The food was yummy. Authentic. Reasonably priced. Friendly service. Clean establishment. They also have televisions if you wanted to eat and watch a game.

The food here was hella good, would definitely come again and recommend it to my friends and family

Appetizer Combo Plate, Chicken Shish Salad
    David K.

Sultan's Grill is a simple, casual, neighborhood Turkish restaurant located in Bayfair Mall. The Appetizer Combo Plate was a delicious assortment of mezzes and salads including hummus, babaghanoush, falafels, dolmas, tabbouleh, lettuce, red cabbage, carrots, and red onions, dressed with balsamic vinegar. My favorite components were the chunky babaghanoush and the flavorful dolmas, but everything went nicely with the warm pita bread on the side. While the quality of the food here was just average and the wait times rather long, the service was incredibly friendly, and the prices were reasonable too!

2 - 10. Suitans Family Combo - missing an item on both trays?
    Cheryl M.

Food is delicious but item noted on their menu not delivered. Ordered 2 of the #10 Sultan Family Combo which is listed to have the following items: * Lamb and chicken shwarma *** MISSING*** * 3 skewers of chicken shish kebab * 3 skewers of lamb * 3 skewers of adana kebab (ground beef) along with hummus, salad, rice and pitas We received most items MINUS the lamb and chicken shwarma...we called up and an employee said "oh the online menu is incorrect not sure why its on there"....well, looking at your menu at the location it notes lamb and chicken shwarma for $75. So either you were misinformed and forgot the item (it happens) or just blatantly lied. If it's truly a mistake (online menu) then your in-store MENU needs to be corrected as someone "not so nice" will call you on it. Again. food delicious but CHECK YOUR FOOD before leaving as per the menu and pricing has 4 meat items! It was flavorful, delicious and no complaint on items but leaves a bad taste when you don't receive what's noted. 4 stars for food minus 2 stars for inconsistent explanation/missing item...

I'm surprised to be giving 3 stars with many other 4+ ratings. Maybe my expectations were too high coming here based on other reviews. The food was average. Nothing bad, but nothing outstanding either. The best things on the plate were the salads. The falafel was OK. The rice not very flavorful and nothing to mix it with. Also not impressed that they were out of pita. I mean really? A core dish of the cuisine and you're out? Make more. Go buy more already made. Or at least offer a discount or a free drink or something. The hummus was also non-existant on my plate. Since I didn't have pita to go with it, I didn't ask for it. Service was slow. Our order was taken quickly, but then it took a long time to get our food despite three people working in the kitchen. It was 7:30pm on a Saturday night and it's not like there was a ton of food going out for doorsah of anything like that. There were three other parties waiting for food in the dining room. When food did come out it was sporadic. I was half done with mine before my son's plate came out.

    Lamb and beef shawarma
    Dan V.

Came back to try their plates and other dishes. Shawarma was seasoned well, not too dry and paired with the savory rice was delicious. Salads are tangy, and the rawness of the red onion adds some balance to the saltiness. Lamb shish was seasoned well but dry from being overcooked. Maybe 2 minutes less on the grill and rested would be good. Small thumb sized baklava is really good but $3.50 per piece seems a little pricey to me for the size.

    01. Lamb Shawarma Plate with real silverware and such soft pita.
    Jim L.

Nicest dude at register, and i feel like i am eating in turkey. The service is like a restaurant with actual silverware when you order and eat in, and they bring it to your table. There are 6 tables that hold 4, so not much space if they get super popular, which they could with such good food at very good prices. So, like a restaurant, made to order and slow, very slow, but good slow. I was going to get the lamb shawarma ober fries for $15, but for $16, you can replace fries with rice, and lots of veggies, worth it. Their spicy sauce has something more than just sriracha, so that makes me happy too! The lamb was not sitting in the sauce, so dry, but at this price, not expecting chops. If they had chops, i would here with $30. Did not try their pastries, but will come back and try their baklava!

A new hidden gem!! Delicious food especially their Turkish delights! When we arrived there were people waiting for their food and I would say it was about 10-15 min but definitely worth it! We have a little one who was getting a bit antsy and one of the servers brought her French fries first! It was so thoughtful and excellent way to keep her occupied while we wait. Everything was delicious especially the falafel balls and the combo plate. The lamb and chicken were cooked to perfection. And don't get me started on the selection of sweets! We got a baklava and some Turkish delights. I will say we are definitely coming back.

shoutout to seeing this on yelp because it's 10/10

Always great service! came back for a new item and as usual it didn't disappoint! Great food!

Beef and Lamb Gyro plate (16.99). It was massive and came with a side of pita bread and dip for free!

I found this spot while roaming the Plaza near Target with five other people at around 7:15 PM, and they allowed us to move some tables together so we could all fit comfortably. The staff was extremely welcoming and took the time to explain the menu when we weren't sure what to get. There are plenty of available seats with a TV playing music videos. There were also Turkish Delight candies at the front which were all soft and delicious. The staff let me taste them before buying. We got the Gyro dishes and each of us were given a side of pita and hummus along with the massive meals. Every bite was full of flavor and we left extremely full. This is definitely the spot to go if you would like friendly and accommodating staff with large portions of great food. There are plenty of parking in the plaza.

It's alright. Honestly it's pretty expensive for what you get. $19 for a plate with 2 chicken skewers. Some rice, hummus and "salad". I ordered the #6. The guy working was friendly but was working alone and he said my order would be 15 mins, it took almost 25mins, and that was even after a 2nd guy came to help him, there was only one person ahead of me. Also the whole time i was waiting for my food i kept hearing the sound of a microwave going on and off.. so they use a microwave to heat stuff up???

We tried the lamb and chicken kebobs, the beef bowl, fries, and Sheer Chai. The lamb was the standout: incredibly juicy with a perfectly seasoned marinade. The chicken and beef were both tender and flavorful, and even the fries were packed with seasoning. The cilantro and spicy dipping sauces were excellent, and took everything up another notch. I loved the Sheer Chai too, which was traditionally flavored with cardamom and pistachio, and a lovely pink color. The owners were incredibly kind and attentive, especially since we dined in. The restaurant itself is very small and tucked into Foothill Square next to the liquor store, so it seems like most people order takeout. The food is absolutely worth the visit though. We will definitely be back.

I placed an online order for lamb kabob and chapli, but shortly after I got a call from (I'm guessing) the owner letting me know they were out of chapli. I switched to the tikkah kabob instead. The restaurant is in a pretty sketchy area, but the owner was very nice and welcoming when I picked up my order. The portions were generous with plenty of meat and rice. I did notice that some Yelp photos showed a salad included, but mine didn't come with one. I think the meal could really use some greens to balance out the heaviness of the meat, rice, and pita. The tikkah was a little on the salty side, but the lamb was good. The highlight for me was the green sauce which tasted fresh, citrusy, and cilantro-based. My partner loved it too. The pita bread, however, didn't come with any sauce. I wish it had something like hummus or a yogurt dip to go with it. If I go back, I'd want to try the chapli. Overall, it was solid but not a spot I'd make my regular since I can usually find Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food under $20 that comes with meat, rice, and salad included. Here, it looks like they charge $5 extra for a salad, and factoring in the location, I don't think I would pay that.
