DON'T EXPECT COMPASSION. I've gone to this place for a couple of years and the techs have been polite and have done a good job. No complaints UNTIL last week. I had an eyelash appt at 10:00, so I called shortly after 9:00 -when they open- to say I had to reschedule due to a family emergency.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've never been late or a no show. Ever. And I understand last minute cancellations are inconvenient but this was an exception. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The woman on the phone said she'd have to mark me as a "no show" since I didn't give at least 2 hours but I reminded her that they don't open until 9:00. I purchased a $49 microdermabrasion facial deal on Groupon many months ago. They talked me into paying $42 more to get the aquapeel treatment. I only upgraded bc the front desk girl insisted that this treatment will lighten my brown spots and the esthetician also recommended it. She was so gentle yet understood my skin's needs and took care of my concerns. She spent 30 minutes doing extractions which I didn't expect but really appreciated. I liked coming here because of Alice but she is not here anymore so it's been an unfortunate event .I came here 2.5 weeks ago for a 3D eyelash and the first day I really liked it. This is suppose to "last longer than the mink" that I usually get. However, starting day 3 alot has started to fall out. Then yesterday morning I had met my friend who got her eyelashes done the same exact day as me except from a different tech in San gabriel. Majority of her eyelashes were all still intact and she even question what was wrong with my eyelashes since so many has fallen out. I said yah I never had this problem with my old tech Alice. I always had it last atleast 3 weeks. Then yesterday I got the refill since and I was asked why it looked so different and there isn't the curls as the first time. Here is her response: " Today you did a refill so there's old material mixed with the new one the old materials' direction may affect the new material as well. Please let us know if it falls fast this time! And you could change to another technician or material if you want to." First of all, I have done eyelashes for 15 years and I am aware of how It can appear. But after 2weeks and 2 days later, if I am getting a retouch I do not expect to pay over $80 for it to look different and had them already starting falling out (today). I even asked if she Will clean the old lashes prior to applying the new one and she said yes. However, she lightly wiped it with a qtip leaving crust in random places unlike when Alice had cleaned the old lashes it would look clean and nice with the refills set. I think service with down here. Lashes starting falling out day 2 and you pay for refills to looks different. I highly recommend going to Alice and wish I have done so but she is not here. read more
