I love coming here for lunch! Fast service and the employees are always super nice. I usually order the falafel salad without the dressing (instead with a little drizzle of olive oil and vinegar) with green (fiery chili) tzatziki sauce. I like to dip my falafel AND my salad in the tzatziki sauce. The sauce is amazing! I wish they would sell it in tubs so that I could buy it to dip some pita bread or some veggies in it at home. The falafels are best when they're fresh out of the fryer. Don't forget the baklava for dessert! You will definitely feel full and satisfied after a meal here. read more

I've been here before the renovation and after. I have been a fan of the food before and after the renovation. However, I love their new dining area it's a lot more spacious and I think the set up looks really nice too. The Sultan is ON today. Chicken Shwarma was my choice for the first visit to this little hole in the wall Gyro shop. Not much seating, be prepared to eat on the curb or on the go. On arrival, pay note of the "order" line. It starts at the back and is easy to miss if not paying close attention. ( I was not ...). Also, come with realistic expectations. It's a bit grimy, noisy, and sloppy. All the things that make for a great place like this. As for the food! The chicken was average but generous in portion. Veggies are fresh, particularly the tomatoes. Beware, the olives are strong on this one. What saves the meal is the sauce. I went with the red sauce, but the standard cucumber looked very good, and they have a spicy green for those with a flare for the fantastic. Only drawback is that the "Nahn" came out of a bread bag that literally said "NAHN". I was hoping for something made on site. FOUR STARS! I look forward to my next visit. read more

This place was cheap and fast to get pretty good Mediterranean. The line was a bit long but it was also lunch hour on a weekday but it didn't take very long to get food. The red tzatziki was delicious but when described as a spicier version of the traditional style, I wouldn't consider it spicy. The falafel was nice and crispy. We had been meaning to try this place for forever and finally made it in a couple weeks ago. It's a little restaurant with not too much as far as frills and decorations. There are tables and booths in the front and the back is taken up by a glassed in serving area where you pick your noms. Its nice that this place labels their menu even online with what is gluten free and what isn't. They were very knowledgeable of what was safe for me and served me up an awesome plate of chicken shawarma and tikka korma with rice. Both were good but the korma was definitely my favorite. My fiance got the gyro and loved it. He literally devoured it in seconds, so that's quite the compliment from this picky guy. I also really loved the soft potato wedges they served on the side. Price is really reasonable and portion sizes are great, especially the size of that gyro. I definitely recommend trying this place out, especially if you can't have the gluten and want a safe a delicious meal. read more

This place seems like a hole-in-the-wall Mediterranean casual dining restaurant. After one of the football games, we came in here to grab a bite. I was pleasantly surprised with the food! They serve falafel and kabobs, they also have some Indian-like cuisine. I ordered the korma and got a side salad as seen in the photo. The other container held a dairy, almost tsaziki like sauce, which is spread on top of the korma which tasted phenomenal. I wasn't 100% sure on what this restaurant was supposed to serve, but from my limited knowledge of mediterranean food, it seemed like the salad in my photo was more Mediterranean, and the food itself was more Indian. read more

I tried the Chicken Shawarma on salad and left feeling full, satisfied and guilt free since I skipped out on the rice and pita. To indulge, I got a side order of the falafel and they were crunchy and delicious. I can now see why the front desk agent at the Cornhusker Marriott, who referred me eats here 5 days a week. I've been a customer for over 5 years and going 2 or 3 times a month. I really like the gyros no matter which type I get. The inside eating area is fairly large so seating is usually not a problem even during busy times and is kept fairly clean. The staff is friendly and accommodating to requests. I was disappointed on my last visit due to the taste of the baklava. I've had it several times because the taste justifies the cost. Maybe they had an off day or they changed the recipe but the pieces I got were far from the usual sweetness and texture. read more

One of my favorite lunch haunts. I've always had a good experience here. The line moves quick and staff are friendly and hospitable. I've tried everything from gyro with pita, chicken Shawarma, and chicken tikka korma with rice. All are good, it just depends on what you are craving that day. The biggest pros: They have amazing red and green Taziki varieties, for spice lovers, in addition to your classic Taziki sauce. The cons: no jalapeños and while the gyro meat is good, it doesn't compare to Ali baba's for me. I was finally over eating burgers while on vacation here in Lincoln NE so the hubby and I decided to look for different options. We went to a Thai place and we literally ran out after reading the reviews. So we ended up here and we are soo happy we did. We were greeted by a super chill and friendly guy with a pretty kool beard. My redneck husband seemed scared at first but once he grabbed his chicken gyro he was impressed!!!! Loved the feta and well seasoned chicken... I had the lamb beef gyro and it was amazing !!... we ordery a Side the potato wedges totally recommend and a Side of rice for our 2 year old monster .
