I was nervous because it was my first time getting eyelash extensions. My appointment was on Saturday at 11:45am It was quite busy in the morning. The vibe was really nice and clean. Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized that I wasn't satisfied with how my lashes looked underneath. It looked very spacey, but when I called regarding my concerns .They immediately said they can accommodate to fix my concerns and they scheduled me asap, which I was able to come in on Monday morning and JoJo fixed my lashes . I came out happy and satisfied after all. I love their customer service to make things right . I'd definitely come back . Thanks Jojo & to the manager

Booked w Freya and she's been amazing. Switched from Ms Kawaii to Sumi. Sumi is less packed and does my lashes just as good and just as fast (an hour to an hour 1/2) -The ambience is nice bec first of all its all pink you have divided rooms w curtains, they're pillow is so comfy and perf volume of music i can always fall asleep on. -she also puts a paper towel on my forehead so its sanitary and her hands arnt touching my face. -Also same price range if anything cheaper by $10. -Lasts me a good 4 weeks (and im not even brushing them as often as i should) like they barely fall out?? they use black glue so that probably explains that! def def coming back and recommending to all my girlies lol read more

As a new customer, I really enjoy this place. The music is nice and relaxing and everyone is so nice. Freya was my lash tech and did an amazing job. She's fast, friendly, and is really knowledgeable on helping me figure out what look I wanted. I got wispy style. I LOVE IT. Highly recommend and already looking forward to my next appointment. Bonus. They do facials here too and I'm looking forward to having my first one in a couple weeks read more

I don't normally write reviews as I don't want to be that person. But I'm genuinely upset over my visit. I wanted to like this place and everyone was nice. It was my first and last time coming here. I needed a lash removal. In my years of wearing lash extensions, I've never experienced such a burning pain and unknown substance seeping into my eye during one. I believe the lady who was doing my removal was also doing multiple other things even though there was barely clients in the morning. She left me in the lash room for almost 15-20 minutes doing whatever. Therefore, the substance dripped into my eye and I'm wondering how much product she left on my eye before walking out. I had to run to their restroom to wash my OWN EYE out. I was so sad, I even followed the directions not to open my eyes of course. So what was the verdict, I was not even fully refunded and was given $5 off the removal, and a certificate to come back. I ended up going to urgent care and prescribed antibiotics. Please reconsider. I'm sure they have awesome reviews and that's what I trusted. This business needs to train their technicians better and not let them leave their clients alone with a volatile substance near their eyes. Please take care of your eyes and seek out technicians who genuinely want to take care of you. read more

The people here were kind. I have one complaint but nothing too major. The language barrier was an issue for me. This was my first time getting my lashes done and I was really nervous for the outcome. Due to the language barrier, I wasn't able to get my question answered. After, it was nice but later both eyes were blood shot red. I was unaware that this would happen. It definitely showed in my photos. My tech was quick and efficient which is great. I was told i was seeing an experienced technician but she told me she has been doing it for 6 months. She was very very slow, and understandably so but it's not fair to advertise a training technician as one with "many years of experience" and have the client be stuck on the bed for 2.5 hours because the technician is not fast enough to finish the job in one hour. My technician Bella had to call another person to help her because she was taking much much longer than promised. Other salons advise that the person doing your lashes is a trainee and therefore charge half price, however this salon charged me a full price. Do not recommend unless you know your technician already. Oh and my lashes were nothing near nice. There goes my time and $90. read more

Really love my lashes! I have not had any irritation since getting them done and they are not heavy on my eyes. I have very sensitive eyes and usually when getting lash extensions, I get irritation from the glue later on whenever I wash my face, but I'm happy to say this is not the case. They also have glue for sensitive eyes wish I think helps. This location is very clean and I felt very comfortable. They also have the best prices I've seen and have a discount for first timers. So far, I have had really good retention and no lashes have fallen off. I got the fairy design which is new for me and gotten many compliments on them read more

Sumi® Lashes mission is to provide lash artists the platform they need to soar to new heights and fulfill their dreams of entrepreneurship while not compromising their creativity. We are committed to providing our lash stylists and salons with top quality products and continued lash extension training. Sumi® Lashes was founded in 2016 by husband and wife Bo Cui and Yu Xiao. With their combined experiences, Yu designed and built out the first Sumi® Lashes while Bo worked on perfecting the operations and customer experience. Soon after the first Sumi® Lashes was established, other artists expressed interest in owning their own Sumi® Lashes location, and in May of 2018, the couple decided to Franchise their company. They have since expanded to 10 Franchise locations with several more in the works.

I had my lashes done at a different salon just one week earlier, but they were already falling out and needed a touch-up. It was almost 7:00 PM on a Saturday, and I knew I was walking in without an appointment. The moment I walked into Bright Star Lashes, I was warmly greeted by Linda (owner). Even though she and her staff were busy with other clients, she took the time to listen to my situation. She explained that everyone was occupied, but her trainee, Rose, could help me under her guidance. She reassured me that Rose would do a great job and that she would personally check in throughout the appointment. To my surprise, Linda also offered me a $10 discount because Rose was still in training. I thought that was incredibly thoughtful and honest, especially since I had walked in without an appointment and they were already doing me a favor by staying late. I am so grateful that Linda and Rose stayed well past their closing time to help me. Their salon closes at 8:00 PM, but they didn't finish until after 9:00 PM. At no point did I feel rushed. Linda repeatedly checked Rose's work, and in the end, she personally finished my lashes to make sure everything looked perfect. They truly took their time and cared about the quality of their work. What impressed me the most wasn't just my beautiful lashes ...it was the kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion Linda showed me. She could have easily asked me to come back another day, especially since I arrived late without an appointment, but instead she went above and beyond to help because I had an important event to attend. The salon is spotless, beautifully organized, and smells amazing. Even the restroom was exceptionally clean. I was there for over two hours, yet I felt comfortable and welcomed the entire time. Thank you so much, Linda and Rose, for your outstanding service and for treating me with such kindness. It's rare to find a business that truly puts customers first. This really harsh on your face too. - You can get water on them (after day one of course) and you SHOULD wash them! I splash water on my face and very carefully clean my lashes with clean fingertips. It's important to clean them - you don't want nasty build up! - Be mindful about how you sleep. I'm a side sleeper and, like most side sleepers, prefer one side over the other. If I don't switch up sides often I've noticed the lashes of my preferred side will fall off faster. Every now and then I sleep on my stomach - this is the absolute worst for my lashes as they consistently rub on the pillow at night. How you care for your lashes directly correlates to how long they last. I usually redo my lashes every two weeks to keep them consistent. By the way, Ray gives great massages. I've gone to him several times for this service and I continue returning because I feel very comfortable around him. I highly encourage everyone to check out Ray's services!

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!
