Food? Can't tell you. Before arriving we checked the time they closed, 9pm. My husband and I arrived at 825. A girl comes up to us, claps her hands and says "I think were closed guys". My husband and I looked at each other and proceeded to leave when I said online said 9pm. She then said ok, come in. But at that point who wants to eat at a place who welcomes you in like that. First timer! I had been wanting to try this place for a while and today i had some time to kill so i came in for a late lunch. First thing, who i presume is the owner, was behind the sushi counter making sushi. He politely greeted me and i like that he acknowledged it was not just me, but baby as well. He directed us towards a corner booth. I noticed this place is pretty clean and seems to be an authentic sushi restaurant. At 1pm they did have a decent crowd. The server came over promptly and took my order. I had the mixed tempura and the lunch sushi combo with a coke She came back with my drinks and a miso soup. I love miso soup and this is a good one. Not too salty and it separates when not stirred- a sign of good miso soup. Within about 7 minutes, she brought out my mixed tempura. It was light, airy and still crispy and the dipping sauce had that perfect flavor. When i was about half way down with the tempura she brought my sushi combo. EXTREMELY FRESH! The nigiri was perfectly proportioned. The California roll was equally as fresh. The difference between a good roll and a bad roll is the rice. The rice was fresh and soft. This place is a green flag in the best way possible. I think this will be my new sushi go to place. read more

The customer service was good but my baked salmon roll was a disappointment. I normally go to omakase but today I tried summa sushi because I was at stater bros and it was right next to it. I looked at reviews and they were good so I ordered a baked salmon roll. First the printer wasn't working when I went to pick up my order so it wasn't ready when I arrived because they didn't know they received an online order. That was fine it wasn't that big of a deal, their customer service was still good that's why I gave 2 stars. The problem with my salmon roll was there was not salmon on top. There were thinly sliced slivers of salmon but it was all the dark fatty pieces that are left after slicing the skin off. I personally don't like the skin of the salmon nor do I like only eating the dark fatty pieces. read more

I go here several times for lunch either in person or to-go. Every time I go, the food has been delicious and the service is great. Everyone is very nice and accommodating and the food always tastes fresh. The restaurant is very relaxed and clean. Really enjoy going here for lunch and definitely recommend it! read more

Service is really good so far, i was seated and brought a drink quickly. i asked for recommendation and the server was very helpful. he suggested Salmon 6.99 and Yellowtail 8.29. it was nice and quiet in the restaurant, with low warm lighting. I came in by myself, and was treated very nicely. Super Dynamite Roll this is a baked dish, and it was personally one of my favs, the sweet eel sauce and scallops were just so delicious 10/10 Sashimi Yellowtail- This and the salmon were the stars of the show. this genuinely melted in my mouth it was so good. my server told me how i should pair it, with soy sauce, i added a small peice of ginger and a tiny amount of eel sauce, it was SO delicious. this might've been my fav. 10/10 The Salmon was also delicious, it melted in my mouth and had such a decadent taste. i give it an 9/10 Overall i would 100% come back. read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. The service was terrible. The food awful! When the server came back to drop off our food, before I could ask for napkins or a fork, the waitress rushed off ignoring me. Then, the food was not good at all. I ordered the salmon combination platter with a California roll. The salmon was so dry that although it was glazed with teriyaki sauce, it didn't do it a service. The miso soup was not properly cooked well, it was very bland and didn't have the normal tofu or seaweed it would normally have in a miso soup. My 5 year old daughter also found this odd-looking object her soup! I almost wanted to throw up! Absolutely trash... it was hard and she could've choked on it if she tried to swallow it. At least the nice manager went ahead and removed the meal from our check altogether. But even he could not describe what that was in our soup. read more

The miso soup was terrible. One of the employees said the soup had been sitting out since the morning and it's not 6:30pm. Thats disgusting, it had no seaweed or tofu in the soup and the soup was cold. The presentation was subpar. Food was ok but the service was NOT. First our food took long even though we arrived before the rush. Second when we received our food the server was looking at me holding the dishes expecting me to hand it out and saying not what the menu called it so how was I supposed to know what they were. Third, when we got our bill we were charged something that we didnt end up wanting because we didnt get it with our food as I asked and I was worried it would take long again. Finally, when I told the server of the wrong charge she looked at me threatening and said in a mean way "we will fix it" and just drops the bill without saying anything. I've never entered a sushi place where the employees were mean. Sad to see a local place be ruined bu poor customer service. They are lucky I tipped for such a poor service. read more

We like coming here with our kids since it's close to home. Food is always good, sushi always tastes fresh and great service. Waiters and sushi chefs are always very kind to us and the kids. As new residents to the area, it was important that we find a local spot for us to get our sushi fix. My husband and I have been consistently driving by Summa Sushi for the past few months and finally caved to give them a try. We called in a small order to pick up and take home. The service on the phone was friendly and patient with my questions. The time quoted to pick up my order was accurate. The service upon arrival for pickup was just as warm as the telephone call. It was apparent they have several local patrons and that there is a very friendly, neighborhood vibe to the establishment. Now I know you're probably reading on to see what's going on with the food. Our order consisted of a Golden California Roll and an Orange Crunch Roll. Both were delicious. My husband and I especially liked the Orange Crunch Roll as it packed many of the different fish and Ingredients I typically love in sushi. The sushi was of good quality and tasted fresh. We were pleasantly surprised by Summa Sushi overall from the service to food. Summa Sushi hit the spot to satisfy our sushi cravings. Definitely a solid local establishment to enjoy some good, quality food. They have a ton of other things on their menu we want to try. We'll definitely be back soon. read more

When you help people at least she suppose to let those people who are asking those question to wait because she is helping us. This is such a bad client experience.
