She took care to ask what kind of look I was going for. I called asking to speak to the manager, and the girl who answered her name was Becky, kept saying that the manager is busy or that she wasn't in and when I asked to leave a message or to let me know what day I could call back to talk to the manager she kept saying she doesn't know or tried to brush it off. I just don't think that is good customer service at all and it felt lazy and almost as if she was trying to stop me from speaking to the manager. I came in last minute for a lash removal and the service was great from everyone. I'm usually really fidgety because I get anxious when my eyes are closed for too long but Tina was soo kind and patient. She even showed me all the different lash hair types and showed me their pricing pamphlet. I love how relaxing it is too. They play music to help you relax and their beds are super comfy. This will be a very honest review. I thought the venue itself was cute and aesthetic. My lash tech was very sweet so five stars for her hospitality and patience! The only reason I give this place a 2 star is because of the lash quality. I get my lashes done pretty often and have been searching around for new places for a while now, I finally got to try Sumi & it wasn't what I expected given the really good reviews. What I first noticed is they don't use a lash primer, which made my retention really short. It's been less than a week and half my lashes are gone (i make sure to do all the lash aftercare steps). Also, my eyes got kind of irritated because the base of the extensions are really chunky, I think they might have used too much glue. I also noticed it's super hard to fully brush through my lashes, some of them are stuck together. All in all, I do really like the interior and how nice the staff is. I do think they have a lot of potential though, so I might give them another try in a few months. read more

Very clean, detail oriented lash tech Nikki is amazing at what she does. I never feel like she's rushing or trying to get me in and out. She takes her time to get the perfect look and checks in to make sure that your eyes aren't irritated. With her, I've had really good retention compared to other places I've been. At fist all the option were a little overwhelming, I had no clue what to pick and so went with natural and something else I can't remember . Due to the amount of eyelash I have they were way too thick for my liking. I would suggest have a picture of what you want so she can tell you what to get . That being said I came back in and Jennifer fixed them by taking off half the amount she originally put on and added some longer pieces .. OUCH. I needed some lashes because my usual lash tech was booked. I took the chance & decided to go on yelp to find some options. I found this one & I made an appointment same day. I like to be a little early (my appointment was at 6:30) & they didn't let me wait inside so I went next door to kill time & when it was finally time I went back I STILL waited another 30 minutes for someone to see me. Employees were just walking back & forth & no one acknowledged me. Finally one of the girls took me back & got to work. It was hard to chose what I wanted because I'm used to "natural, hybrid & mega" but here it's much more complicated. They recommended one (hybrid looking) & i went with that one. Anyways, she got to work & towards the end, she was pulling on my eyelashes & I made it very clear I was in discomfort. After 3 hours, all was done & I went on my way. A week later they were starting to grow out & were irritating my eye so much. I figured it might have been my fault for lack of washing them but when they started to fall off, my natural eyelashes were starting to come off. It's been extremely difficult to care for these & I was able to get this picture. They don't care about you natural lash, they're just trying to jam as many lashes on your eyelash. I've tried many lash techs but none have given my eyes such discomfort. won't be back. Below is the eyelash that was irritating me so much. I'm very thankful to Liz at the front desk for reaching back out to me. She always so funny, warm, and friendly. She is truly a gem and Sumi is very lucky to have her I was set up with Mandy who I am told is one is their most experienced technicians. Her work is FLAWLESS. I wanted to love this place. I wanted to believe the reviews. Everyone is extremely nice, that's the one good thing. But I won't be back. First visit, on the fourth day I had barely any eyelashes on one eye. I didn't call because it was Christmas and I didn't want to deal with it. But it looked terrible for photos. I waited 15 days to go back. I went back in hopes to give it one more try, I explained to the front desk girl I didn't want the first girl again and explained why.. she was polite and apologetic. She mentioned we could talk about it in person when I came for my appt. When I got there (not sure it was the same girl I had texted earlier that day) but she didn't appear to want to have anything to do with me. I was disappointed because my first visit, the front desk girl was amazing! Anyway, my appt was 15 minutes late starting, then when I went back to the room, the front desk girl was getting her eyelashes done. Which I thought was odd because now the other girls doing the actual eyelashes had to constantly stop what they were doing to assist the reception area. I also felt uncomfortable with the girl doing my eyelashes because she completely ignored my request for a classic set. I chose the cheapest option because I wanted to give them a second try! I didn't really trust spending a lot on lashes that weren't going to stay in! I felt uncomfortable and caved in on getting something I didnt want, which is my own fault for not standing up for myself. Anyway, I got back there and she started on my left eye, seemed to go well until she stopped halfway through and told me she'd be right back. I figured she'd use the restroom for something so I didn't think anything of it until I heard her next to me. I'm pretty sure she was working on another client. After which felt like forever, she came back and started working on me again, when she started to work on my right eye she says, "i need to get more material." Well I knew that was a lie because I heard her roll over to the girl next to me and start working on her. I could peek out of my left eye and saw her over there. Why lie? lol So I waited another 10-15 minutes for her to finish what she was doing and come back to me. Both times I could hear her cart go from me to the other girl and back. Now while this was all stuff that isn't that big of a deal, what is a big deal is how long it took. I was laying there for 2 hours and 15 minutes!!! I tried twice and I wont be back again! read more

Everyone is very nice and the salon is cute and super clean. My complaint is that after ONE week, my left eye has significantly less lashes than my right eye. Compared to other places I've been to, i feel that the lashes I get done here fall off very quickly. I've been getting my lashes done for years and for the price they charge, the lashes should last longer than one week.
