Justin and his team were phenomenal and gave us an experience that totally exceeded our expectations. We went with the traditional lobster bake, and the food was excellent(!!!), but honestly, the staff were just as much the highlight -- kind, accommodating, and they made the whole night so easy. Since our family was DIYing pretty much every other part of the wedding, it was such a relief to have a vendor who made things effortless -- we knew we could trust them completely. Guests could not stop raving about the lobster, clams, and sides, and the bartender and food staff were amazing too! Justin also went above and beyond for food allergies, even prepping a separate batch of dairy-free potatoes and rolls. If you want a top-notch lobster bake, book East Coast Clambake -- the food and service were unmatched. Thank you Justin and team for making our wedding so special

Our institute's BBQ party turned out to be the best Boston lobster I've ever had!…read more Steamed 1 1/4 Lobster: The lobsters were incredibly fresh, with plump, firm meat filling every crevice of the shell. Each one had large chunks of roe and brain. This was the first time I'd ever had lobster with roe; many seafood restaurants in Boston don't offer this! Steaming preserved the lobster's aroma and umami to the fullest. Dipped in butter and with a rich, creamy flavor, devouring large chunks of meat was incredibly satisfying. BBQ Baby Back Ribs: Grilled to a tender, fall-off-the-bone perfection, melting in your mouth. A sweet and savory sauce with a slight spiciness, fragrant but not greasy. BBQ Boneless Chicken Breast: Grilled a little too long; chicken breast tends to get dry easily. New England Clam Chowder: Seasoning and texture were perfect. Rich, full-bodied, and incredibly satisfying. Steamed Littleneck Clams and Mussels: A classic New England dish. It seemed to have a fair amount of white wine added; it was a bit acidic, but the wine flavor isn't overpowering, it was quite nice. Red Smashed Potatoes: Mashed potatoes, skin and all, were smooth and creamy with a distinct buttery aroma. The crust was surprisingly crispy, adding a fun texture. Mixed Salad with Homemade Vinaigrette: The rich, gentle aroma of olive oil paired surprisingly well with the vibrant sweetness of strawberries. Cornbread: The best cornbread I've ever had! Soft, moist, naturally sweet, and with a perfectly textured, slightly coarse consistency. Fresh Rolls: They have a thin, crispy crust, a soft interior, and a rich buttery flavor. The bread itself is delicious, but it's even better dipped in clam chowder. Fresh Corn on the Cob: This was boiled sweet corn; it was a little watery but very sweet.

After…read moretouring and speaking with them we were given a few catering companies that they work with as "part" of planning your wedding with them as a venue. We decided with based on what we were seeing that Spice Catering was the better of the options, visually. I will not be personally naming names in this review. However, we had a horrible experience with almost every person we spoke to from Spice.Miscommunications, not responding to emails, telling us one thing over the phone and another thing via contract. The food was good, better than ok but definitely not the type of food where you get to "act" a certain way because it 's just "THAT" good where people could possibly forgive crappy, unprofessional attitudes for. We were told because we were having a week day wedding that there would be an adjusted price, that never happened; apparently we were some how given an "old" catering menu which already reflected a decreased price; and should have used our telepathy to know that. We were asked to make a spread sheet of every guest and what meal they were receiving, plus how many children we had 11 and under etc as this would also change the out the door price. My sister and I ended up doing more work for this catering company than any other vendor we had AND we actually paid the catering company for an ADDITIONAL person who was handling this- we had plated dinner instead of buffet style which apparently for 76 people put spice over the edge. And we were charged initially TWICE for the same guests. 3 days before the wedding they tried to tell us that all of the kids at our event would be eating chicken tenders and not the meals they had picked MONTHS ago when sending back their RSVP'S. This was never discussed as an option at all. What we were told was; that children would get a smaller plated portion of whatever they chose at a discounted rate. Spice was all about the money and all about being as rude as they possibly could and I am truly disappointed in their lack of professionalism, turn around time and their immediate need to blame other people. There was 0 accountability and to be honest I was petrified day of, as food is one of the most important things at a wedding. I do not want any other bride to feel that way, so hopefully after this review Spice gets their act together or other brides go with another catering option.

We loved the stations they offered, so we could offer multiple dishes to our guests and let them pick and chose what they wanted. My client is diabetic so ordering and reordering is easy thanks to this. There is a fair range of selections of entrees in the way of protein and vegetable sides. The meal portions are maybe slightly bigger than a lean cuisine so it may not be for everyone as those portions can be a bit meager. I had one of the meals that my client didn't want - pork tenderloin, carrots, and string beans. I heated it in the oven as recommended and the pork was not bad, nor were the beans. They went a bit heavy on the carrots though. This is only one meal of many however and my client overall has a favorable opinion of them, his favorite being the "American glazed meatloaf" Top Chef has come through in a big way for me with delivering about 2 weeks worth of meals for my client that come about three days after ordering it (If it isn't before the weekend). With the rising popularity of heat and eat and fast prep meal kits, like Hello Fresh, Blue Apron and more this is great for elderly, disabled or otherwise, perhaps people who have next to no time to cook. with a nice selection, good packaging, quick delivery and even a senior discount I'm very satisfied with Top Chef Meals.

I went back a second time to get a Chopped Cheese but it wasn't as good as the first time I ordered it. The first time I came here another staffer made my sandwich. I would say they have to work on their consistency. The customer was good and the staff are really working hard to bring this new business together. I tried the NYC chopped cheese. I switched it up a bit, only because I do not like Mayo and tomato - so I added some jalapeños. It's literally the best cheese steak I've ever had! The flavors were just wow! And I love that they slightly grill the roll - it totally completes the sandwich. They have a great menu, different varieties of food. I'm definitely going back to try the Halal food. Happy we have a new deli in town!

It seems they have a food truck too, but I believe it was not operational during the winter. I tried a few options from here, all vegan, 3 different mini burgers for $10 (I don't see this option on their menu any more), sweet potato fries and onion rings. Everything tasted delicious. The eatery is more of a parking garage and it felt really cold during the winter. They have a bar and it's a self service place. There was only one employee taking the orders. Overall, we had a long wait time before we got our food. I will be back to enjoy the food as the weather is getting warm. I highly recommend this place to vegetarians and vegans.

My husband ordered a cosmo from the bar, I just got a bottle of water. It was pretty expensive and the wait time was LONG. We were the only ones there when we arrived. The drink took at least 15 minutes to come out and was literally the smallest drink I've ever seen. The food took even longer, 20-25 minutes after ordering until it came out. We asked for ketchup, but they never brought it back out to us. There are no condiments or napkins available for self service. One bite of the empanadas and we were met with a strong rancid taste. Same with the onion rings. Completely inedible. I'm not sure if the food was bad or the oil had gone rancid but it was unacceptable. Sliders were ok. The hangover slider was disgusting with an egg patty on it that was easily 3-4 times as thick as the burger itself. Like an omelet. Usually when there's an egg on a burger it's a nice sunny side up fresh egg. This was gross, and it was brown. We took that off. The burger still had a funny flavor so we skipped eating the rest of it. The general tso's slider was good but other than that I had an overwhelming feeling like I was going to get sick from this food. We left the food mostly uneaten and left to go somewhere else. I would definitely not go back!
