Our group didn't realize breakfast ends at 10:30am, even on a Sunday. We decided to stay anyways & sat at bar for lunch. The Black bean & Quinoa Burger sounds better than it looks. My boyfriend returned it but enjoyed the side salad. Their roll ups are cut in half & served with one side. The Spicy chicken roll ups & Tuna roll ups were our favorite of the options. We ended up here on a Friday night for dinner when wait times at other restaurants in RB were excessive. Summer Kitchen was able to seat our larger party quickly and provided excellent service! Emma was our waitress and she was fabulous! I ordered the shrimp & penne pasta - it was flavorful and delicious! The lemon butter sauce was one of the best I've had. Our table also ordered the Sauvignon Blanc and champagne, and they were great as well. Highly recommend!! read more

The Summer Kitchen Cafe is really a bar with several bistro tables inside and out. The Bloody Mary is good and a must if you order takeout food because it takes a very long time to get the food ordered. There's also a tv in the bar to watch. The avocado role is good and I would recommend getting the side of salsa to dip it in. The cinnamon rolls are not exceptional and the French toast tastes more like stale bread with powdered sugar on it. Stick to the basics here like scrambled eggs. read more

Delicious food, excellent service, outdoor dining- This restaurant only has seating at this time for one party inside and 6 parties outside. They have a limited menu but the food our family had were delicious: ahi tuna, pan fried grouper w/ grits and asparagus, shrimp w/ penne pasta, capers, feta, and lemon butter sauce. read more

We had eaten here once before while visiting the area. We decided this evening to try the Summer kitchen cafe. Lucky for us there was only a half hour wait. It was a fantastic evening to dine outside and we were greeted immediately by the most fantastic server, Sophia. She took care of our every need in a very timely manner.She listed their evening specials and my wife and son had a blackened swordfish that was absolutely stupendous and I had a great filet that was also fantastic. The grilled fish du jour sandwich was really good. Fresh fish on a toasted sub with homemade tartar sauce. The fries were also homemade and fresh. However, the price was a little high for a local fish sandwich that you can get almost anywhere. I've been here many times and highly recommend it! read more

I gave it 1 star for the location. Staff was not friendly. It felt very awkward. I got the yogurt with granola it was was terrible. No flavor. It almost felt like their was no sugar in the yogurt or the granola. Someone in the group got the egg roll up and said it was boring. We would not recommend. We waited, as the sign says, to be seated. We wave to the 4 workers hanging inside at the bar area. Nothing. We try to get the outside waitresses attention. Nothing. So, we wait. Then two couples walk up behind us and grab shaded tables outside. The waitress, who's seen us.... Tells us she'll seat us after she gets waters for the two tables of new customers. ???? We get seated in a half shaded, half sunny table by an SUV. Totally sucked. Service was extremely slow for only 3 tables to serve. A family sits behind us and the woman comes up behind me and moves my purse to the other side of my chair. She says it's getting in the way of her child's scooter. Lol. The scooter her child is trying to ride in a seated area of a frickin restaurant that's about to trip up pedestrians. We finally order a beer, a mimosa and we start with the trio. (It's hummus, guacamole and salsa with chips, pita, and carrots ). The salsa was horrible. Worse than canned salsa. Other stuff was fine. It takes forever to get service, so we don't order anything else. I did finally get a refill of water... After we paid the bill. read more

We have been here in rosemary for almost a week and I wish I had known about this place!! My mom and I both agree that we haven't had a salad in years that we enjoyed this much! They have excellent wraps and salads. The chicken is organic and you can top your salads or sandwiches with the fish of the day! We got the arugula and red quinoa salad topped with organic chicken, (feta-add on) and lemon vinaigrette. And for you mamas-to-be, all the cheeses are pasteurized. Love this place and hope to come back tomorrow. Even the pre teens were lined up!! Indoor / outdoor seating and they accept credit cards (except Amex). They serve lunch and dinner. Visited the Summer Kitchen Cafe twice for dinner during the last ten days of May 2014 ... And both times had an excellent experience. The food and service was superb. During our first visit, our party had the Pan Fried Grouper, Shrimp and Grits, and a wonderful summer salad with chicken ... plus the daily special of Pan Seared Grouper. All were spectacular. On our second visit, we couldn't resist the Pan Fried Grouper again, as well as the Shrimp Penne Pasta and the daily special of Diver Scallops. Our service was exceptional each time ... a wonderful and friendly staff. The Summer Kitchen Cafe is a must visit for a Rosemary Beach vacation, whether for dinner, breakfast or lunch. read more

The only downside to this place is how busy it got and they seemed to be short staffed. That being said the food was fantastic. We each had a roll up and we split a cinnamon roll. Everything was great, we are hoping to make a second trip back while in town. Originally I had rated this place with 4 stars. We enjoyed it so much we went back before the end of our vacation. Then we were disgusted luckily at the end of our meal. One of the male waiters took two plates to the wrong table. The customers brought the two plates back inside and said "this is not our food he gave us" the female waitress that was sitting at the bar took both plates immediately back out to the right table. When we were paying to leave I asked if "down here you can do that after food has been at another table" she responded "well..." I said "so no" her response was "if the other table had cared we would have remade the food but the didn't mind" Well I would mind and it's a clear health code violation as she admitted. Just a really, really lovely meal. Service was fantastic - our server was warm and friendly, knowledgable and quick. Our meal was incredible - we each started with a salad followed by the pan fried chicken for me and the tuna special for my husband. Kids were happy to have hotdogs as an option! I can't say enough about this little Rosemary gem and its owner, James. We ordered carry out on our first night at the beach and loved every dish. The shrimp and grits were delicious...extra creamy, our child devoured the fried grouper and I loved the lemon chicken with mashed potatoes and asparagus. We returned to dine in on our final night and had a filet cooked to perfection, and also loved the pistachio crusted salmon special and arugula salad. We did not meet the owner during our 2 visits to the restaurant, but had the pleasure and pure luck to find him during our early departure this morning. Our rented home was just a few doors down from Summer Kitchen Cafe and our car was packed and loaded for our 7 hour journey home. When our car battery failed, James offered jumper cables and a boost, which was unsuccessful. He then offered to drive my husband 10 miles away to pick up a new battery and helped install the new one. I also tried the famous Sweet Water IPA you can only get in southern states- so good! We really liked the quaint atmosphere and lovely oldies playing on the radio! We had an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC dinner at Summer Kitchen Cafe! The food was out of this world and the service was SPECTACULAR! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The two 4oz filets that came with my meal were cooked to perfection! My wife was delighted with her shrimp caesar salad. For late January, it was comfortable enough to sit outside. Had there been a bit of a chill in the air, there were heaters above the outdoor tables which guaranteed we would be comfortable for the duration of our meal. The next time we stop by, we will probably bring our four legged friends along as their outdoor seating area is dog friendly (equipped with water bowls for the pups)! read more

The absolute WORST service in Rosemary.... We came to sit at the bar for brunch about 9:45-10am. The crowd wasn't too bad yet, 4-5 tables full and the bar had two other people seated. It took us 20 min. to even get the woman to take a drink order although she walked by us numerous times and made eye contact. Then we had to ask if we could order, b/c clearly it's up to me to get service. Granted, this young lady was busy making drinks and wasn't just sitting around so I will give her props on that! The staff was clearly miserable working in the service industry. Two of the ladies were complaining about their day and how it wasn't even lunch yet. This was a great little place in Rosemary. We would have never known about it without Yelp. I had the grilled Mahi-Mahi sandwich and it was cooked perfectly on a light bun. It made for a great lighter lunch. We also had the Kale salad with chicken. Again, cooked just right and the Kale was very fresh. A nice selection of bottled beers with several craft and imports. Please do better following COVID protocols to prevent the rapid spread of COVID. All staff should be required to wear masks and even gloves as I can not stress how unsanitary it was having one of the employees without gloves pressing down ALL over the coffee lid down and not wearing a mask.
