Wonderful steak option closer to $80 that is aged and highly recommend. Parking can be tuff so if your staying in the area I'd walk or get a ride. One of the most delicious meals I've had on Rosemary Beach! We had 8pm dinner reservations for a party of 5 on a Friday night. Right when we arrived, we were walked to our table, which was a booth and was plenty of room for the 5 of us. When we were walking to our table, I noticed how nice this restaurant was! The ambiance was on point. Very nice but not too nice. Our waiter immediately addressed us when we sat down and gave us his recommendations for drinks. I decided on the peach Paloma spritz. It was delicious and well presented. Others in my party got red wine, a French 75 and the market ranch water. I thought mine was the most delicious lol. Before we ordered our appetizers, the waiter was so beyond knowledgeable about the whole menu. Gave us all of the specials like nothing I have ever heard before. He was so great! For our appetizers, we got the bread butter candle, smoked fish dip, and the burrata salad. The bread butter candle was the best thing I've ever had! It was so cool and very unique. I absolutely loved the burrata salad, but I thought the fish dip was a tad too fishy for me. For our entrees, most of the table got the red fish and the other two got the steak and the pasta. Gallion's Restaurant in Rosemary Beach was, without hesitation, one of the best restaurant experiences my husband and I have had in a very long time! Her recommendations truly made our experience even better. We started with the Butter Candle and the Gulf Shrimp Scampi with lemon beurre blanc--and WOW! The scampi was a 10/10. The flavor and presentation were absolutely incredible, and every bite was better than the last. We then split the much-talked-about Parmesan Crusted Snapper, served with garlic butter, artichoke hearts, and tomatoes. We enjoyed our meal at Gallion's but my husband I both said we don't know if we would go back. The food seemed pricey for the portion sizes, especially the grouper dish. We also thought the first pour of wine my husband had was on the small side; 2nd pour seemed correct. Vanessa was a very attentive server despite the fact she was also working as a bartender behind the bar. We did enjoy the bread with the butter candle even though the candle kept going out, I had a salad and added blackened shrimp, the shrimp were delicious. Our server was outstanding throughout the meal and the entire team was on top of all aspects of service. We chose this place because of the great reviews, but we just didn't have much luck this time. We came in for the first time and had a mixed experience. We started with the soup of the day (seafood chowder), which was good. Then we ordered the steak frites and a burger, and the food took a long time to come out, the server came by to say she'd check on it, but it still took much longer than expected. When the steak finally arrived, I had ordered it medium but it came out medium well to well done, pretty overcooked, and the fries that came with it were also a bit burnt. The server was attentive and offered us a discount for the delay, and when I mentioned the steak, she got the manager involved. He came over, apologized, said he'd let the chef know, and ended up comping that dish entirely, it was clear they cared about making it right. My husband's burger was good. We had wanted to try the carrot cake for dessert, but after everything, we just lost the appetite for it. The service was friendly and they tried to make up for the mistake, but between the long wait and the overcooked steak, it wasn't the first impression we were hoping for. We walked here during halftime of the Bills game because it was brutal to watch. They were serving lunch still, and I got an Old Fashioned as recommended by our server Kara. She was friendly, professional, and helpful. Gave us some of the recommendations and highlights of the menu. My parents decided to get the grouper sandwich and the fish dip. The grouper came with a side salad, and the fish dip was delicious, candied jalapeno relish was a nice touch with the lavash. I got the Reuben, and upgraded to the parm truffle fries. The fries were exceptionally tasty. Also asked for an extra side of the Russian dressing which was tasty with the fries. They were delicious. The inside filling was very creamy. The beet salad was probably my favorite dish. It was light but refreshing and delicious. The sweetness from the dried fruit, and candied walnuts paired perfectly with the arugula and the beets. The ravioli was delicious, and they were generous with the lobster. There were 5 pieces of ravioli. Probably some of the best ravioli I have ever had. The crab cake was good, but nothing special. It had a good slaw. The service was great. Typically parking can be difficult but we were lucky and found a spot right away. The good: Rosemary is beautiful in the evenings and we dined here on a lovely evening. The decor is nice. What was not so good...I eat gluten free and always ask about the food, I asked if there was a gf menu, our server replied that there were only 2 things on the menu that could not be modified to be gluten free. When it was time to order I asked for something different than the 2 things she mentioned and she said, that's not gluten free. Ok, so I ordered a Caesar salad with no croutons. When my food arrived it was a small handful of lettuce with dressing on the side and a bit of cheese. I would have been embarrassed to send that out of the kitchen, my companion pointed it out to our server and she did deliver some more lettuce. What a truly memorable meal from start to finish. Our waiter, Alex, was wonderful -- attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced the evening without ever being intrusive. I ordered the double pork chop, served with a rich, silky demi-glace over white truffle risotto, and it was outstanding. One of the most impressive elements was the pumpkin goat cheese component -- so subtle that you wouldn't guess "pumpkin" or "goat cheese" if you had not read it. Instead, it simply added the perfect balance of gentle saltiness, depth, and creamy richness to the truffle risotto. Everything on the plate worked in harmony. Even the broccoli was tender and layered with delicate, elevated flavor -- clearly treated with as much care as the main components. The Malbec paired beautifully, and it's easy to see why Gallion's has received the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence every year, as well as the Best of Award of Excellence for 2025. The airline chicken was the other standout entrée and an excellent lighter choice. The organic chicken was beautifully prepared, seasoned with herbs de province, over squash purée, and served with elevated vegetables: rainbow cauliflower, baby carrots, and fingerling potatoes, accompanied by a lemon-lavender jus. Elegant, balanced, and incredibly flavorful. I would consider this a healthy veggie-lovers' perfect choice. For dessert, we shared the crème brûlée and key lime pie -- both were lovely and provided a perfect ending to an already exceptional meal. As we walked in the staff was friendly and helpful assisting us to our table. The waitress was great. Amongst two people there was still Ribeye left over to take home. The filet was devoured. Both had amazing flavors! So I had it with shrimp. Caesar salad was the worst I've had down here. Actually pathetic. They should visit Cuvee 30a or Amici 30a to see what it should be like.
