Yet again another location I walk by all the time. Located at the entrance of Superior Groceries, my wife kept insisting that we try this place for a teriyaki bowl. So, after much time I finally decided to stop by. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect. The place was empty so I was able to order quickly. It did take almost 15 minutes to get my order of 2 beef teriyaki bowls but honestly, I'm not gonna complain because I saw it was made fresh. Took my good home and quickly ate it as I was hungry. The food had some good flavor, it wasn't too sweet. Could I have gone for some more sweetness or salt, absolutely. Despite that, I was admittedly impressed, I wasn't expecting that good of a bowl.

I love this place so much!! I have been coming here for a really long time and it always hits the spot. The sushi is bomb especially for the price and I love getting their taro or green tea boba smoothies 10/10 recommend. I don't think this place gets enough traffic. If you're ever thinking of getting store bought sushi at like staters or vons, come here instead because the quality is so much better and it's a good price. Plus the workers are extremely friendly!! Food was actually pretty tasty but they are incredibly rude. I spent over $25 on order and asked for ginger. They told me it would be 50 cents. Nickle and diming me but that is fine, it's their business so I handed her my debit card and she just shook her head stating I couldn't pay just 50 cents using my card. I just laughed and walked out of there. I would have been repeat customer but she lost lot of business over a condiment. read more

Can't beat the portion to price ratio. Sushi rolls from this rando Mexican named grill is the best! Very comparable to higher priced establishments. My go to is tempura roll, dragon roll and Hawaiian roll. Also, tried the tacos and yaki soba and needles to say the 5 stars I'm giving them are for the amazing rolls. read more

This location is kinda hidden. It is inside the grocery store. Sushi was unappealing. They gave a tiny sliver of wasabi crust that literally looked like it was the dried out remnant at the end of the jar. Even my dog would not eat the sushi rolls after genuinely trying twice. And if you new my dog, that's saying something. read more

Been coming here for a few years. You cannot beat the price! $6 eel roll and to die for fresh thin sliced carne asada tacos. If you like sushi and tacos this place is great! In addition to rolls they have traditional Japanese dishes; Yaki Soba Teriyaki Combo plates And Korean spicy bbq pork! Wow! Not a huge selection of rolls but everything is great and fresh. California, dragon, Hawaiian, philly, tuna, tiger, rainbow, crunch, shrimp tempura. Even though it's fast casual they bring your tray, drink and offer free miso soup. Love this place when I crave sushi & tacos (everyday) $10 and I'm good! read more

They might not have the best sushi, but it's good enough when I am in a budget. I can buy two orders of sushi for $12, which is the price for one order in some fancy restaurants. So again, not the best, but it's actually one of the best cheap sushi I've had. read more

I didn't think much of this place because I am not a fan of Superior but I tried the sushi and it was great! I tried the California and Hawaiian roll and I was not disappointed. The rolls were a good size and got me full. The employees were kind and were able to whip up the rolls right away. The best part were the prices! Love affordable sushi! read more

Stay away from the chicken! First of all, they got our order wrong and insisted that it was my husband's fault. After he drove back to return the wrong food, they gave us our chicken, beef, and shrimp fried rice with SPOILED CHICKEN! I took one bite and spit it out! It smelled and looked BAD. I go to Macho Grille for a quick bite! Limited menu but Very reasonable prices and well served! It takes some time to prepare so try to call ahead! One time I called ahead and hey didn't make the order until I got there and paid for it! But now I call ahead and they have it ready for me! They must know me now! Lol! Spicy mayo is extra cost and they have boba slush too! Try the crunch roll and the Cali roll! The yakisoba is just ok in the taste! You can eat there but I prefer to dig in at home where I can use my fingers and a fork! I don't know how to use chopsticks hahah! I would recommend this place! Another suggestion you can go order and pay while you do a quick grocery run at the Super market located right in the same shopping area! Try it! read more

If you look at past photos and the current photo I posted you can see the difference. It was a lot smaller. The avocado was brown, and it tasted warm and slimy. The teriyaki bowls were just fine! It's a great value and the portion is huge. The chicken is nicely grilled and the sauce they use isn't too sweet. I do add kimchi to mine because it needs some freshness, crunchy, and acidity because there's not veggies.

Staff is the HIGHLIGHT! Staff (receipt says JoJo) was the MAIN superstar. JoJo charmed the table; JoJo maintained a professional, kind demeanor; and JoJo worked very hard. JoJo gave excellent recommendations, and JoJo maintained a friendly, bright smile throughout our visit. Regarding food, it felt inconsistent. The food in the beginning was plated elegantly and carefully. However, as time progressed, it felt like the kitchen was beginning to rush despite the lack of customers. Food arrived very slowly, and later plates looked a little splattered and untidy. Thankfully, most of the food was very good. It's a journey of texture, fresh ingredients, and light & bright flavors. The Lobster Tail Roll ($36) had fried lobster bits, asparagus, avocado, masago, eel sauce, and mayo. It tasted like a vegetable roll at times. The Gyoza ($14 - 6 Piece) was panfried with seasoned pork and vegetables. Tasty!! And the Monaka Ice Cream ($7) is tiny with Macaroon Shell and a small scoop of Green Tea Ice Cream. All in all, these dishes didn't feel special, but they were prepared well enough. On ambiance, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is very attractive. The location is dimly lit, very clean, and spacious. However, the music is awkward at times. There were moments where light, lovely music was playing... only for random yelling music to briefly appear... to then suddenly be replaced with a country-style song. It all felt surreal. I don't think it was intended, but I think their music playlist was accidentally switched to the wrong track. Overall, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is an interesting experience.
