We saw reviews of A Trio, and couldn't be happier with designing and purchasing our wedding bands from here. Amy and Noah are so personable and knowledgeable and we're so patient and helpful as we made decisions. I'd also like to credit that Noah spent an equal amount of time with my husband deciding what ring he'd like. Oftentimes the bride gets a lot of the attention, so this was very special and memorable for my husband. We were so impressed by them, we also worked with them to create a custom ring for my mom and purchased a necklace for my husband's mom. As long as we're living in the Milwaukee area, A Trio is where we'll be purchasing jewelry!

I first had Amy change my engagement ring into a pink sapphire (life changes) and she was really great about kindly suggesting what would work well but happy to take my decision (I went with her recommendation and loved it). Just now I dropped off my beloved late grandmother's engagement ring that I inherited because it lost a tiny stone. They were super sweet about advising what would match, and they said I don't need all the prongs redone now but they will be happy to check it any time (twice a year) and let me know when. I found their prices to be impressively reasonable. My mom was a little worried thinking such a nice independent place would be pricy, but it's totally reasonable. I don't see myself ever using another jeweler.

She was so friendly, genuinely loves what she does, and likes making people happy (you can tell). I found my band right away - it was her first recommendation as to what would go with my engagement ring. My husband, on the other hand, had a few rings ordered to be sent to the store to try before he bought. He didn't love either, so Karin recommended a ring that was almost a combination of the 2. He had to buy it before seeing it though as it was custom made. Needless to say, he made the right decision. His ring is great too. He also purchased a fab necklace for me for the actual wedding day from Kloiber which I love! Over the last few months, I have been into Kloiber (the new location is in the US Bank building - go up the main escalator to the Galleria level and you will practically run into it) several times - ring sizing, ring cleaning, ring pick up, necklace shortening, etc. I'm sure it would be fine if you just stopped in (ring the bell), but I would suggest making an appointment - they are very good by email as well. Everyone I encountered has been absolutely fantastic to work with. Excellent customer service. I honestly couldn't recommend a place more than Kloiber. They are fantastic.

The gals offered me a few different vintage chain options and edited the piece on the spot! She was patient when it didn't fit and kindly added an extra link to the newly edited piece. That extra mile is what makes any business stand out from the rest, and I very much appreciated it! There were 4 different gals working and each of them were a part of my store experience. I love that vibe - a nice cross between slumber party vibe, girly pop vibe and artsy vibe. Most of their pieces are sterling silver or brass, but they have a handful of pieces in 14k and gold fill. I got a mixture of both! Their sweet spot price point is "affordable" while some pieces are definitely spendy. I've got my eye on a vintage wedding band for $3k. The store is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays! Plenty of street parking in front! Yes they have a bathroom that's roomy and clean (and chic!)

Working with Tim at Powers Jewelry to create my custom engagement ring was an incredible experience. This was a very special and sentimental project because it incorporated my grandmother's diamonds, so finding someone I could trust was incredibly important. Overall I met with 6 different Jewelers in Milwaukee, and Tim / Power's effortlessly won me over! Over the course of our three-month journey, Tim was endlessly patient, understanding, and supportive. I changed my mind multiple times, went back and forth on designs, and obsessed over every little detail, but he never made me feel rushed or overwhelmed. Instead, he always listened carefully, offered honest guidance, and helped me feel confident in every decision from the jewelry perspective. The final result exceeded all of my expectations. My engagement ring is absolutely stunning, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Tim truly helped bring my vision to life while honoring the sentimental value behind the piece. At this point, my entire family has met Tim, and we all absolutely love him. Powers is absolutely fantastic. Greg is great, Tim is great, and so is Dick. I went in to purchase an engagement ring for my fiancé, I have never had more of a stress-free experience. These guys know their stuff, and know how to sell without pushing a sale. They got me to the price I needed, and I promise you, I must hear 10-15 compliments a week. Her ring is absolutely beautiful, I went back and picked out her wedding band for our wedding in June. Never again will I go to any other jeweler because they have truly gained our business for life. Where to begin?...I stopped in to Powers to begin the process of buying an Engagement Ring. Their friendly, knowledgeable staff helped me understand the "Four C's" of Diamond Buying, and even let me look under the scope! They also advised me to shop around at other jewelry stores, which I did. But because Powers Jewelers took the time to educate me, and because the prices they offer are the best, I got my Engagement Ring there...and she loved it! While I was waiting for my watch battery to be replaced, I took a quick look at all the gorgeous pieces that they have at the store. I noticed unique antique pieces as well as gemstones and diamonds. A gorgeous pink tourmaline piece caught my eye and I fell in love with how unique it looked. The next day I found out that the ring had a spot on the metal and I brought it back where the amazing jewelers fixed it up! I compared their rings to many other big-box stores and I found that at Sullivan's, you could customize the bands and it would be more cost effective. More importantly, you wouldn't be getting something that EVERYONE else has. The service was great. Over the course of a couple visits, we had a few people help us, including the owner Jeff. Jeff was friendly and personable in our experience. He even polished up my partner's old ring at no charge after we purchased our new ones. I'm surprised there aren't any reviews yet for this shop. I definitely recommend checking it out before going to department store.

(Wis Stat 100.18 bans false or deceptive sales claims. Wis Stat 100.20 empowers the state to enforce fair-dealing in commerce) Note that if a business charges more than the estimate without prior notification and approval - or overcharges beyond posted price- YOU have the right to a refund of the overcharge and in service contexts- potentially double damages in small claims court. He is now well informed so I expect this practice to stop immediately. If they break your jewelry while attempting to make a repair YOU have the right to tell them to stop and give you all the pieces so you can take it elsewhere if that is your desire. At minimum, they must call you and tell you what needs to be done, how much it will cost and get your approval before doing anything else. Mitch, maybe you should give me a call tomorrow, or now if you'd like, and you can discuss this with me professionally. I needed my wedding set sized down. It was uncomfortably too big. I was quoted $135 and a 3week wait at one place. Paul's jewelers quoted me $100 and a week turnaround at most. I go to pick-up my ring and I'm blinded by the shine! But not blinded enough because I definitely saw the $190 price on the card reader. I pushed back and the lady proceeds to say $100 for the sizing, yes. The rest is for the cleaning. I know that standard cleaning comes with jewelry repair because jewelry gets very dirty during repairs. So why am I being charged nearly double? She says it's the Rhodium coating, to make it shiny! I didn't ask for anything more than a sizing and the cleaning that comes with it. She did me a favor and gave me a discount Seriously?! So I'm not familiar with this special cleaning they did and look it up. Google ai says " Rhodium Plating: Commonly used on white gold and silver, this process involves plating the jewelry with a thin layer of rhodium--a rare, white precious metal. This gives the jewelry a bright, silvery-white look and provides a protective coating that prevents tarnish and scratches." Did I mention my ring is YELLOW GOLD? So why would someone just naturally assume to plate my yellow gold ring?! Will never step foot back there again. I'll bet Paul's spinning in his grave that this is how his business is being run! They are crooks and I'm certain that too many people fall for their BS!!

Vivian greeted me at the door upon my arrival. Vivian had all my information on the ring and led me to the station to show me. She went over the details, the quality, what it meant, showed me a few other stones but when she asked me if I wanted to look at any other style, I knew that was the one. I wasn't planning on purchasing a ring that day, but when you find that one ring that you know is the one, what else is there to do? After the purchase, Craig Husar came up to say hi and to chat. I thought that was really nice that he took the time to come up to congratulate me and to thank me for coming in. Then I came back in with my girlfriend as she wanted to get me sized. Vivian took the hint to not let her know that I've been working with her. She kept it a secret. Grandma Carol (now happily retired) walked me through a variety of styles taking note each time of what I liked and didn't until she presented me with a set that combined all the elements that had made my face light up. With my part done my fiance went back and looked through the loose diamonds until he found the perfect center stone. They serviced my ring repeatedly over the years. Sizing it up while I was pregnant and back down after my babies were born. They repaired a shank that cracked because I wore my ring to the gym while lifting weights and repaired a prong that I snagged and bent. For our 20th anniversary we had a custom enhancement made that made me fall in love with my ring all over again. I have other pieces from Kessler's as well: earrings, several chains and my favorite cross necklace. I hadn't needed anything in several years, but am now looking for another piece of bling. I showed up at the Brookfield store and was greeted by Ari who was able to read my mind and guide me to the perfect ring for me. She ordered one brought over from another store and has done some incredible logistical coordination setting a loose diamond into a Kessler's setting. There are a few extra costs when the center stone isn't purchased from them (cost to set the stone and an appraisal fee), but that seems logical to me. They are and will continue to be my jeweler!! Yes, there are the big box stores but I have usually shopped at the private stores. I was in need of earrings and did a search. I found Lake Country and decided to drive over to see what inventory they had. Driving up to the store immediately made you wonder if you were in the right place as it was a well manicured farm, farm house, outbuilding for another business and the stand alone jewelry store. Country looking building. Walked in to see show cases outlining the front room and in the back was the repair equipment. I was treated immediately by Michelle and she asked me all sorts of questions to try and narrow down my search. Showed me many options and explained the differences. I needed something special for a birthday that would also be used for an upcoming wedding and eventually I found exactly what I was looking for. Never any pressure. We discussed pricing and they wrapped it for me. And the gift...her eyes were wide as saucers when she opened it, and she loves the earrings. Great experience and I will come back here for other items in the future. It is worth the visit if you are looking for high end jewelry.

Jeff, the owner was very nice, but over promised and under delivered. We brought in 2 watches at…read morethe beginning of April to be 'tuned up'. He said it would take 6-8 weeks. After 3 months, I called and they weren't ready. After 2 more weeks, I called again and they were supposedly started but not done. A couple more days went by so I called again. One watch was done, the other one was not. After 'hemming and hawing', Michell gave the phone to Jeff. He said it would be at least 2 more months if they could even work on the second watch. It turns out he didn't have tools or access to parts for that watch. It was like pulling teeth to get him to admit that! His work seems to be good, his communication is abysmal. We had him close up the second watch and took it across town to another jeweler to get this one worked on. Very disappointed!!
