    Nigiri

My husband and I dined in together here. There was essentially little to no wait on a Friday night, but it was still pretty busy. Considering how busy it was I think the service was doing a pretty good job at coming out with the food/waters promptly. It's a pretty big interior there's lots of tables. In terms of the food, for ayce it was $40 pp before tax. I think the fish to rice ratio was great for the nigiri pieces. Depending on what you get, you can get full pretty quickly especially with those more premium rolls. I will say it's okay decent quality cuts for ayce, nothing too crazy. All in all we'd come back!

Food 5/5 Sushi Martini will always be my favorite! I love how fresh their sushi is, everything is so flavorful, filling, and truly melt-in-your-mouth. The Citrus Roll and Inland Empire Roll are absolute must-orders, and their peppered albacore and salmon is so good, so honestly, any roll with those is a win. I also appreciate how generous they are with their roll sizes and sides. I usually order spicy mayo, lemon, and jalapeño on the side, and they've always been accommodating with no issues. To top it off, their miso soup and green tea ice cream are delicious and the perfect finish to the meal. Customer Service 5/5 I've been coming here for over 10 years and have never had any issues with customer service. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Ambience 3/5 I absolutely love the food here! While the interior could use a little renovation, it's very spacious, and I always enjoy being seated in the booths since they're much more comfortable. Cleanliness 5/5 I've never had any issues with cleanliness, the tables are always wiped down, and everything is consistently clean and well maintained. Wait Time 4/5 Wait times are generally fair. When it's busy, there can be a longer wait for seating and food, but that's to be expected. When it's especially crowded, I usually choose to sit at the bar. Cost 4/5 Sushi Martini is a bit on the pricier side, and they don't offer happy hour, but their sushi specials are a great value! You can get miso soup, a salad, and two rolls for under $40, and the quality and flavor are still excellent.

Went to Sushi Martini as they had TV and wanted to watch football and eat sushi. Sat at the bar and discovered they offered AYCE for $39.95. Ordered a couple of rolls and nigiri items and thought it was just ok. The fish for the nigiri was very thin so all I tasted was rice. The rolls did not have a lot of flavor but that could have been what I ordered. Service was friendly at the bar and they do have a unique drinks menu. All n all it was ok.

The food is delicious but the service has taken a dip over the years. They lack anticipation of the needs of their table and just felt as if they weren't paying attention. It wasn't anything major, just something I noticed after coming here for a few years now. Great spot for AYCE sushi tho. I'm sure I will be back again!

I've been here multiple times from San Diego. I really think this is my favorite sushi spot! I love the Frankenstein roll & how unique the colors are. The pieces of fish are thick too. Pretty great service from our server. They got our drinks quickly, and refills etc. Our table ordered both sushi & two hot entrees and two hot appetizers. Unfortunately the hot entrees came significantly later compared to the sushi. Which I can understand since it's coming from a different kitchen, but I really felt they came late. Also, the hot appetizers came at the same time of the hot entrees. I wish the timings were different. A lot of nice seating and there is also a bar area.

Hands down one of the best Sushi spots in Rancho, huge restaurant with plenty of parking, we were seated right away and was greeted by our server Calvin who such a cool guy and took care of us the entire night, food came out quick and everything was just delicious. We picked the All you could eat for $39.99 a person and was definitely worth it. Ambience of the place was great, good for families, dates and gatherings, they also have a full bar. Was a terrific experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Used to love their AYCE, now overpriced considering the quality. Service is nice but they got our orders wrong, and served hot food cold Vibes are upbeat, multiple TV's, loud speakers, chatty patrons. 3/5, average but overpriced, their saving grace would be good rice to fish ratios.

I'm not much of a sushi person. I do like it but it wouldn't be like my first choice in dining. However my experience here on Sunday was pretty darn good both service and food wise. We went around 730pm and were seated immediately. Not busy at all. Our serve stopped by to get our drink order and she also checked in regularly. The citrus was my favorite which does have a slight kick to it, I took off the jalapeño but was still something I enjoyed considering I don't do spicy. Followed by the baked one called home run and then the cream cheese one, Vegas. It's a bit on the darker side regarding lighting making it appear a bit on the old and dreary side, but appeared clean. I would definitely go again based on taste and quick service. They also have an AYCE but that was a bit too much food for us 3.pricing each was about 25 bucks for food and one beer each.

Overall: 4.5/5 This was my 3rd time coming here. Food is good and service was great! I came on a Friday afternoon (around 5:30) and my party of 4 was seated right away. The waiter checked up on us even though he was very busy. The prices are fair and they don't charge for the extra small things such as lemons or jalapeño slices like other sushi places might do. Sushi is good and they put a lot of salmon on top of the roll! Miso soup is also really flavorful. The chicken was tender and juicy. Only thing I think would make it better is if they do a bit of up keeping. Seems a little run down as the time passes.

Sushi Martini is located in Rancho Cucamonga and serves sushi in a restaurant and lounge type spot. It's located in a plaza with a large parking lot. They have tables that can be pushed together which is convenient for large parties. There's also a bar area with a couple TVs. They offer both AYCE ($40/person) and a la carte options. We ordered a variety of nigiri and rolls and my favorites were the unagi and salmon nigiri. Most if not all the rolls had a lot of sauce on top which always makes me suspicious of its quality. For cocktails we ordered the lychee martini ($11) and the mango jalapeño margarita ($10) which were both good and well priced.

Lunch sushi combo; 2 half rolls with soup and salad (dug into the salad before taking the photo.)

It was definitely more of a lively atmosphere, so conversation was a bit difficult at times due to the volume, but we still had a wonderful time enjoying the drinks and music. They dont allow any food to be brought in which is crazy because you are in a food hall. So plan accordingly. They do serve unlimited amounts of their popcorn which tasted pretty good. They have some heat to them!! This is like an Arizona or Mew Mexo themed type speakeasy. I love their decor. With the fireplace and the animal skulls and animal skins everywhere. I just love how it looked. Theres an exit to the outside patio area which is nice, since this place stays open longer than most of the shops in Haven City. Only problem is if theyre playing music outside, every time the door opens it is so loud!! Like annoyingly blow my ear drums loud. Their drinks are very southwest themed. They have a lot of drink options to choose from. We ordered their blue sky and silver cloud. Presentation looked pretty. But the drinks were not that great. I had their silver cloud which had a mango foam on top. Tasted great, till you mixed it into the drink. The drink was way to smokey. It was so smokey it was almost bitter. I get a little smoke. But it was way too much. Any notes of mango or fruit or sweetness was lost in the smoke. The blue sky looked pretty. But after having a sip of the silver cloud it killed my taste buds. I couldn't taste anything in the blue sky. After our first round of drinks we were done. Had to go home and make myself an extremely sweet drink to get my taste buds back..... its a great concept. The price point is reasonable. 16 dollars for each drink. I do love the decor. But the vibes from the outside is distracting. If your into mezcals and smokey drinks this place is for you. But it unfortunately was not my cup of tea.

The Lanai is located in the Cravings food court area at The Station shopping center in Eastvale. There is plenty of parking available. We went inside to the Shuck Oyster bar and entered The Lanai from there. It is actually more of a tiki patio than an enclosed tiki bar. However, the tiki décor is great with plenty of bamboo, carved tiki figures, hanging puffer fish, tiki style signs, and many tropical accents. There are overhead fans spaced around in case it is hot outside. We had one round of drinks and several appetizers. The coconut shrimp and lightly battered Shishito peppers were great and the sauces paired well. We have had these appetizers at Stowaway before and they had the same good quality. She ordered the spicy tofu bites. I'm not usually a fan of tofu, but they were surprisingly really good. I had the Adrian's Mistake cocktail which was well balanced and a little on the strong side. The rolls came very saucy, and most plates had an aesthetic appearance. Personally, if I were to ever revisit this location, I'd only order the garlic noodles w/ shrimp & the nigiri. For this review, I will focus on the Lobster Tail Roll ($36), Gyoza ($14), and Monaka Ice Cream ($7). I arrived at Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) on Sunday (around 12:50PM). Parking is very easy. The lot is HUGE. I had a reservation for 1PM, but a reservation felt superfluous since the restaurant was VERY empty. Throughout the entire dining experience, I only noticed one other group arrive. Staff is the HIGHLIGHT! Staff (receipt says JoJo) was the MAIN superstar. JoJo charmed the table; JoJo maintained a professional, kind demeanor; and JoJo worked very hard. JoJo gave excellent recommendations, and JoJo maintained a friendly, bright smile throughout our visit. Regarding food, it felt inconsistent. The food in the beginning was plated elegantly and carefully. However, as time progressed, it felt like the kitchen was beginning to rush despite the lack of customers. Food arrived very slowly, and later plates looked a little splattered and untidy. Thankfully, most of the food was very good. It's a journey of texture, fresh ingredients, and light & bright flavors. The Lobster Tail Roll ($36) had fried lobster bits, asparagus, avocado, masago, eel sauce, and mayo. It tasted like a vegetable roll at times. The Gyoza ($14 - 6 Piece) was panfried with seasoned pork and vegetables. Tasty!! And the Monaka Ice Cream ($7) is tiny with Macaroon Shell and a small scoop of Green Tea Ice Cream. All in all, these dishes didn't feel special, but they were prepared well enough. On ambiance, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is very attractive. The location is dimly lit, very clean, and spacious. However, the music is awkward at times. There were moments where light, lovely music was playing... only for random yelling music to briefly appear... to then suddenly be replaced with a country-style song. It all felt surreal. I don't think it was intended, but I think their music playlist was accidentally switched to the wrong track. Overall, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is an interesting experience. Honestly, the only reason this review is "5 Stars" is because our waitress was EXEMPLARY. Although the ambiance and cooking staff was lackluster, the front of house is MAGIC. This is a not bad, pricey place. 4.5 out of 5
