking over to the table. I took ten dollars out and put it on the table figured She worked for Rio's to sit and make sad Men feel better and was about to say "This is for My Buddy and I just want a beer before heading out" sort of as a "No need to turn on the charm" but She didn't even look at the cash and asked us what we wanted to drink. This is when I noticed this woman wasn't attractive. She was just shy of stunning! I mean beautiful face, hair, smile and wearing that lingerie looking outfit showed off a really fit figure. We both ordered Coronas and she went to get them. My friend and I read each other's minds and He was shaking his head. He says "Imagine?" And I filled in the blanks. Imagine this young stunning Woman is working in this dump and has to wear lingerie serving drinks to make money? The place is empty on a weekend. I pray to GOD she is not doing any special favors for money and She sure didn't look the part. I figured the beers would be 10 dollars each for some "special delivery" tax but they were regular cost and we left 20 dollars and said "keep the change". She thanks us and walked away. My buddy says "this has to be a front for the owners". That waitress would have been a model in a time when every Woman didn't have an only fans page and acted like a clown on the internet. The thought of the whole thing just ended the night on a sour note . Nothing against the bar at all. Just not my thing and if that waitress sees this, just know You can get a bartending job making hundreds a night with your face, smile and energy alone at an upscale restaurant and or bar/lounge. But if you like what you're doing do what you like. After leaving the bar then noticing the "No gang or club colors allowed" sign on the wall, I may have to duck the local MC now but someone really needs to go and give that waitress a blessing. read more

I've been here a few times, as well as Green Girl further North on Beach Blvd in Westminster. Beach Girls is one of 3 bikini bars on Beach in the area, and IMHO is the best. What I like about BG is that they have HH deals before 5 pm, the place looks somewhat new, and the women are attractive. In contrast, Distinctions in HB is a fukn joke, and Green Girl seems really old inside. In addition, the women at the latter are older, and always seem to be hustling you. In my case at BG, Victoria served me and made a mean michelada. She also went into a philosophical discussion about giving and receiving (LOL). Other pluses are that BG is just North of the 405, and they have PPV nights like the Mayweather/McGregor fight that includes food. I don't think the other places are progressive enough to think of something like that. read more

This hidden gem is a cool treasure to find if you're in town or in a traffic jam. Tori is a very friendly, pretty and personable bartender and Rachel is pretty good too. Great happy hour times and rates. 12p-5p is cool Tuesday- Sunday and Monday is ALL DAY happy hour! $4 shots of Julio, Jameson, titos, fireball can't be beat. Good free WiFi speed. QSC Speaker system for football sounds and jukebox tunes is off the hook. I was lucky enough to partake in there complimentary pizza they ordered for all patrons and staff. It was 2 giant pizza boxes with those squared slices which was good to have and enjoy the football games with the beers. Sunday funday after 1pm The men's bathroom could use a revamp though. Unimpressed. I wanted to see the recent Pacquiao fight so I called to see if they'd show it. Phone rings, goes to voicemail, can't leave a message. I wait a while, call back. Same thing. Over the course of the afternoon I call several times. Same thing. No answer, no ability to leave a message. But their websites says "We Play All Sporting events and Fights" so I should be good, right? Wrong. I show up, no Pacquiao fight. I talk to the girl and she explains that the phone only rings in the office. That means that when the boss is in, someone answers it. But when the boss is out, your out of luck. OK. Well, a free UFC fight's on, maybe I'll hang out and watch that. Except that the TVs that are showing it are out of sync and I'm listening to audio that's three seconds ahead of what I'm watching. Out of sync TV's and stupid phone wiring are simple, fixable issues that any serious sports bar would have addressed years ago. Beach Girls, you're more frustration than you're worth. read more

This is a great spot to stop by on your way to the water, or if you just happen to be in the area and are thirsty for "Adult Beverages". The outside isn't very appealing , and to be perfectly honest the inside isn't either. It's your usual Dive Bar with a few pool tables,....a jukebox and a restroom that would make you consider just using the alley out back. The one thing that does make this Dive better than most are the Girls. Not all of them are 10's, but for the most part they all have been really friendly, attentive and genuine. (yes I know that's how they make their tips usually but this is even with the ones that we aren't tipping) They have great Happy Hour pricing and plenty of TV's, so when football is around you should definitely take advantage. Also, most of the people that make their way in are usually friendly and we always make friends with someone new. So don't let the exterior,.....nor the interior steer you away from this spot. When I arrived there were two bartenders working one was ill and went home the other was proud of the fact that "I got the job because the ads ad said no experience Messi's art" Service was poor at best and my soda was flat! Also, there were flies bussing around the bottles and on me. Took me almost 15 to close out my tab and then she rang it up three times (having to get refunds from my bank). I really enjoyed this place! As a girl walking in alone to meet my friends, I was a little hesitant due to the crowd of rough looking guys smoking out front. I soon found that they were all friendly & even let me bum a smoke. There's also a liquor store right next store which is handy if you forgot your cigs like me. Stephanie, our bartender/server was stunning, like a choir singing in your head every time you look at her type of gorgeous. I couldn't make words come out of my mouth, but my friends talked to her & she was very sweet. The owner Steve came over & talked to our group and made us all feel very welcome. There are 3 pool tables, a giant connect 4 game, lots of tvs, popcorn, plenty of room and seating for our large group of 15. I do believe we will be returning. This dive bar hit the spot. You'll be greeted with a smile when you walk in. The bar counter was clean and Carly (the bartender) was awesome/very nice. She knows how to handle every personality at the bar and make the entire experience a great one. For the regulars, Carly and the staff have keen memory on the drinks that their regulars want without any hesitation based on my observations. The selection on tap was pretty decent for a dive bar. It has the dive bar atmosphere so dont expect the 5 star treatment. Happy hour was great but ends at 5pm. You can play pool and watch your favorite sport. Bartender will ask around for a dollar to play songs since no one is playing anything, which i didnt mind, since i rather have some music playing! Its a hit and miss. You might love it or hate it. Our most recent visit had a drunk waitress asking us several times if we'd buy her a birthday shot. We declined each time. When she came to our table with a shot in hand, we cheerfully sang along with her happy birthday song. We had to fight with her to remove the drink from our tab, then ask our bank to remove the fake tip that she added after the fact. The manager later made excuses for her that she was drunk, so it wasn't a big deal. Done with this place. read more
