I recently purchased a truck from Sullivan Brothers Toyota Nissan in Kingston, MA, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the entire experience. I live out of state in New York, so I was expecting buying a vehicle from several hours away to be complicated, but they made the entire process completely seamless. From the salesperson to the finance manager and Customer Care Manager Michelle, everyone was professional, helpful, and genuinely interested in making sure everything was taken care of. They arranged a convenient meeting location, handled all of the paperwork, and made the out-of-state purchase incredibly easy. What really impressed me was what happened after the sale. I had a couple of concerns with the truck that needed to be addressed in another state, and Sullivan Brothers stepped up and took care of them. They even reimbursed me for repairs that needed to be done locally. That level of customer service is something you don't always see after the paperwork is signed. And perhaps the biggest compliment I can give them: the price they quoted me was the price I paid. No hidden fees, no last-minute surprises, and none of the typical car dealership sleight-of-hand that makes buying a car stressful. Everyone I dealt with was straightforward, honest, and easy to work with. Even though I live in New York and the dealership is in Kingston, Massachusetts, I would absolutely make the trip again. Very disappointed with my experience today. I took time out of my day to come see a vehicle that I had been waiting over two weeks to finally become available to look at. During those two weeks, I had been communicating with Justin Culhane, who told me that once the vehicle was available, I could come see it. The dealership knew I was specifically coming in to look at that car. I came in expecting to see the 2022 Toyota RAV4 listed on their website for $31,994. Instead, when I arrived, I was informed that the vehicle had already been sold. I was then shown a 2023 Toyota RAV4 in the exact same trim and color for $36,000 instead. Had I been informed beforehand that the original vehicle was no longer available, I would not have made the trip. Expecting a customer to suddenly increase their budget by $4,000-$5,000 after arriving at the dealership is unreasonable and extremely frustrating. I felt, and still feel, very deceived by the lack of communication and the inability to negotiate anywhere remotely close to the price of the vehicle I originally came to see. This experience felt very much like a bait-and-switch tactic, and it left a terrible impression. made an appointment online and my dad took my car in for me. He arrived at 10:00 for a 10:15 appointment for an oil change/tire rotation and 2 patches in tires. After a few hours of waiting he told Patty he had been there for 3 hours and wanted to know what was happening. She told him that it hadn't been 3 hours, only 2.5. Eventually they let him know they had to order parts to take my tires off and the car wouldn't be ready until the next day. At 3:30 (5 hours after my car was checked in) my dad was dropped off by a dealership car. Oh and Patty misheard him when he told her where he wanted to get dropped off and told him to call an Uber. We went to go get my car today and it was returned to me covered in bird poop. The video they took of my car when checking it in proves it wasn't not brought in like that. Sold me a used truck that immediately had issues. Although they "say" the issue is fixed after three different attempts that took a total of over six weeks, it's not fixed. They know the issue, but the fix is expensive so they used a bandaid approach and fixed something much less costly just to appease me and make me go away. I would not recommend. read more

When one enters the car buying process with a credit score well into the 850's, there is no need to finance them with a Joe Schmoe bank that is going to quote an interest rate that does not match the aforementioned credit score. This was the absolute worst car buying experience I've ever ever had. The finance guy in particular is dishonest and incompetent. I was very clear that I wanted to use the Toyota direct credit program because they had a very low rate. However, he ran my credit three separate times and then tried to just tell me what my monthly payment would be, avoiding the fact that he had found a 10 1/2% rate with another lender - he was just trying to make more money off of me. I reminded him which rate I wanted, but then allowed me to have, but the damage was done. He dishonestly steered me towards a much worse rate. I am actually filing a claim with the consumer protection agency, better business bureau etc. Additionally, they had told me I was set up with auto pay, however, I've just received a delinquency notice because they screwed that up too. read more

If you would like to step back in time to a world where women are pandered to as less intelligent and only referred to with pet names, I highly recommend John Faucet as your #1 stop for auto sales. Not only was I quoted an increase of $6,000 with the MSRP for a 2025 Sequoia (from the office to when the paperwork was reprinted in the dealership by John - with the same VIN and all matching with the exception of MSRP number), but when I questioned this difference, I was informed with a patronizing "HONEY, do you know how supply and demand works?" I bit my tongue nearly to the point of drawing blood, as this vehicle checked all of the boxes that I was looking for, so I was trying my hardest to overlook the chauvinistic individual that I had to encounter to get this purchase over with. He proceeded to explain to me, as if I were a toddler, that prices go up when things are hard to come by. I calmly addressed the fact that the document I had received (from the exact same dealership) only a couple of hours prior was vastly different in figures and I wasn't seeing the reason for the jump. John stated that it is an addendum that all dealerships do because cars are hard to get since COVID (mind you, this is now 2025). Going against my better judgment, I put a deposit on the vehicle. For the peace of mind, since all of the red flags were waving at this point, I reached out to Route 44 Toyota in Raynham to inquire about this situation that "all dealerships" adjust the price upwards of $10,000 in MSRP for the continued COVID addendum. The person answering the phone laughed and assured me that was not the case. The people I spoke with at Route 44 Toyota were pleasant, not pushy, did *not* call me 'honey' or 'sweetie', and treated me professionally. I was able to find a significantly upgraded model with a better package at the Route 44 dealership and complete the purchase ... with the MSRP as it stood, no 'addendum' (which they stated hasn't been in use for YEARS). They worked with me on numbers and I was able to negotiate it down, while still matching my desired trade-in amount on my existing 2020 Expedition. I hope that John Faucet's wife enjoys being barefoot and pregnant in the kitchen, as he apparently still lives in 1950. As a college educated woman, mother of daughters, and someone who runs a business, the behavior and lack of professionalism John Faucet presents himself with is shameful and embarrassing. Management, do better. Train your staff to realize that individuals coming in to buy a vehicle do not need to be treated as if they are borrowing their Daddy's credit card to do so and should be spoken down to accordingly. Just want to write a review regarding the great customer service I received at Sullivan Brothers Toyota today. I went to the dealer because i needed a service done under warranty. I had an appointment but when I arrived at the dealership I was told it would be an hour wait. Needless to say, I was a little upset due to the fact that I drove 40 minutes from my house to come to the dealer. In any event, I asked to speak to the service manager to see if he or she would be able to help me out with getting the service done sooner than one hour. I've found this place to be what a tv show satirizing car dealerships would be. Sales messes with you and clearly has a very defined technique to squeezing every dollar from you before you realize it. The service department will alarm you about things that don't need maintenance yet. I decided to stop being stupid and no longer go there. In contrast, the dealer I service my other car at gives me a report on what they did (that I authorized), what is showing wear but doesn't need to be addressed yet (unless I want to) and what is an immediate concern. read more

I should start by saying the service technician was efficient and kind and it was easy to book an appointment. Unfortunately I will never return to this dealership: First, there is really limited outdoor seating and that is a huge problem (given that people don't want to wait inside due to Covid). MANY of the employees smoke right by or on the benches for customers. That is really disgusting and a health hazard. It also doesn't look great to your customers to have 5 men with cigarettes hanging out of their mouth leaning against the wall of your main entrance and using loud profanity. The smoking, swearing salesmen and other staff also called all the women "hon" which is really just so dated. People don't do that anymore, welcome to this century. I am pregnant and here with my young child who heard the most disgusting language not to mention the secondhand smoke. Please consider providing a private area for your employees to behave this way out of the customer's view. Is this really how you want to present yourself to potential customers? Went in last year looking to upgrade my vehicle with my pregnant wife and they guaranteed me that they wouldn't run my credit, fast forward 3 months later and I check my credit report and they ran a hard inquiry. Called them and complained they told me give them 30 days to erase it, it's been 10 months and they still haven't done anything. I may not have experience purchasing my own car, but I have accompanied my mom through the process a few times, and each time she was talked into at least one expense she didn't want or need. So I was a little nervous going into this. John was awesome! He introduced himself and asked what I was interested in and then asked about what I wanted for my monthly payment. He didn't even show me any cars over what I could afford. I was so grateful that he didn't make me drool over something that would have been a burden to pay for. Service department is useless. We took our 2014 RAV 4 there due to brakes squeaking and TPMS light going on. We were told that the previous brake job done out of state (NC) wasn't lubricated properly and that nothing was wrong with the tire pressure sensor. They were disinterested in fixing our brakes, didn't offer to correct. We recently moved up here from NC and were trying to establish a service department for our vehicle. We were told to bring it back to NC where it was done originally to have it corrected. How is that logical? As soon as we drove it off the light, the tire pressure light came back on. What a waste of a day. At least they did the oil change that was requested. We will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

Had no idea what the issue was and they took apart the whole motor without my permission. They said it was under the extended warranty that I bought and it apparently was not so the car was never fixed. I'm writing a positive review to help offset some of the bad ones I've read. In October 2018, I bought a used Acura MDX from Sullivan Toyota and overall, the experience was a good one. The only exception is that they tried to lowball me on my trade which is unfortunately expected as that's where dealers make their money (in addition to new car add ons and service), but outside of that, the salesperson, Bob, was low-key and straightforward and the Internet Manager, Tracy was super responsive to my emails. They promised a second key and eventually I did get one and the locksmith came right to my home to set it up. They delivered on everything that was promised. I'll definitely consider them when shopping Toyotas in the future as the product is excellent. They also provide free oil changes for one years on all used car purchases. read more

These guys are the type of people who give car salesmen a bad name. I went in September and agreed to a price for a new car and my trade in. I paid a $2,000 deposit at this time. The price was over MSRP but the trade in was higher than expected so I was ok with it. At the time, they promised a weekly update on the the car. Six weeks later the expected date came and i had not heard a word from them. I sent the salesman Mike about four emails before getting a response. For the next two months, they told me it was two weeks out every few weeks. They were obviously lying, but I tried to be patient. I finally got the call that it was in. I went in and the first thing they did was charge my credit card for another $3,000 then when it was time to discuss the finances, they told me they could no longer offer the trade in value and wanted to decrease it by over $4,000. The manager just kept telling me that Toyota f'd him over by taking too long and it wasn't his fault despite having a signed contract to the contrary. Each time the front desk said the service department was busy and could not take my call, but would call me back. They never did so I drove there and called from their parking lot. Same thing. He was terrific, knowledgeable, very responsive, communicative and all around, a great help. I can't stress enough how great the communication has been. I shopped around, to the tune of six other dealerships. The people here were very professional, which is appreciated after some of my other experiences. The facility is beautiful and clean. They had me in and out quickly, as they are knowledgeable and efficient. They were fair and accommodating, and I feel like a valued customer. Additionally, even after the deal was made, they are still treating me the very same way they did before I agreed to purchase. I anticipate a continued great working relationship with these folks.
