This was my second time ordering from Sultan's Grill and I went with the gyro plate again since I love gyro meat. I always ask for the meat to be a little crispy and they get it just right. The plate comes with lamb and beef gyro meat, rice, salad, hummus, and pita. I also asked for their orange yogurt sauce and hot sauce. My partner loves the orange sauce and says it has an umami flavor. For me it is just okay, but I really enjoy their hot sauce. It is not the usual sambal you get at a lot of Mediterranean spots. It has more of a salsa style taste which sounds a little odd but actually works really well. It has flavor without being too spicy, though I do like my food extra spicy. The rice here is also worth mentioning because it is so flavorful and has that umami taste that makes you want to keep eating it. The owner is always very friendly and welcoming too. The restaurant is right next to Target which makes parking really easy. Highly recommend this spot. I will definitely be back and next time I'll probably branch out and try something new. read more

Was craving something different and have seen this location for many years. Stopped by and ordered a Number 4 combo plate. While waiting I saw that they have limited seating and their soda machine was out of order. Food did take a second to get ready and had to repeat twice what I ordered, but not the end of the world. I'm surprised to be giving 3 stars with many other 4+ ratings. Maybe my expectations were too high coming here based on other reviews. The food was average. Nothing bad, but nothing outstanding either. The best things on the plate were the salads. The falafel was OK. The rice not very flavorful and nothing to mix it with. Also not impressed that they were out of pita. I mean really? A core dish of the cuisine and you're out? Make more. Go buy more already made. Came back to try their plates and other dishes. Shawarma was seasoned well, not too dry and paired with the savory rice was delicious. Salads are tangy, and the rawness of the red onion adds some balance to the saltiness. Lamb shish was seasoned well but dry from being overcooked. Nicest dude at register, and i feel like i am eating in turkey. The service is like a restaurant with actual silverware when you order and eat in, and they bring it to your table. There are 6 tables that hold 4, so not much space if they get super popular, which they could with such good food at very good prices. I was going to get the lamb shawarma ober fries for $15, but for $16, you can replace fries with rice, and lots of veggies, worth it. 100% halal menu, which is great for those with dietary restrictions. Service was a 5/5. My review is specific to the food, which was disappointing. We ordered a lot of meat skewers and rice. Every single piece of meat was cooked so quick and at high temperatures that there was absolutely no moisture or tenderness to the meat and it was very difficult to chew. The meat also didn't have much flavor at all. This is the issue with finding good kebabs at restaurants in that if you don't cook it at the right temperature for the proper amount of time, it completely ruins it. Wow! What a hidden gem. Had to run some errands near by and wanted to find something for lunch. I love Mediterranean food especially their wraps. So I decided to try this place and let me tell you it was amazing. The best Gyro wrap I had so far. I been to 5 different places I tried and this one is by far the best. It's a must try! I got the lamb and beef gyro wrap. It was not gamy at all and it was so juicy. They even gave extra sauce on the side for it. Portions are generous, which is always a plus. One thing I did notice though--the menu prices on Yelp seem a little outdated. It looks like they've gone up by $2-3 since it first opened (which wasn't that long ago). That being said, still worth it. Customer service was great. The two guys working the late shift couldn't have been nicer, and I really felt taken care of. Just a heads up: orders can take 15-20 minutes, and they even have a sign mentioning it. Not a huge deal since that means your food is fresh, but something to keep in mind if you're short on time. There's a Target next door if you need to kill time while you wait. We tried the combo mix plates, and they didn't disappoint. I'll definitely be back to try more, especially the kofte. I found this spot while roaming the Plaza near Target with five other people at around 7:15 PM, and they allowed us to move some tables together so we could all fit comfortably. The staff was extremely welcoming and took the time to explain the menu when we weren't sure what to get. There are plenty of available seats with a TV playing music videos. There were also Turkish Delight candies at the front which were all soft and delicious. The staff let me taste them before buying. We got the Gyro dishes and each of us were given a side of pita and hummus along with the massive meals. Every bite was full of flavor and we left extremely full. This was my second time here and let me say, the food was amazing and full of flavor! I ordered the falafel wrap and fried Kubah appetizer. The falafel wrap comes with lemon pepper fries, that were hot and fresh and nicely seasoned. The kubah was amazing and exactly what I was craving! Squeezed some lemon juice on top and it was chefs kiss! Service was 10/10 both men were very helpful and kind. Told them what I wanted and they did not disappoint. Food was brought out fast, and piping hot. Nothing is made until you order it so you know you're getting the best quality food. The Chicken Shawarma is very good and large, have enough for another meal. Three sauces are included- red hot chili sauce, a dill sauce and hummus sauce. I like the hummus and the dill sauce the best. Since I live quite far away, next time I would opt to eat there as the tortilla gets on the tough side when it cools down. Tio's which i and my coworkers love was closed that day so we ordered to go here since it was saying they are half a mile from our work. To our dismay, first their address is published wrong . Second, I called several times and spoke to the owner and asked for extra pitas and extra hummus. When I arrived I again asked him since I bought a lot and I even said even if I have to pay extra, he told me yes, yes and yes. The place was empty and full of flies. And now the reveal, there was no extra piece of pita or hummus at all! The owner is so dishonest he told me twice he put a lot but there was none! Seasoned well, the meat had some crispy edges (which I love). I then came back and tried the number 04 Lamb and beef gyro plate, which does numbers at my house. It's really good, and the ground texture of the meat makes it easy for small kids to eat/chew (for you parents out there). Both come with carrots and red cabbage which add a crunch and acidity I like. I've had one issue since coming here repeatedly, and it was remedied the next day.
