Wow, what an experience from an Alabamaian. We were googling coffee shops in Fort Worth and found this one. It was 1 of very few that had a 5 star rating. After visiting, I too give it 5 stars. The staff was friendly. I asked about the wood fired coffee and was explained what it was. The coffee is fabulous. This is our new favorite. Best coffee I've had. If I lived here, I would support it. Horrible customer service. I could definitely sense racial profiling. As far as coffee I think certainly overrated and overpriced. No social distancing enforced. There is a garbage outside the patio which stinks of dog poo and even the grass around it of dog pee. Patio tables not cleaned or sanitized in-between customers. Super convenient for me (I can walk from home), great quality, nice staff, decent prices. And it's not Starbucks. What's not to like? My only real gripe is their app. I'd knock off half a star if I could. First, they charge a fee to order through the app, despite the fact that it just makes things smoother for them and for me (so illogical... why?). Second, I've twice been standing at the pickup area, waiting for my app order (because it wasn't ready when I walked in), and not realized that my order had finally come up, because staff did not call out my name (like they do for counter orders). So, I just don't use the app. Not the end of the world, but pretty annoying. It should make things easier. Instead, it's like a penalty. Lol Anyway. I'm still giving them five stars because 4.5 is not an option. It's really delicious coffee. Not l burnt-tasting like some places, excellent milk-to-espresso ratio in the lattes and cappuccinos (no need to pay for an extra shot to actually taste the coffee), free WiFi, interesting food options, and a huge patio. The drink was great. Good flavor and not too sweet. I think I had the blue moon or something, I just asked for their recommendation. The price was pretty crazy though, $9 for 20 oz. I went to study and hang out but the inside had more tables and chairs than lounge area. I was able to get the "couch" but it wasn't too comfy. Even though the drink was good, based on price and comfort I'll probably stick with Cherry, Avoca, or one of the other hundred coffee shops in the area. read more

It's a pretty small coffee shop so it's hard to find room to do work inside since it's always super busy. If you like sitting outside it's nice! The drinks are okay only if you like super sweet coffee. The baristas were super helpful when it came to adjusting which was nice, but I still found them a bit too sweet. I visited the west 7th Summer Moon shop this past Saturday after a lazy day. It is now my favorite place to hang and do my work I've come back everyday since. The coffee and pastries that they had were so delicious. The two barista's working were so friendly and pleasant to talk with. Laila recommended I try her favorite the mocha moon which is now my favorite as well. Trinity was also very informative about their sweet cream moon milk and helped me out as well. Wow wow wow. Absolutely delicious!! I got the half summer moon and you could tell it was made with care. They have SO MUCH super cute merchandise to buy, and if I wasn't in town to visit and flying back, I would have walked away with some. Great vibe, good ambience. Coffee amazing, great options of hot and cold, and good spacing for studying inside and outside. The reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because they pull the bullshit give-you-a-16-oz coffee without asking you the size and charge you for it. As being a first timer, I was completely thrown off by this as I was trying to figure out what the heck moon milk was! and although I know many coffee places do this, I think it's a rude way to get a "quick buck."
